Ive used in the past and have mostly been pleased, even overlooking mistakes. However, in a recent order in which they overcharged a significant amount, I received zero replies to my requests. This is a very poor way to do business. Communication, respect and prompt problem correction for customers is vital.
I ordered an order of strawberry and fig scones. Whoever made them doesnt know what a scone is!! They looked more like cookies and had very little flavor!! I also get an order of chocolate/almond biscottis! The outsides were dark and they had a burned flavor!! Very disappointing!!!
As a newcomer to central Indiana, I was leary of this delivery service, but it has FAR SURPASSED my expectations. The quality of goods is excellent, everything fresh (lettuce puts the big box stores to shame), meat/eggs/dairy are DEFINITELY worth the extra money. The sale items are not inferior in any way.Delivery is prompt, well-packaged, and recyclable.I highly recommend Market Wagon!!
Terrible customer service. They originally promised my order would be here on Thursday. The order never arrived and they then proceeded to schedule it for a week out. I contacted them since if a delivery from a near by location is gonna be a week out I’d rather just get it myself. Originally I was just hoping they reschedule me closer to my original order date. They sent me an email promising they would contact me within 24 hours to help me with my problem. It’s been a day and a half and they still have not reached out to help me. I know a day and a half isn’t that long, but if you’re going to promise to help me within 24 hours, you need to help me within 24 hours. Quiet honestly it seems lazy.
I have been using MW for a couple of years now and love the variety of fresh and local products. However, their delivery service leaves much to be desired. Anymore, there is almost always something damaged or missing. I understand things happen sometimes, but their recent track record is trending toward things happen every time. Not good. Usually its smashed eggs or meat thats not cold, but this week was a new one. The milk I ordered came looking like it had been in a head on collision. The bottle was fractured all over. Shortly after taking it out of the bag the cracks gave all the way...milk everywhere. Drink milk with possible glass shards in it? No thank you. And I needed it for a Thanksgiving recipe that requires fresh milk, which is hard to find, so now Im in a pickle.
Like the fact that they deliver! I ordered the Mac and cheese tray,had bacon or ground sausage on top. Suppose to be 4 cheeses and be really creamy. It hardly had any cheese at all and was swimming in grease. We drained and drained the grease off to the tune of 1 cup plus 4 tablespoons that leaked out of all over the cookie sheet. THAT WAS A HEART ATTACK LOOKING TO HAPPEN!😭Needless to say, it went into the trash.$19.95+ $5.95 for delivery. NEVER AGAIN. YOU MAY PICK UP YOUR BAG ASAP. WILL NOT BE ORDERING ANYTHING AGAIN.

First order was great! Good product, great prices. Second order not soo good. Same items I purchased before but almost 3$ more? When I questioned it, no answer? 1/2 of my tomatoes were rotten to no use, my salad mix was more like stems. When I tried to report something was wrong, the link didn’t work. So I tried to email directly which I had good luck on my first order, no reply. I’m bummed this happened to me as I love to support our local farmers and receive fresher produce. Maybe the company can improve in this area of things.

These folks are selling outdated meat. I ordered on 7/25/19 and received a several packages of sausage marked 5/2018 from Becker Farms. After calling I was given a story it had been frozen....but it was supposed to be fresh as advertised. It was also not frozen when I received it. That is misleading at best and illness causing at worst. BUYERS BEWARE! Dont believe the friendly local spin they are trying to sell you. They blatantly lied and have so far refused to take responsibility. I was told I would receive a refund but still have not as of 8/8/19.Here are some quotes directly from Ryan Thomas the Director of Operations with Market Wagon via his official Market Wagon email...You are absolutely right. I will reach out to Kyle at Becker Farms and ask why 13-month-old meat is being sold without explanation. It is perfectly safe to eat but its a bad perception.After a follow up because no refund had been received I got this...I spoke with Kyle about the dates. He advised that the year dated meat was perfectly safe to eat and he put them on a very deep discount to get them out before they went to waste. He stated that it was noted in the description that these were a year old and that is why they were 75% off.After sending a screen shot that proved this was incorrect and there was no such warning in the description I got this reply...I apologize. I was going off his word. Our vendors sell directly to you. Just like at a physical farmers market. We dont have the staff to inspect every item so its on the honor system. Just like a physical farmers market. Were a small start-up that is working hard to do the right thing. Im sorry you are upset. You have been fully refunded so I am going to consider this matter closed.As of 8/8/19 a full two weeks later still no refund had been received and Market Wagon didnt seem to care and was bold enough to consider it a closed matter when I had still received no refund. Lousy customer service. They are the ones packing the items in Market Wagon bags for distribution so how can you not notice things like expired products? It seems this is an avenue for sellers to unload old and outdated products with no recourse for consumers.Purchase at your own risk.
This is so awesome. I just discovered this service and placed my second order. I didnt know about it before. Everything is so fresh, as it comes from local farms and it doesnt need preservatives or to travel weeks.
