We are in Carlsbad on a business trip from out of state. I found the address of this shop on line. I am very pleased to find them.Their selection was amazing for such a small shop and I wandered around just taking in all the beauty. I happened to have stumbled in during a shop hop so they were very busy. Not so busy though that the wonderful staff couldnt find time for me. I went in with one idea of something I wanted to do and came out with 3 more.Their prices a very good, better than the big box stores, so I was able to get the supplies I need for several new projects reasonably. They teach classes so I may have to talk to them about a class for a new technique.I will definitely go back on my next trip.

I LOVE THIS STORE!!! Ive been buying beads and making jewelry for almost 30 years now. I can tell you from experience that your not going to find a better bead store with better prices anywhere else. This store has become my home away from home. Everyone who works there is so nice and so helpful. They remembered my name just after a couple visits which is not something you find in many stores around here. My mom and I signed up for one of the classes they offer. Its great because there all one on one classes so you can go at your own pace and not feel rushed or stressed and there SO Affortable which is also a plus. We had so much fun. I would deffinitly do it again. I recommend this store to anyone who loves making jewelry or just starting to learn how to make jewelry. I love this place. I dont live close by, but whenever visiting my friend who lives in Carlsbad, we go and spend forever looking at everything! The family (I think) that runs the place are fun and interesting people and full of skills they are happy to share in quips or classes. Great selection from knowledgeable staff.

I LOVE this darling bead store! Ive been going there over the years and have always enjoyed my visits. The store is family owned and the owners are always on hand to help. Theyre honest, down-to-earth, warm, friendly, funny and very patient with customers. I recently took a class there with my daughter and so enjoyed it! We learned how to make beautiful bracelets together and we so enjoyed conversing with the teacher and the owners. Additionally, their beads and supplies are very reasonable priced.Thank you to Rod, Dee and Melinda Layden...you rock!!!!!

Great shop, but the hours for the store are WRONG on this site: Monday-Friday 11-6 PM (NOT CLOSED TUESDAYS), Saturdays10-5 PM and Sundays 12-5 PM. Its a family-owned and -operated store.

The woman who was working in this store was completely rude, and no help whatsoever. I would never go back!

First time walking in the store and no greeting. Walked around and there was a few people sitting around a table. Found what I wanted but literally not a single person welcoming nor asking if I was ready to check out as I stood by the register. Cool store but definitely will not be returning due to the lack of attention and awkwardness I felt. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unfortunately.
