A wonderful little store that carries all your needs. Very helpful staff and a large selection of foodstuffs, clothing, and Maine gifts. Has lots of locally sourced products on sale that encourages support of community farms.

I have always loved this family owned store. Most times you can find what other shops dont have. Produce, fish and meats are fresh. And lobster! Go get your lobster now. Lives fresh lobster yall.

Replace two from night crew.That will tend to the customers not to there time clock. And plesent speaking all the way right out to the door would be greatly appreciated. From a known store.We did not feel not at all welcomed back to Sleepers Store. But have once and felt treated great with a couple other workers on night shift. Thank you Ladys.Hopefully what we experienced, will change for the better and no one else has went throu a repeat of this. Plus more, we did not/never ask for any noise but words only a store worker will only need to say.I will continue to go to Sleepers Store cause I do like the place. Fill in more again. Joe sleeper has been in town here in caribou for almost my entire life and Im 32, hes a wonderful man and the store is great with great prices and is always clean.

If youre from Caribou you know about Sleepers, if youre not from Caribou you owe it to yourself to go to Sleepers. This kind of independent, family owned grocery stores are dying out and need to be supported. Sleepers is so much more than a grocery store, its a full clothing store too. We get all our lobsters here, their ability to deliver is unparalleled anywhere.Where else can you get a whole frozen cod, a frozen rabbit and a pound of chicken gizzards? For random foods you cant get anywhere else Sleepers is it.

We stopped by so my husband could check out the great selection of Levi Jeans. Store owner was very friendly and will to help him. I stayed upstairs to look around. This store has so much to offer. Selections I havent seen in larger stores. Fun to see something I have never seen before.. i highly recommend this well stocked quaint store.PS: only recommended Sleepers to move the markdown carts away from such a busy area, by the check out.

New to Maine. We love the store. The cashier is a young lady I didnt get her name. So friendly. Great choice, great meat.

Sleepers is a local icon. I always enjoy my shopping experience there.

The store that practically has everything. Very friendly family run general store, with a full service butcher shop, fresh live lobster, cooked and cracked for free. Decent selection of fresh produce. Large wine selection. Home made fudge. Various ethnic food products as well, and a bakery with a large freezer section. A large section for women outdoors clothing upstairs and a surprisingly even larger section for men outdoors clothing downstairs. They sell and fit winter sports supplies, such as skis. Prices are fair and seem to be lower than many other stores for many of the grocery products they carry. Clothing could be expensive though, but they seem to have many items on sale.

I stopped in after church just to pick up bottled water & left also with an amazing purchase from the clearance rack for a long searched for Comfort Colors hooded pullover sweat shirt for $15. Thank you Sleepers, blessed I am!!

They are friendly and helpful but selection for extra wide feet was limited to the most expensive work boots 😕

This is a family run store with a very friendly staff. There is alot of merchandise packed into a small store so it is a little cluttered looking. The mens clothing dept. Is downstairs and the smell of fresh Levi jeans and leather boots reminds me of what an old time country store would be like.

I went in because they had hoodies on sale out front, only to realize that they had truly everything I needed there. Saucony sneakers, Patagonia jackets AND Haddock and Lobster. Everything you need. Will be back a lot.

The management and staff are always accommodating. You can tell they focus on quality goods and high customer service. It’s always nice to go in and see the same faces behind the counters. How often do you go into a grocery store and the staff come up to you and ask if you’re finding what you need, or they actually stop what they’re doing to help you find what you need! One time, Senior (retired) came through on his way to check on things. He stopped, asked me what I was looking for, called one of the “boys” to help us and the 3 of us hunted until we found what I needed! Just...wow!

Love the quality of their meats. Prices very affordable. Staff is super friendly and know your name. Always my first choice when it comes to groceries.

The store has good prices on all their products but what I like most is how they make you feel like your part of the family :)

Great friendly staff. Quick to answer any questions I have. Always willing to assist me with loading up my vehicle, which is extremely helpful when I have my children or heavy items. If they dont have something I am looking for the owner is willing to look into getting some.

They have excellent high quality winter wear but we found it very expensive, online pricing is much more reasonable. The staff watched us both (Caucasian senior citizens in our 60s and 70s) like hawks, we felt like they thought we were going to steal, it was very off-putting

We visit The County once a year for one week and our first stop is Sleepers to stock the camper!! The hamburger is the best! We bring as much as I can get in the freezer home with us and treasure every package!!! The store, the staff, how well the place is stocked is all great! Please dont ever change a thing.

I went in for ski pants for my grandaughter. Sleepers was the only place I could find her size. The price was alot cheaper than I was expecting.

Kitch is the keyword here. An amazing array of neat and very useful things. Complete with department store and full grocery store with deli. Good prices too.

Lots of great name brand items here. Also can get groceries too. I bought my first pair of Timberland boots here 2 years ago and still have them. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. I have also heard they have a great meat selection but havent looked at it as of now, thought it was worth mentioning. Store is definitely worth the stop if your thinking about going out in the cold because they have the best winter items Ive seen around here.

The seafood is excellent and the fresh steak is excellent....the service was ok but the cashier was not very open ir friendly

A friendly store. A Caribou place founded in the history of the town. Ok value, nice folks, good merchandise. Well rounded offerings with hard to get items, such as lobster, Carolina boots, red hot dogs, and Bouchards french ploye mix. Their cooks work hard to make a fast prepared lunch and sweet desserts. Try them. I do often.

Staff is always friendly. The prices and selection of products is amazing, especially on meat and seafood. Great County people taking care of County people.

Awesome store, would shop here regularly if I lived up here in Caribou, Maine. Its a must see! Will cook your lobster and clean for eating, for the price of the lobster.
