Locally owned by humans! Not to many stores like this left with the takeover of the internet so if you need outdoor gear or super nice canoes go here and give uncle Jeff your scrilla when you need soap.

Fantastic shop, pretty incredible how much quality gear they have!

My wife and I went to Quattros. Excellent experience every time. The remodel they did during COVID-19 was much needed and well done. The staff is on point courteous and friendly. The pizza is very good.

I needed some hiking boots so I decided to visit Shawnee Trails. The employee was patient and helpful and together we were able to find boots that fit perfectly. The prices are excellent and they will even match Amazon and other online places. Great place to shop local!

Ive been buying my outdoor gear at Shawnee Trails for 30 years! Backpacks, sleeping bags, tents, clothing, stove, even a couple of canoes and a kayak. Rick and his staff are the best! Always a great experience here. Edit: I forgot to list boots and sandals. Huge selection!

I ALWAYS try to support local business first. WAY OVER PRICED. I’m an avid hiker & stopped in looking for a pair of trekking poles. I am willing to pay more than on-line to support local businesses. So I searched online and found many, many pairs starting at $39, $49, $59 and so on. Taking this info, I went in asked the owner. He showed me pairs and said these start out at $99. Of course, I know there’s different brands and qualities. But, starting $99. There’s no set of poles that’s going to give me a safer hike for $60 more. Sorry. If you follow their other reviews, that’s their biggest complaint. Way Over Priced. I hope they read these 1-star reviews and re-brands themselves to survive the onslaught of online shopping.Unfortunately, the owner never reads these reviews. One can tell because there are no owner responses to any review.

They offer all of my favorite outdoor brands like The North Face, Patagonia, Osprey, Yeti, etc. The owner is helpful and friendly.They also match online prices.Why buy online and guess at a size when you can get your new North Face coat at a local shop for the same price?If you like the outdoors, this is your place.

The first stop you should make before your Shawnee National Forest adventure. Fair prices and the staff are very knowledgeable about the area. They can cover all your paddle sports, hiking, and climbing needs. Great experience!

Stopped to pickup a guide book for Jackson Falls climbing. Only local shop to carry it, very friendly owner. The store is very well equipped for your climbing, hiking and even paddling needs. Always nice to shop local rather than big box.

Might as well say they dont open until we feel like getting there. Over priced. And the reason they get business isnt because theyre awesome..its because they are the only outdoor/trail/climbing store around. Guarantee if REI was here, they wouldnt be.

Shawnee trails is a great local store. Rick is very helpful and will order you what you want if he doesnt already have it. I was buying Christmas gifts and bought some north face stuff from him instead of at dicks and his prices for the major brands at the same as they are at the major chains. They are very friendly and will help you out with anything you need. They have a wide variety of Birkenstock, north face, Patagonia and all other types of outdoor gear. Highley reccomended!

It was as bad of a place Ive ever been to in my entire life. The the start I was followed around the store like a thief. When I said hey Im looking for a particular type of clothing line. I was told to just leave. And that for my size it would not be in store anyway!
