Thank God for Mike! We drove from Corpus Christi and noticed a lot of slack in the steering wheel, it was a very stressful drive to say the least. When we got to Carlsbad I started calling around, called the first 9 shops that popped up and none of them had time. Luckily I continued searching and found Drilling Break. I dropped it off around 9am and by 11am Mike already had an answer for me. We had to wait until the next morning for the part to arrive, it was a Saturday, and even though they were supposed to be closed Mike had us on the road again before noon! He also got the air bled out of my fuel cooler pump and topped it off. So a big thank you to Mike and his staff for going above and beyond for us, we truly appreciate it.

We came from east Texas and our truck failed us miserably. He got us on the road in spite of our multiple issues and worked to do it as quickly as possible to get us home on time. We made it home and really appreciate all his effort. We got knowledgeable help at an honest price while on vacation. We just wish he lived closer so we could take all work to him.

I could not recommend Drilling Break Consulting Auto Repair more! These guys are fantastic and really saved me! I limped my old RV into town and had a hard time finding anyone who would even return my call. Mike got me in right away and sorted out how to get me back on the road. When another problem reared its ugly head and stranded me 70 miles away in the middle of nowhere in Texas, Mike drove out and got me back on the road again, gave me great advice for further action, and I got home safely. I truly wish I could have stayed in Carlsbad so that Mike could do all the things my RV needs! Fair price, honest, and a real mechanic!
