Nasty place full of drunks!

This is one of our stops on bike rides. They have some really cool clothes and every weekend they usually have an acoustic band or at least someone playing guitar outside. Everyone is super friendly!

It is so convenient to grab something here. They have anything you could need!! The food is AMAZING too!! The customer service is some of the best I have seen, & they have a beer garden too. Whether you want to get some milk, a shirt or bag, or play the slots, it has something for everyone. ❤❤

Nice place to stop and get snacks. Sandwiches and pizza made to order. Beer garden to have a drink and enjoy the weather. Gambling machines if youre into that sort of thing.

The grassy General Store is a Rural Haven! Whether you need to pick up milk and eggs, or a handle of vodka, grassy store has you covered. They also have a beer garden in which you can buy single drinks and enjoy them there among their interesting group of patrons. The owners and employees are helpful and kind. Overall it is such a blessing to have this store in our area.

Rural small town family own store very close to the Interstate 57 & Interstate 24 exchange.  Reminds me of the old general stores we used to have in the small towns before the Walmart takeover & the internet.  This store has just about everything you need & not the stuff you can live without. Perfect stop right before going fishing or that long trip ahead down I24 or I57.  The folks minding the store are down home friendly.

Love this store!! A true ole fashion store with real people that have a true love of neighbor that shows through them as you can feel it shared throughout the store in their voice with true concern for one another and lost strangers as I strolled in their as though I belonged!!!

Enjoyable folks and easy atmosphere. Low prices on purses, fashion and beer. Good place whether you stay for lil while or longer.

We stop by there occasionally for coffee and snacks, nice little convenience store.

Great place to be Friday and Saturday nites with Live Bands!!! Bring your coolers and fill em up right there at Grassy General Store! They have it all for ya.

Pretty good selection. Were from out of town, and it was nice to find so many things that we would need for this week.

Such a wonderful cozy place to stop in to. They have everything you expect a convenient store to have plus way more. Everyone is always so friendly. Great place to just pick up bnb something you need, get a bite to eat or drink a nice cold one and hang out. They also have alot machines!!

Great selection of liquor and beer for being out in the middle of nowhere. The locals hang out here and are friendly when new people come in. It was like stepping back in time, but in a good way!

Convenience, and trustworthy. I visit the store when Im home with my dad, its a great place to run to on short notice and less ofc a hall than trying to go to carbondale gor just a couple items. Great location

Neat little store that carries everything you would need to camp or to stop and take a break from a motorcycle ride, tables and chairs to relax at...Convenient grab and go foods or order something a lil more..

You can get anything and everything here...may as well call it Grassy Wal-Mart! Some stuff is a bit more expensive, but the convenience is worth it. The beer is cold and cheap and they have decent selection of wine and liquor.

Enjoyed the people and ambience of this stop by, fun evening! Very welcoming group of nice folks.

Liquor, beer, ice, general sundries, grocery items, farm fresh eggs, firewood, and a short menu of food items. A few tables indoors and a covered area outdoors where locals hang out and have a beer. Nice overall store, but dont expect a large variety of deli or meat items.

We stayed here during a visit down to do the wine trails in southern Illinois! Everybody here at the campground in a little store was really really great turtle time!
