Absolutely amazing store. I accidentally ordered the wrong mattress and I worked with Matt and Loyd at the Carbondale store to make my exchange as painless as possible. Fantastic experience from beginning to end. We were not first time mattress buyers and knew what we wanted and what we did not want. The salesman helped narrow our selection to 3 beds and didn’t waste our time by showing us beds that would not have met our preferences just in order to try to make an up-sale. We were in and out in under an hour, which certainly could not be said about the other furniture and mattress stores we have visited. (Looking at you Anderson’s in Marion, 2 hours of being shown beds the cheapest of which was $3500 after discounts and kept trying to talk us in to memory foam). Please if you have had this experience visit Mattress Firm they will take care of your needs as a customer and are able to get your bed within a few days not weeks.

Staff was courteous and helpful in our selection. They took time with my family and did not rush us or press us on our selection. Purchased 2 mattresses that day and will be making another purchase in the near future.

We walked in not knowing even remotely what we wanted except a nice comfortable king size bed. We never imagined we would be signing paperwork for one of the best beds/frames they had! We are so excited to get our bed and enjoy the cool functions it has. Sealy postropedic (if I even spelled that correctly) and it has a smart remote that allows you to vibrate/massage, sit up right or lay flat. Highly recommended, as far as the customer service goes too. Very very helpful and knowledgeable and didnt try to talk us into the most expensive bed...we are just high maintenance and chose one of the most expensive ones ourselves haha

Shopping for bedding is hard work when you’re a single guy. We had a king size bed before and it was just too large for the room so this time I chose a queen. Trez Hannah was super helpful. He asked me a series of questions to narrow down my needs and then presented options so I could pick and choose what I wanted.Driving to the store involves an hour and a half round-trip. Plus the time in the store picking out the mattress so roughly 2 hours maybe 2 1/2 hours total. Trez and I were on the phone no more than 15 or 20 minutes and I’m totally satisfied with what he recommended.First time buyer, I highly recommend the store and especially this sales person. I don’t even know where to begin. First time mattress buyers left the house today with plans to check out multiple places and was very nervous about consulting with a stranger about it all. I have been shopping for a new mattress for a little while. Memory foam in a box not quite my thing. Trez was super helpful, informative and friendly. He tried to work a deal on 2 mattresses as a friend was thinking about a new one for her son. (didnt work out - friend not ready yet) Good timing with free delivery and 50% off (sticker price). That part seemed weird kind of like the going out of business sale - everythings gotta go, rock bottom prices, etc. then 6 months later the business is still there. Oh well, the wonders of marketing and free market capitalism.

Trez was our salesman when shopping for a new mattress on 11/30/19. I am very mindful of good customer service, as it is seems to be less & less easy to find. Immediately upon entering, this young man made an impression on us as he verbally welcomed us to the store followed by an inviting smile. He was very patient with our quandary of which mattress to choose. He never once made us feel rushed even when there was an influx of customers. He was somehow attentive to each of us without making any of us feel neglected. He sold quite a few mattresses to others that day as well as to us. It was a wonderful shopping experience because of Trezs fantastic attitude & knowledge of the products he was selling. We left knowing that he sold us a product for our comfort & not just for a sale. We went to look for an affordable full size bed set and the store assistant manager was the textbook definition of genuine customer care. He provided all the information needed and personal advice showing that he was both honest and knew what he was talking about. The prices were actually the same as Sams Club but the quality of products was one notch above, plus it included delivery to our home. Kindness in business goes a long way!

Our experience today at the Carbondale MattressFirm store was a very positive one. We were greeted at the door by Martrez who asked about our needs and explained the layout of the store.
