Two words.....Incredible experience!!! We shopped all weekend looking for a back up vehicle. Nothing special and didnt want to pay luxury prices for a beater with a heater. Two different dealers wanted to charge over $400 for doc fees and not come down on pricing....Even $500. I understand the times and how supply and demand works. Stopped in Indy Auto Source and hit it off with Craig and Dawn. Two of the most down to earth, honest and reasonable car dealers. Price and sales tax...Thats it!! They even came off $500 without me asking. We bought a 2005 Toyota Highlander with 77k miles from Florida and a 30 day warranty. Yes, I even spent a little more than I wanted because this will last one kid through high school, College and first job. Oh, and dont forget Louis. He thoroughly described the rig to me, I inspected it virtually, We agreed to a fair price, he drove 5 hours to deliver it to me. After the first day it developed engine problems, he stood behind it, spoke with the shop, and paid for the repairs, which were minor. You don’t usually get to deal with an honest, transparent guy when buying a used vehicle. Craig’s the real deal. He’s transparent and trustworthy.

I just purchased a car this past Friday. (August 28, 2020) I drove the car home where it sat all weekend. (Less than 65 miles) i got in it this morning to go to work.. got half way there and the clutch goes out. When I called Craig this morning (the 31st) he immediately said he would pay for a new clutch. Well my finance company wont pay for the car unless he fixes the issue and he is refusing to make it right. He is refusing to refund my down payment and trying to blame the problem on me. I have been driving a stick shift since I was 10 and have never had a clutch go out. The guy seems nice but he is a crook and will take advantage of you. Please dont do business with this company!

Full disclosure - I have had a business relationship with Indy Auto Source through my employer since they opened in 2009.In Oct. 2015 I decided to replace my aging vehicle with a newer, safer vehicle. I found Craig had a fully loaded 2012 Corolla S on his lot and having known Craig and Dawn to be one of the most honest and customer driven dealers on the Northside of Indy I had no doubt I would be well taken care of.Craig was very upfront about the condition and work done to the car. He even pointed out the details other dealers would avoid like that very nice paint on a used car could be an indication of prior body work, and it was. The CarFax he provided revealed a minor rear corner collision, where a quarter panel and paint were repaired at a dealer the year before.I agreed to purchase the car and Craig made the process easy and was very quick about providing any paperwork my credit union needed for the loan.I will be returning to Indy Auto Source in the future.

Indy Auto Source is a great place to shop for used cars. I love my new/used car! There was not any pressure to buy like that of most dealerships. I am really impressed! Gah! These guys are fantastic! Not only are they picky about the quality of car they sell, but theyre fair in price and even helped me (free of charge!) when something (very) minor came up that I didnt know how to fix. Simply wonderful! Craig, Allen and the rest of the crew are simply amazing! I took my 2013 Kia to the dealership and was told I had a bent axel took it to Indy Auto Source for a second opinion only to find out it needed a basic alignment and a new front strut mount. Had a pretty great experience purchasing my vehicle. Craig was - for the most part - easy to get a hold of and when I confronted them about checking out the vehicle I wanted inspected further, they were on it. Absolutely astonished by their willingness to look at the vehicle, have it looked at, and let me take the vehicle to my family friend mechanic to look at too. They are easy to work with to say the least; Luis helped me through the whole ordeal and was a great communicator.Only major downfall, which pertains to just me because of my time constraint on purchasing a vehicle and the time it was taking place, was that Craig, the owner, was not there. I never got to meet him, and when he was coming back into town to finalize my purchase, he was not there due to vacation (although he said he would be there and never communicated that he was going to be absent). I thought that was pretty strange. I ended up calling a lot with no answer, pretty much being a complete annoyance until his wife (Dawn?) answered after the 6th call and helped me. This doesnt mean this will be everyones experience.Another thing: I also was paying in cash for a vehicle, and felt like I shouldve gotten a better deal. My trade-in was doubled what it was worth, so that was really nice of them, but I think they made me pay what it would have been if I was financing. It would have been nicer if Craig was actually there to negotiate, so I did feel a little betrayed on the amount I paid (especially if I didnt have a trade-in).They are still great people, I assume - since I actually didnt meet the owner!

Every time my daughter drives home from school and parks the red Honda Element in the garage, I am reminded of the awesome sales experience we had at Indy Auto Source with Craig Miller and his wife this past summer. So my whole buying experience was totally different from any other used car lot that over bought from. I live in Bargersville which is quite a haul from Carmel. I’ll get to that. When I first showed up he is very personal and treated me like you would treat somebody when you invite them to a barbecue. Very friendly. Did not hesitate to take me to the garage and show me everything on the car including the underside of it which had zero rust . Of course the test drive went really well. After I had decided that I wanted to purchase the Prius I let him know that I had no way to get it back today because I was by myself. He offered to drive the car down to my house which is quite a ways south from Carmel. He drove it all the way down there and then took a Uber back up north so that I could have the car same day. Within the warranty. I had an issue with A pressure sensor in one of the tires did not hesitate to handle the problem. Thank you Craig. I will recommend you To anyone looking for a quality vehicle with quality service

Im not sure who all these other reviewers dealt with but we did not have the same experience. Purchasing the car was easy and they were very nice. However, we had to threaten small claims to get the car alignment bill reimbursed after being told several times over 3 weeks it was in the mail and just found out the wrong size oil filter was put on the car when we changed the oil. Would not recommend and will not go back no matter how great the deal is.

Wife had totaled her 2012 Honda Odyssey and she wanted another and managed to find one here for a great price and great mileage.

Bought a jeep wrangler off them, paid the full price of what they were asking in hopes they would help with any issues in the near future. Came to look at the vehicle twice and it was moved out front for me when i got there. Not sure if it was them trying to hide the oil leak, and coolant leak spots it wouldve had if they wouldve left it sitting where it normally sat. Note that i barely drive this jeep only as a weekend driver, or around town after work. Within the first two months had oil leaking from two different spots and a very bad coolant leak. Asked them if they would help me with it and was told they were to busy. When buying the jeep the previous owner checked the box for incorrect mileage on the odometer. Indy auto reassured me that they made a mistake, and gave me an affidavit for mileage on the jeep to correct the milage on the title when i went to out it in my name. Took it to the bmv and they said thats not something they can do, and it will always be registered as an unknown amount of miles. That absolutely kills the value of this jeep not knowing if it actually has 112,xxx miles or it would have 412,xxx miles. Extremely frustrated with the whole situation and wouldnt do business there again or refer anyone there. I went to them because of the mostly good reviews and get screwed over.

They sold me a car for basically what they payed for it, were super cool, the place is awesome inside, and they even mailed me a part to fix a door lock that quit working with a check. If youre looking for something different, this is the place to go!

Purchased an 05 Vette from here low mileage, cash. Get it back to Michigan and in one months time Im already out $1300, if this car was properly inspected, according to the dealership, these issues would have been caught. Not a happy camper, oh yeah the car is back in the shop again for a bad ECU of course not covered under warranty

Had my car for 4 months. It has broken down and had to be towed 3 times. After finding out today that this new repair will cost over $700 I will have put about a good $1200 in the car in 4 months. This was supposed to be a good reliable vehicle. Seeing has I paid $5000 For my car. Im absolutely devastated. And constantly have to worry what part is going to break next.

Purchased a Toyota prius from Craig and indy auto. Car looks pristine, says he tries to make most of the purchases personally, very knowledgeable, no pressure tactics. Doesnt really negotiate on price so dont expect it but I still feel like a got a great car at a fair price. The car came with a very thorough car fax report and I believe all of his cars have a carfax? Test drove it and purchased same day. They offer reasonable financing as well. I would buy from them again.

Used car lot in south side Indy. Car was filthy inside and out, nothing like it was advertised. Tried the high pressure slam as soon as i said no, they had no clue i was a retired sales pro. Wont be back.

A 5 star dealer realy, this guy Craig is a real liar i bought a 03 red cadillac seville, and he said that every thing was good to go for sale, it was stated in the listing that all vehicles are inspected, a nother words they go thru all cars and make sure there is nothing it needs like break pads or any thing like that, well It would not pass inspection it needs break pads in the front, and there is something wrong with the emission on it, i paid $5500 for a 15 year old pig, I am sure he only paid about $1500 at the auction for the pig car, no dont trust this so called 5 star idiot dealer, do not buy from this rip off.
