My husband and I had a great experience today! The owner was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We love that he is a skater himself, you can definitely tell this is a true passion of his. There were all kinds of options for the trucks and wheels we needed. We will definitely return for any skating items we need. So happy to support a local business like this!

Justin was extremely nice and helpful getting some safety equipment for my 6 year old son. We had already purchased a cheaper board since he just started 2 days ago. Justin helped him customize the one we got with some new grip tape and a couple stickers. He then told us about a skate park just down the road. Excellent customer service!

Awesome skate shop, they relocated their store into a new space but it is still close by. I have bought multiple boards and parts from here, employees are always helpful and nice.

The owner, Aaron, of the shop is very helpful. When we came in we knew nothing about skateboards. He gave us all the information we needed. He showed us his inventory including helmets and safety gear. We were very impressed! 5 stars!! We love our new skateboard.

I thought I needed better bearings for longer distance but the manager educated me today and explained they had wheels for distance, made with with same material as long board wheels. They’re amazing. I love this shop and I stop here just about everyday now

Great shop! Excellent customer service. Brought my 8 year old son in to pick out/build a new skateboard. Aaron helped him pick out everything he needed. He was patient and sure to explain each piece that he was picking. We will continue to shop here for all of our skating needs.

We made a casual visit to Aarons shop this week. My son is interested in skateboarding, and I know nothing on the subject. We werent in a place where we were looking to make a purchase necessarily, but Aaron treated us like a future customer and took the time to run through bearings, tracks and wheels and the aspects to think about based on the type activities he would be doing. We really appreciated that time, it made a memorable impression.The shop is a bit easy to miss. Not a knock, I just missed the vertically oriented sign and nearly drove off. For other customers, (at the time of this writing) it is next to a closed Bakery shop, and the sign at the pitch of the building is The Serene Core

Aaron runs a great shop! My son is getting into skating and I was unsure where to get a board. After finding out this skate shop is in town it was such a great surprise. The selection is really nice and the prices are where they should be. I’d highly recommend going here over ordering any skateboard online or from a big store. Better service, selection and value.

Drove in on a Sunday from about an hour north for my son’s 14th birthday. He was so surprised and was in heaven! Gentlemen behind the counter was very knowledgeable and helpful, and even recommended a close skate park to visit! He assembled and setup the deck in about 10 mins while we watched. Great place, plenty of variety, and awesome staff! We’ll be back in for all of our supplies! Kudos!

Ive been interested in skating for a long time but never took dive into learning. Coronavirus has me stir crazy so I figured now would be a good time to learn. Aaron and other staff (sorry I didn’t catch names) were very friendly and helpful and down to earth. Even though we are new skaters they never talked down to us and helped us pick out everything we need for our first boards. I definitely recommend this local skate shop. They know their stuff and will get you set up insanely fast too. Definitely recommend these guys and will come back for all my skating needs

Just to echo the others. I took my son here and had a great experience. My son had never stepped on a board. This place gave him some good tips on how to start and got him set up with solid entry level equipment. They were as concerned for his safety as I was. We will be going back.

I was bored during COVID and wanted to get a board again. Aaron, the owner, was great. Helped me pick everything I needed and built the whole board in about 10 minutes. Would definitely recommend this shop.

I normally dont go out of my way to write reviews, but I definitely felt like I needed to after our experience there today. Our 12 year old son has been begging us for a good skateboard for a while now. So we found the Minus Skateshop through Google, and decided to get him a gift card for Christmas so he could pick out his own custom board. When we went in to buy the gift card, the young man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful with explaining to us how much we needed to spend to set him up with a good board.We went back today so he could build his board. We were a little intimidated, because we had no idea what we were doing. They were very patient and friendly helping him pick out all of the pieces and parts he needed to stay within his budget. They never made us feel dumb about not knowing something, and they took to time to show us what to look for and why.I just cant say enough good things about them. Its a great local business to support!
