Would like to share that I bought a washer from them, it broke down as I washed a rug and plugged up the pump. The manager assisted me who to call @ GE appliances as my washer was only a year and half old. The washer is fixed now and I am a most happy camper. What a wonderful place to buy big appliances and very helpful to get appliances fixed. It has always been my go to place for appliances. Thank you so very much.

Always good to have it open and available. It has everything I need. You can buy inside, order ahead and/or have it delivered to you outside the store. Wheel chair accessible and good friendly people inside.

Ordered a new oven back on October 23rd and it is now Feb. 1st and they still cant tell me when Ill be getting it. When I call they say that its in shipping or shipping would be slow and Id have it by the end of November, call again and then they say oh it will be here by the end of January,the last couple of times I have called it was that department head was out or our system is down. They dont respond to emails. this is literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

So happy with my new washer and dryer, purchased Saturday, fully installed by noon today. Always happy to shop local!! 🥰

As soon as I walked in this morning, the cashier pointed me to the right direction and a lady asked me what I needed help with and sent me to the right place. Steve in the lock shop department was very friendly and extremely helpful during my visit. I’ve never been in a store where 3 employees assisted me so nicely and professionally! Great place!

Needed a refrigerator FAST for my elderly father when his died. Although they didnt have what we needed to pick up right away, the appliance person working on 5/31/20 was able to work with us, arrange a quick freight ship & delivery for just a couple of days from now! This all happened in less than 20 minutes, after I wasted an hour at another Carbondale home improvement store & couldnt even get someone to wait on me. Not my first appliance purchase from Carbondale Ace--I should have known to just go here first! THANK YOU!

Visited Murdale True Values lock department on 6/25/2019, to have a set of locks re-keyed. A young man named Jacob helped me. He was very courteous, and efficient. He went right to work, and re-keyed all 6 locks while I waited. He told me the price up front, and had me on my way in no time. Nice kid, good employee, and a good experience.

This used to be one of our go-to stores. However, due to their Covid-19 policy (no children under 16), which discriminates against single parents, I will not return. The policy is as bad as Menards, which I have also boycotted. Im very disappointed.

Brantley was very competent and personable. Although they were closing in 45 minutes he was more concerned with our happiness with paint than acting put out like at big box stores. He helped us find the right paint color combo and mixed ten gallons while holding pleasant conversation with us. Highly recommend.

95% of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, but unfortunately one rotten apple can wreck it all. In the past I have had nothing but great experiences here,m S o I will only let this one bad experience draw it down to 3-stars in hope the owner takes action.The women running the locksmith shop is absolutely rude, condescending, and unprofessional. When I arrived at the counter S he was on the phone cussing at one of their vendors for not returning her call right in front of me as a customer. I brought in my own keys to have cut, and she looked at me straight in the eye and told me I was incompetent and wouldnt be able to program them. Guess what, I programmed them without any issue.The last thing is the outrageous price for cutting my keys. There is absolutely nothing different between cutting a normal key and a transponder key, yet they charged me $10 per key when normally its $2. As a small business owner I understand that they are trying to incentivize me to purchase the key from them, but this is straight highway robbery given It takes less than a minute to make the key... and you make me sign a release of liability! If youre going to charge me a ridiculous price at least stand behind your work. Luckily they cut mine okay.I will continue to support this True Value but wont touch the Lock Shop with a 10 pole ever again unless this is addressed.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. They have an awesome appliance section, with some modern things to buy that are very nice. Nice products overall. Theyve a cool rental section with lanterns and things for weddings/parties/etc. They also have a really cool paint selection.

Skip the big box stores where no one can tell you anything other than Aisle 4 then leave you. This is the best hardware store around! Super friendly staff, great community support too.!

Horrible appliance delivery service. Bought new speed queen washer and dryer. On delivery day the delivery guys were an hour late and never called. I just completely remodeled my kitchen and they drug the washer across the A/C vent scratching the paint off of it in three places. I asked him to mover the dryer back further he informed it was all the way back. I looked and it had 4 inches to go I told him that and he said it will be ok there. I had to give him a direct order to move it and finally he did. Once they were done with install they said thats it were done. I asked if they were going to level it and he said its level. They never put a level on it. I again asked if they would level it because it didnt look level. He then picked the washer up about 5 inches off the floor, dropped it and said its level. I again questioned him and he said weve been doing this for 9 years every day its level. After they left I got a level and checked, the machines are 3/4 of an inch off level from side to side it is very visible. Basically the installers refused to level the machines they could care less about how they install these machines very sad. I dont know how they keep their jobs? I called and complained to the store and am waiting a response from the manager.

Lorraine, lock shop manager, is the best. She knows her product and is extremely helpful. She is caring and will bend over backward to help you.

Friendly staff, fair prices on automotive keys, and a very good selection of everything DIY. I had two keys made over the last few years, one for a vintage car and one for a newer Gonda. Both were priced fairly and well made.

We were supposed to have laundry machines delivered and installed the beginning of this semester since the old ones in our house needed replaced. Its now almost 5 weeks into the semester and the laundry machines have still not arrived. According to our housing corps they had several dates that Murdale said they were going to deliver them, and they did not do so on any of them. Would not reccomend this place for your appliance needs.

I was looking for items to repair my old siding. Although they did not carry this item (I still havent found it anywhere) They walked me over and showed me some comparable items that I could use. They also are very community minded and support community organizations and events. We need to support our local businesses that support us!

My parents ordered a 2 washer/dryer sets and was told that the one that was not a floor model would be delivered in 2 weeks. We are now on week 4 and promised that it will be delivered tomorrow. Im not holding my breathe. Our family will NEVER do business with them again. The man there that they were dealing with was NOT helpful at all.

It is now an Ace Hardware, instead of True Value. Still a very large inventory and a very good key making department.
