Hands down, the worst dealership I’ve ever dealt with. I will never buy another vehicle from them. Their service department fails to uphold their commitments and lack basic customer service skills. My vehicle has been at their shop for 3 weeks now. I dropped it off with an appointment to diagnose it 2 days after it’s arrival. It STILL not been diagnosed or touched. When I can get ahold of a service advisor, they can’t seem to come up with any logical reason for the delay. I’ve called and left several voicemails for a service manager and even they won’t return a phone call.

I was traveling from Florida to Carlsbad and had my truck over heat. In Florida they told me to keep antifreeze in it and the part was on back order. When I got to Carlsbad I took my truck into Tate Branch something had to be done. they gave me a loaner truck and got working on my project. They fixed my truck under factory warranty in 1 1/2 days. When I picked up my truck it was the service Lady’s birthday and she told me that see enjoyed her job and preferred to be at work. My words can’t explain how great full I was to have that team on my side!!!!!!Thank you all

This is the second time we have brought our vehicle in for repairs. We hope to not have to come back in again. This is, by far, the absolute WORST dealership Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Our company has used them for multiple maintenance and repair issues, and on multiple occasions they have kept our trucks hostage for MONTHS on end with no contact, no update, and no resolution. We finally had to call them and demand they return a truck to us they swore would be fixed in August to us so we could get it to a competent dealership for repair. What kind of dealership cant get parts for a simple suspension repair in three months?Take your vehicles to Roswell or El Paso. Dont let these con artists screw you.

2 1/2 hours and still waiting on oil change. I have never had a oil change take this long. Truckhas been in there since before 8 oclock.Now 3 hours asked what oil I wanted 5/40 or 15/40. 110 degree heat and they dont know which oil to put in.

I needed a serious repair made on my jeep. The people at Tate Branch did an excellent job, and were quick about the repair as well. Further more, after I had gotten my vehicle back from them, insurance sent them an additional check for an adjustment, and they contacted me right away with a check for the adjusted amount. Honest, professional, and good work. I highly recommend Tate Branch for any service work.

Just bought my 5th Ram truck and this was hands down the EASIEST and FASTEST experience I’ve ever had buying any vehicle! Being so close to the end of the year, it was difficult finding the exact truck I wanted but when I found it at Tate Branch in Carlsbad, it was smooth sailing from there. Aaron “Whip” (a fellow Marine I might add) was great to work with. Whip’s manager (also Aaron) didn’t hesitate to pull all discounts and bonuses I qualified for. They gave the best offer for my trade in as well. We did all the paperwork online and they even offered to deliver it to me in Albuquerque. Anyone who has bought a new vehicle knows that dealerships get pretty pushy with their extended warranties but when the finance manager called us, it felt more like an offer than a hard sale. Probably one of the nicest finance managers I’ve met. I inquired about the truck late this afternoon and after a few phone calls and text messages, the deal was done by dinner time! Again, we’ve dealt with dealerships in Illinois, Kansas City and Albuquerque and this one was BY FAR the best!

Update!!!Any review we made previous to this was uninformed as the deal was not finished.The contract on our new vehicle had a typo regarding the APR. Apparently, due to a significant miscommunication, the number was smaller than it should’ve been. This was entirely unbeknownst to us. We were not made aware of this discrepancy until we thought everything was said and done. Our salesperson sent us a surprise text message about the correction and we were basically called liars when we let the finance manager know we were not previously made aware. We do love the car so we decided to agree with the surprise terms. In the midst of arguing, our finance manager insisted that since our salesperson is a marine corps veteran that he could not possibly be lying. After the finance company received our account, we decided to alter our prior five star review. We received a call about our, now accurate, one star review. We were told they’d work hard to earn back the five stars. Still no call regarding this promise. That was after the GM replied to our initial one star review. After spending $55,000, I would hope for exponentially better. We feel very sour about the entire situation. The only positive is that we purchased a vehicle we love. Do yourself a favor and go to Lubbock or Odessa. The small town oil field mentality is awful!

It was so painless they got me in and out in just a matter of minutes. The entire process took maybe 6 hours. And that was just because when Whip first called me I told him I had been informed that the 2017 Ford Edge was out of my price range according to my lender. But it was just a matter of minutes of i told him that that my lender called me and said she was gonna try to get it approved anyway. Once she did that man everything just fall into place and with a snap of the fingers i had my new ride.

Tate Branch continues to Advertise at one price and upscale the vehicle I was interested in by $20K more. In August the online price was little over $52 but when I got there it was $73K. Now they emailing me saying the online price went down to $53K which is more than it was online 2 months ago. Y’all have a poor selling procedure in place. One of the worst I ever seen.

I was involved in an accident, my truck has been at this Tate branch location since April 21st, it is now May 19th and my truck is still waiting to be worked on. Im stuck here until my truck is ready. Ive called to speak with the service manager twice today and both times I was sent to voicemail. If his return call service is like the shop hes running this all makes sense now.

The service on vehicle was done great and was a lot less than I was expecting to get fixed. When took in my scan of vehicle had 20 plus DTC codes. All fixed now and recall was performed that had just notice 3 days before taken there.

Im one of those people that takes the time to read reviews and although there is good and bad in things, I wanted to take the time to share my experience with readers. I dont own a Dodge but I did need a Mopar product so I had to stop in and check with the parts department. Trust me when I say this, the young lady I believe Kriste is her name, was outstanding! She was extremely polite and attentive to me and my needs. I know that Tate Branch knows that Kriste is an asset to this dealership as her kindness and customer service came natural in my opinion. I hope that she receives recognition as her natural efforts had such an impact on whether or not I will do business with this dealership in the future. Four months ago I took my Grand Cherokee for a leather dashboard repair that is covered by the manufacturers warranty. On the first appt Jessica from the service department clearly told me she would call me to update me on that part. Three months later after no call back I call the dealer several times trying to contact Jessica. When I finally reach her she tells me that due to covid 19 the factory was closed for a period of time. She also told me she was going to call me back. ONE MONTH later and I am still waiting for the call. I get that due to this pandemic things are drastically changing, what I dont get is the lack of professionalism from this lady.

Bought a 2015 200 s from Tate 4 mouths ago. And within those four months the car needed a new transmission, engine had oil leak and tires needed to be balanced. Took Tate branch about 4 weeks to fix didn’t even offer me a loaner. Had to pay to get it fixed and when I got it back car was left on empty and back tire was low and now they say I need new tires but wait there’s more. Only been less then 2 weeks that I picked it up from Tate, now the power steering went out!! Where I gonna get extra money to fix that! Only had car for 5 months. Thank you Tate Branch....

The sales department makes it easy to buy but the service department is difficult to work with. I bought a used truck during the recent sale at Northgate Shopping Center. After only a week of use, the check engine light came on. I called the service department on the 12th day of ownership and scheduled a service. According to the New Mexico Motor Vehicle Quality Assurance Act, they are responsible for repairing any defect that significantly impairs the use of the used motor vehicle that occurs during the first 15 days of ownership. They are refusing to repair it unless I use the warranty I purchased, which is balking at paying also. If you enjoy fighting for your legal rights, welcome to Tate Branch. Otherwise, steer clear of them!Edited on 10/15. It took them nearly 2 weeks but they fixed my truck for no charge which was what I was originally wanting. I would have given them 5 stars if not for the aggravation trying to get them to admit it was their responsibility to begin with.

My truck is down and even with lifetime powertrain they will not fix it. I have taken my car buying business somewhere else and everytime i repost they tend to take it off. Now In the act of getting it fixed, another certified technician sees that Tates service departments workmanship is very poor which left a leak on the trans oil pan and that makes the trans heat up. So far because of their workmanship it has costs me $2879.47. I will keep you posted on the whole outcome

Please do not waste your time here at Tate in Carlsbad. My husband had an appointment today at 6pm to test drive a truck that he discussed with the manager. Once he arrived, they wanted to discuss numbers. He asked to see the truck first, but they said he had to agree to the numbers before they could bring the truck from their sister store. The manager Melissa Britton and sales people acted too tired or exhausted to bother helping my husband. My husband asked how someone can agree to buying a vehicle without even seeing it, and the manager responded, We do it all the time. If you want to be lied to and want to have a bad experience, shop here at Tate in Carlsbad.

It was my first time at this dealership, had read some negative reviews concerning how long customers were left waiting for oil changes. However Lorena advised me that they were trying something different and were scheduling fewer customers. I think its Working for them as the total time I waited was about an hour and a half start to finish. I dont know how many technicians they had working I was told there was one person they were just finishing up with ahead of me. Over all I think they did a good job.

I had a very bad experience. First of all they had my vehicle for three weeks. The first two they didnt even bother to diagnose it until the third week. I was able to use my vehicle on a daily basis until I dropped it off. I paid $1,200 and then they some how drained the battery while it was there for three weeks and wanted me to buy another one. I refused at first because the battery has been just fine before I dropped it off. My husband finally gave in and bought a new one. On top of paying the $1,200 to get it out. Well the truck died on the way home and now it is undrivable. It wont stay running. Now Im out $1,400 and my vehicle is worse off than it was before. I dont recommend this place to anyone!!!

After traveling from Kansas with our Airstream in tow, I noticed my 4WD floor mounted gear shift lever appeared to be disconnected from the transfer case. The Parts Manager was training her new employee, and after helping a few other customers, she crawled under my 2006 Dodge Ram and took photos with her cell phone.She then printed the schematics for the transfer case and explained how to fix the problem.Thanks for helping a stranger from out of town, what a nice and helpful woman. This place deserves no stars..... Worst experience ever attempting to purchase a new car. I went through all the hassles of getting pre approved for a 90k Hellcat RedEye because they had the color I was looking for only to get the run around and have them try to get me to sign a contract and send them cash from out of state for a car sight unseen!! Sign a contract on a 90k car before you get to see it or drive it?? Let me buy a plane ticket to come take delivery of the vehicle only to find out that I would have to wait 48 hours so they can make sure they get the paperwork right. Totally unprofessional establishment. I have bought several new vehicles and never was treated with such lack of respect!! Do yourself a favor and buy any place but here. I should have read the negative reviews ahead of time and saved myself a lot of wasted time. My local dealership will find me the one I want, no games or hassles. Buyers beware of this establishment!!
