Pawn shop, always a great place to find odd things for sale.

Amazing selection of almost everything, the employees are so kind, amazing prices for selling and buying. I bought two practically brand new switch controllers and they were a steal for $10 a piece

This place is the worst. I pawned my laptop once and when I got it back someone named “Frank” had all they info on it instead of mine. I told them. Nothing came of it. I tried again to pawn the same laptop and someone erased the whole thing to the point nothing is on it. Nothing. No os, no boot device found, not even the HP logo for the laptop. Never getting my business again. I want to put 0 stars but that’s not an option.

They helped me out with getting cash quickly for pawning my merchandise... The employees were very friendly and they even stayed after hours(like 30-40 mins) to help me pawn my merchandise...

I love finding Black Hills Gold jewelry here! The lay away plan is awesome! Also after removing my ring to try a ring from the case on, I forgot to put my ring back on ... The staff found my ring on the glass case quickly and the manager kept it for me... Honesty, good habits and policies saved my ring. I had given that ring to my mom and she had given it back to me so its very precious to me. Thank you everyone at Midwest Cash!

Went in there a few weeks back, and I will say it did look a little run down in the past, but they remodeled the whole place, it looks really good in there now. I have always loved this place, the prices are really good and fair, and I enjoy the service. They actually make you feel welcome and give off the feel of they are something more than just a pawn shop, unlike most of the pawn shops in the area.

I literally bought all of my kids gaming equipment from there, bikes, TVs, Blu-ray players, I have literally spent thousands of dollars there within a two-year time frame. His service is extremely horrible. Best assistant manager was literally asking his employees on how to do things there is a employee named Aaron that literally looked at me after I asked him what his name was because I was going to give him a good review because he was nice oh, but then he put his hands up and he leans over the counter and says maam I am actually having a good day and I would like to continue to have one so you need to stop with your attitude I said what are you talkin about all I did was ask for your name so I can do a review then he backed up and said I dont have to take this and I refuse to wait on you literally something is wrong. Last year I would walk in the door and I would be greeted by name the service was great and for whatever reasoning on y certain people are now working there is it my business but the company needs to know that they are dragging your company to the ground. Right in front of you they whisper in each others ears what type of customer service is this I used to think Aaron was a good employee I was actually writing a good review about him then I put my phone down and now Im not writing a good review about the whole company

I love shopping at the Midwest Cash in Carbondale. They are all so friendly and very helpful. They are a great team led by Susan.

Part of a chain but still one of family. Each one is uniquely different and this one is no different. It has a large array of collectible items versus other stores along with games, movies, weights, CDs, just about anything you could think, it is in here save for firearms but they still have airsoft guns. The only thing is that here, you will pay for what you buy, they are a bit pricey but they always ensure it works for you. The staff can be a bit slow to notice but they are still kind no matter what. So if you are still deciding whether or not this is a good place to go into, have no doubt for this is a great pawn shop!

Daniellea, Jules, and the other staff are the best! I have been doing business with this store for years! Prices on purchases are great and they are very fair on what they give for pawn loans. Everything I have ever bought has worked with no issue, and I know if something didnt work they would be sure to correct the problem. If you are looking to buy or pawn this is the place to go!

I use this Pawn Shop often always amazing service!! Today however Anthony and Jake went way beyond any customers expectations! I locked my keys in my car and rather than paying a tow truck $50 to unlock my car Anthony and Jake helped me unlock it!! I was not expecting these guys to go above and beyond the call of duty for me. It was sincerely appreciated guys!! Not a positive experience. It was very dirty. A Sales clerk was eating a fast food cheeseburger while processing another persons order. Having a sales person trying to belittle a person because he was a Trump fan. Not very transparent, had their back turned to me the whole time and were whispering back and forth. Also, it took 30 minutes to verify something was real to only be offered pennies. Took my item to tjs jewelry and he paid 3x what midwest offered and I was in the store for less than five minutes. He was also very transparent. Would not recommend and wont go back.

I went 10 years ago and they had a good selection of CD for $3 each. I went again a year ago and CD went for $1 but none good.

This is a very good pawnshop. I visit many shops from TX to CO to Chicago and this is one the better ones. I think the complaints listed on here on from the competitor. Thats poor sportsmanship dudes.

Wont even give it one star. This place is dirty. They take no pride in any of the things they sell, otherwise they would clean up their items and store. Items are overpriced and half the time they cant find the remotes that work with the items. I just turned around and walked out. Dont waste your time here.

Bought a couple misc things here like controllers and hook ups. Make sure you check before you leave. They have a 1 day return policy and Ive gotten games that didnt work. Ive gotten a disc resurfaced there worked great afterwards was a GameCube game.

I had a problem in the past with this store and the owner personally made it right! But now because the manager Susan Mendoza has issues with me from personal life I have had nothing but problems. I was suppose to only pay 250 to get my ps 4 out but Susan says I have to pay 288 bc it rolled over the 21st which was last night but I was told on Friday I could pick it up Monday which is today and it would only be 250..... like the place but they definitely need new management!!! Its worth the drive to go to marion now that she no longer works in marion!!!!!!

Shady liars! I called to check inventory of a game which they said they had in stock and EVEN GAVE ME A PRICE. I got there ten minutes later and not only did they not have the game but they denied ever talking to me. I spoke to a guy with the only guy there with a thick accent so I know it was him, but he swore he never spoke to me.Highly discourage giving your business to this place.

The only reason I am blessed enough to wake up and breath oxygen and eat food is bc of this place. The amount of times Aaron, or A A Ron as we call him, Stacey (literally the sweetest human that was ever born), Ashley (like if rick ross was skinny and super pretty) Dustin and Susan, and honestly the whole 2018 crew and most of the 2017 ppl...the amount of times these ppl worked with me and enabled me to feed myself that day or not freeze to death that night can never be thanked enough. This pawn shop may own me, but it is also the closest thing I have to support or fam in most of southern Illinois. I live respect and cherish everyone of you guys currently employed at Mid west. Susan u really turned the crew in a great direction since Terry jacked my magic cards and dipset. Love you all. They have some overpriced stuff in there. I have seen TVs priced for about the same as you can get at Walmart. One worker tried to sell me a “smart” tv that wasn’t smart at all. I went to Best Buy and got a smart tv for the same price and she was offering. No thank you. Also, I have been in there and the staff was rude to me for no reason other than that I laughed a little when he told me a riding mower was $900. Again, they can be bought new for that much. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Very aggressive sales people, sometimes downright rude. Prices are okay, but not competitive. They do not honor previous quotes (even a day later) and will make up lies if necessary. I will not be taking any future business here, and recommend everyone does the same.

I walked in just curious to see how much I can get for a Sony 40 inch 4k smart tv and immediately walked right out after the young lady smirked at me and said 75$. Retail price is listed about $380 - 475. Seems like that number was pulled from the behind.

It should be considered a felony what they offer people for some things. They try to take advantage of the college students in the area....not me. Talking about $40 for my laptop. smh...Went to the smaller shop up by the amtrak station and was offered $100 on a loan. I know where im going from now on.

I used to shop with these guys all the time. Could sometimes catch a deal here and there. I went there a few weeks back and bought a 32 tv from them. I thought i scored a bargain....What i also got was roaches. This thing was full of them! I had to throw it away. Disgusting!!!!! I will never go back.

More like midwest trash. Their return policy is a joke. Not to mention their store is not clean at all.

I pawned my gold rings and they LOST ONE OF THEM!!!! VERY RUDE AND I PROBABLY COULD HAVE A LAWSUIT ON MY HANDS!! I read the back of the ticket and they have it written so they can loose my stuff and Im just out...WORST PLACE EVER!!!! I TRUSTED THEM WITH MY RINGS AND NOW IM JUST OUT!!!
