For storage: its a bit expensive, but you pay for the location and the climate-controlled storage. The staff is friendly enough...could be nicer? But maybe then theyd be helping clients move stuff, so maybe thats a defense mechanism?

I go here often. They have the best service of any uhaul I’ve ever been to. They always take time to take care of the customer. Store Manager is an amazing guys. Helps you at the drop of a dime.

Tried to get propane tank on motorhome refilled, the man kept telling me it was a DOT tank. That it had to be recertified, I tried to tell he was wrong. He wouldnt hear of it. Worst service from such a knowledgeable man. Got filled elsewhere, the fixed tank on the motorhome is an ASME tank (different rules & regulations)

Its been about a year since I was here but when I did use them they helped me understand every step of the way (I was moving to california). They even gave my husband a military discount which was very generous because not every place does. Very clean and when they didnt have the truck I needed they offered to upgrade me if I wanted (my truck was only an hour late due to traffic).

We came to drop off a trailer after a one-way rental and were helped by a man named Brad I believe. Wonderful customer service, extremely helpful and the process was quick!

Went here to get some moving supply, looks clean and up to snuff. As far as renting, I wouldnt know. Did the rental online and picked Carbondale as the pickup location for the equipment (a truck and car trailer). So I get a call today (Sunday) saying I have to drive to Metropolis, an hour outside my way to get it and they cant do anything about it but maybe cancel. So I suggested maybe get the truck in Carbondale and auto trailer in Metropolis. The answer NO. While UHaul did give me an extra day free to get use the rental do to my time constraints, this is highly inconvenient. Dont know they cant drive there equipment an hour themselves, I mean I am paying near $600. Honestly UHaul, for such a big company, customer service is lacking. Ill be going elsewhere even if it cost more. Convenience matters.

We closed on our house, but didnt remember to get a truck. We called Friday evening on May 26th. They set us one up for 7:30am on that next morning.The manager was super nice and helpful.After returning the truck in the pouring rain on the 27th, I forgot my vehicle key. I called back and the manager said Ill go check and call you back he called back and said it was there and he would wait for me. They closed at 7pm and he was waiting for us for 15 minutes. They were amazing.

They are quick to serve you and conveniently located to Lakeview and a gas station on Irving park and Broadway for when you return the trucks.

Very rude. Didnt look at the notes on his computer. Would never use this or any other Uhaul again. They lost at least 1000.00 in my business. First woman I talked to on the phone kept telling me that the dealer I first talked to lied to me. Reason it got 1 star is because I cant go any lower
