I drove several times by this local gem 💎 but never stopped by and finally did this morning. My husband and I were amazed at the delicious taste of the coffee, the breakfast sandwich and the muffins. Dolly is an amazing owner who takes great pride in her coffee shop. This was our first time here and we most definitely will be back. Thank you ❤

It was quite slow when I visited so I was expecting Customer Service to be better, it could use improvement, location and decor was nice. Mentioned “Goodday Sacramento” but didn’t get the 10% discount as mentioned on the tv segment-which isn’t a big deal but just wanted to throw it out there. Latte was a little on the sweet side but the grilled cheese sandwich was pretty good. Is it good enough for me to return though? Probably not.

Its locally owned, which is good. I havent tried their cheese selection. They get their pastries from a local donut shop, which seems kind of weird.

DELICIOUS grilled cheese sandwiches, 100% worth the drive down from Auburn! Hubby and I were left with happy food babies. Love the atmosphere and look even with the seating up. The hot sauce is flavorful with a good short burst of heat that wont scorch your face off but itll make your nose run. Lady behind the counter was hilarious and all smiles.

Great customer service and food was amazing! Very accommodating for vegetarians let me switch meat to vegetables and add avocado! Coffee is delicious. I will definitely come back again.

Wow, what a yummy place to get the best grilled cheese sandwich in town! Today I had a Tony Saprano Grilled Cheese Sandwich at Fast Cat Coffee and was impressed with the melted cheese and how the meats stayed juicy and the sour dough bread was grilled with butter leaving my grilled cheese sandwich with a nice brown grilled crunchy finish that made my grilled cheese crunch to the bite thanks to Dolly using the real stuff butter. I hope with in the year to try all of the grilled cheese sandwiches why you ask because, I own a gym membership! I really like coffee too! The pastries are great too! You can have all your grilled cheese and other grilled sandwiches made to perfection by the owner Dolly. Now off to the gym I go.

Race car themed coffee shop offers a great variety of coffees and teas (served hot or cold) with flavors like peach, vanilla, Mexican spice, bubbling seltzers and more. Will definitely go back! Staff is super friendly.

Creative menu, high quality food and drinks. Interesting and eclectic concept and decor. Owners were friendly. They were fairly busy. But didnt skimp on service. Will definitely be back.

Loved finding this place on our visit to Sacramento. Great vibe and good coffee!

I purchased one great coffee, with a smooth taste and rich in flavor. Service was superb, and I tipped $2.50 just because we all could use a little help in recovering from some of our 2020s losses. Lastly, the location is a little tucked away from the street and I noticed the word coffee on the exterior wall as I drove by. So, I quickly flipped it and it was definitely worth it. My only suggestion for Fast Cat Coffee is to invest in a sidewalk sign that uses bright Orange, Pink or Yellow letters for the word Coffee...

Have been driving by this place for the past year and have never stopped until today! Have to say I was quite impressed with the great service, coffee and food! The gal at the counter was very welcoming and offered some suggestions which I followed and was great. Will definitely be coming back!

I needed a little caffine boost mod afternoon so I searched for a local coffee place since I am also a small business. I asked the barista how creative she is and asked for something espresso based and cold. She gave me a blueberry Mexican mocha. Nice strong espresso and tasty.Thanks.

Food is great! Coffee not so great… I was very excited to try the cherry mocha and it tasted like burnt espresso 😭 hot chocolate was very bland and served to us cold.

The BEST breakfast sandwiches AND coffee AND pastries! Everything this woman makes is made from heaven! We’ve had the carnitas sandwich every time because it’s so good! My partner and I share one and it easily fills us up and wash it down with the blackberry mocha and the coconut latte! Oh and I have to treat myself to the cream cheese scone! Sooo hard to refrain from grabbing one every time I’m in there! Hands down best coffee shop in the Sac area!

I had stopped for coffee here a few times and it was good. But I saw they serve lunch. Their specialty is Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. So I stopped again for lunch a couple days ago.LOVE ITI had the pork and green apple. Simply fantastic.This place has way better grilled cheese than any other around. And the variety is enormous.Do yourself a favor and go get a grilled cheese sandwich.I recommend

My partner and I are fans of a good mom and pop coffee shop, and this one did NOT disappoint! The co-owner who assisted us suggested the mexican mocha, and my girlfriend ordered an mint green tea. Both were prepared fresh to order and had great flavor, with no modifications needed. The customer service we received was excellent, we chatted as she prepared our beverages, and she gave us a little history on their shoppe. We will definitely be back!

Owner knew exactly what my friends wanted and how to make it. Most people have a hard time making my friends coffee the way she likes it and will drink it. Owner made it perfect for her, normally my friend only drinks half of her coffee.... this time she drank it all!!!

Really great place for coffee and grilled cheese sandwiches. We got a tony soprano and the brisket from savory, and for my honey and strawberry grace from sweet. I think the tony sorprano was my favorite, but they were all really good. The iced mexican mocha was also delicious. Really glad I found this place and will definitely be back to try more

I LOVE coffee so I was excited to see a new coffee place in the area. I had the dark mocha with some caramel and it was delicious! And I also tried the midtown morning breakfast sandwich and it was so good. My kids each had a donut which they loved but when my sandwich came they immediately wanted some too. Great place with cool art and car themed atmosphere. And as soon as I walked in the owner was immediately welcoming to my family and I and this is a huge deal these days don’t get that same kind of service always. Can’t wait to try more items on the menu and bring our friends and family!

Just went back to the place early mid-Tuesday morning for the first time, since it closed a couple months ago, Nice to see it re-opened~! Met Bobby, & listened to his story, & the place has only been open 10 days. Sorry to hear about the previous owners unfortunate issues, & he’ll be remembered. Bobby’s got the place up and rolling and is a great re-vamped place, & the coffee is GREAT. Seriously. I feel it’s far better than the previous house coffee. Hoping to make it by weekly, & am telling persons about it, too, including motorcyclists, as he has stylishly themed with car & motorcycle (Yes!!) paraphernalia. Would be nice to see him get a beer & wine license, & created an equally enjoyable evening atmosphere! Such a cool place!

Great food good service

Tried the Tony Soprano and the brisket sandwich with the tomato soup. I liked the sandwiches but I didnt find they set themselves apart enough to travel 30 minutes to get. Their tomato soup on the other hand was the best Ive ever had. If they had more soup with that flavor I think I would drive there more often for sure.

A coffee shop I would pass by so the time but decided to actually try it. I found that this coffee shop being a 4.6 rating isnt one of the top search results in google maps for coffee.I like to base my coffee with a cinnamon roll but it seems like they offered healthier choices with pastries, the cranberry scone that I had was bland didnt really have a good taste to it. There was no other customers and almost left without my scone. Person was knowledgeable and would come back to try other coffee drinks but would be hesitant to try other pastries.Great tasting coffeeReasonable prices

Our first visit here since the change from Boulevard. Good herb tea ~friendly staff. Not enough time to try the sandwiches, but will definitely put it on my to do list as the descriptions were mouth-watering.

My wife and I LOVE this place. The dark mochas are delicious but the grilled cheese sandwiches are wonderful. Every time we come here we leave happier than we arrived. The Wake-Up in Guanajuato is one of my favorite sandwiches EVER!

Went in for a monday brunch with the fam. This was a first time in for me, as well as my party. The food took a bit of time on a non busy day, but I related that to a slight issue with the register that delayed our purchase. I love the fact that you can pick your cheeses and substitute items on their signature sandwich, as I dont eat meat and a lot of their menu items had meat. The sandwiches themselves were very good, piping hot and slightly greasy due to the natural nature of grilled cheese. Everything had a nice flavour, and the coffee was also very good. I couldnt help but feel a pang of sadness though, walking around in the skeleton of my once favourite coffee shop: Boulevard. This place, to me, lacked the quirky charm and coziness the boulevard once had. I didnt really feel welcome here, it was so... quiet. Static. It would be a nice place to eat a meal and do some studying, but not the kind of place Id relax or chat with the baristas.All and all a nice warm meal. Not exemplary food or service, but good enough to enjoy and write a review about.
