The staff at this location were nice, but don’t trust the online availability of products. I placed an online order at 2pm for 5 items, all only available at the Carmichael location, 30 min from me. Adjusted all my other errands to that area waiting for the pickup confirmation which came in at 3:45. 15 min later while I’m in line for my order I received an email telling me 3 of the 5 items are canceled and refunded.While in-line another guest was overheard asking about inaccuracies in product availability as well and told that all product in store was already on the floor.

Checked out some couches and furniture here. There are some very inexpensive couches here. The items are good.

Some deals. Items change due to stock . worth checking what they have from time to time. Also every few months they have a 20% off sale thats a great deal if you find a lot of items or a larger item

My Mother purchased some items that she could not transport in her little car. Staff held the items until I could arrive the next day with my truck. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I needed a new side trimmer for landscape trimming. I found one at great price. This is the biggest Big Lots store in the greater Sacramento Area.

I guess the store was big. I didnt see any lots, but it had a bunch of different things for sale.

Charges more than the other big lots here in Sacramento for the same product . Sold me expired goods as well. Check your labels if your pressed for time give yourself a little extra to verify expiration dates and product pricing. Beware

I’m torn with my experience. Everyone was so helpful to me especially the furniture manager. However when I went to check out another associate was starting a return transaction with another customer. Her name was Paula. When the customer approached her he handed her 2 items and was very clearly having trouble communicating. He either was hearing impaired or didn’t speak English very well. He repeated himself multiple times. I heard and understood what he was saying but she made multiple comments that came off very rude. At first she said what are you wanting from me. His very young sister then stepped in and said he needs to return these it doesn’t work. She said in a negative tone do you have a receipt. He said yes hanging in the box in your hand. She handed it back and said you get it out. I don’t know what you want unless you clearly tell me. She called a manager after she couldn’t do the return and asked the you v man 3 times if this was his receipt and told him it wasn’t the right receipt. The manager came up to do it and was very helpful and polite. When the manager saw him she processed the return with no issues. Paula’s demeanor changed as soon as the manager arrived to help the customer.

Gurlfriend Vanessa was very helpful n assisting me with my choice of furniture. Went as far as to help pick out xtra pillows for my couch. All while helping other customers an her team members. Shes gd at multi tasking. Even though she was busy with customers she had the eyes of an hawk to keep the store safe from thieves.Will is a great guy as well. He took great care of me explaining everything when filling out an application. Will also called other stores to get the items I wanted. Making everything go so smoothly.It was a pleasure dealing with both Vanessa an Will.

No joke, about 8 people in line, one register. Asked the cashier if they could call someone up to help open some more lines and he said he was the only one because everyone else called off. Thing is durning that time i spotted 3 other staff just walking around. I am sorry but that is some poor managing where ever that person was. Seriously the plan for a Sunday is one register with the rest of the staff just floating around. Expect this for a dollar store, not big lots. * the pic is some of the other staff just chilling on the bottim floor with no customers while there is a huge line with one register open in the other room. Pretty shameful imo*

Very unprofessional! Went in on Tuesday looking for a fire pit. Found the one we wanted and talked to the very nice lady who told us that the floor sample was the last one they had but she had spoken with the manager and we were free to buy it. There was a small crack so she had the price adjusted and we were set to come back later that week with a truck to purchase and pick it up. Upon arriving on Friday we were gretted with an extremely unprofessional employee or manager. She never introduced herself so i am not sure who said that we could not purchase the piece. When asking why she said she was deadass serious about this. She then walked off without even providing any explanation other then we were out of luck. Terrible experience will not be back.

Most often a good experience based on today giving them only 3 stars. I usually find more than what I go for but yesterday it got way too crowded. When I arrived around 1pm number of customers not bad but after getting a cart full of items the store & checkout line had way too many people checkout alone had maybe 40-50 customers waiting. I had to leave my cart asked if I could come back later to purchase items store personnel said yes. Went back at 9:30pm, before they closed at 10pm, unfortunately my cart was gone they had put items back cashier said they only hold for an hour or so- no one told me that. Glad store was almost empty hurried retrieved items I wanted & made my purchase.

I can always find more things in this store to buy!!

Love Big Lots in AZ and still love Big Lots in CA! My favorite thing about the store is all the cute home decor selections. Even if it is a quick browse it feels nice to know what style is trending for my home!

I love shopping at big lots! They always have what Im looking for. I buy a lot of grocery items here that are much less than at the grocery store. They have things I need for my home and also a great place to buy gifts because they have things other stores dont. The lines sometimes are a bit of a wait but with the money I save shopping there its worth it!

Very skeptical trying out this location but I was taken back after Sean helped me with my visit. The vibe in the store was Dont talk to me *angry look* Was having a difficult time understanding the leasing program. Asked a gal for help and she ended up calling Sean over and he made it clear. (It was obvious the gal new what the program was because he kept asking her for confirmation and questions) Either way, if it wasnt for Sean I wouldnt even return and just stay put in my location I already go to

This is a nice Big Lots store. Plenty of selections on the shelves and a nice size furniture department. It is clean with nice workers who actually know where certain items are in the store or if they have it in stock. I will definitely shop there again.

May 22, 2019 at 2:31p call for an item check.Employee that answered was rude & found it funny I Expressed I that I may need to speak with someone who was willing to check.Management should screen closely who they have assist with customer service to deliver satisfaction.Recently made a large purchase of a livingroom set with all the trimmings. I was calling to check items to begin my bedroom. I was looking to redesign my bathroom, bedroom & kitchen with the Carmichael location but Id rather look for another location to meet my needs with better customer service.No tolerance for rude service.

We bought a nice recliner for $300. It is wide enough for my wife or I to sit in and a dog to be on the side of us. We were looking for a cheap and wide recliner. They had one!

One of my stalkers work here, they know about it, and refused to fire the employee.

Great service. I bought a small table from the furniture dept and I am very pleased with the customer service. The table was fair quality for a good price. Most furniture is on display. When you purchase you will need to assemble. But its nice to be able to see and touch the furniture before you buy

This place is the best for fantastic deals on everything from health and beauty, to furniture, to snacks. The associates are beyond helpful as I was asked if I needed assistance numerous times to include the names of the associates. Eventually, when I did have a question, I was taken to the 3 different areas I could find the item. I left purchasing more than I planned because the prices are that good!

We came to pick up some furniture for a friend and it took 1 hour for the guy to load the 4 items we were picking!! We also did a purchase while we waited for loading to be finished and cashier was super friendly and fast, place seems well organized but definitely needs more personal at the furniture department.

Prices are Low for the most part.. Reward Card members get Cash Coupons every third purchases.. Store is always Clean and Bright.. Employeesare Friendly and Helpful..

Fairly impressed! Though. BigLots has been more of a lower end Walmart, this location really did impress me. The store was clean and organized. They were connected to their own furniture store? Very impressive growth since the last time I stopped I to a Big Lots location. If youre in the area stop by. Even if you dont intend to go shopping, at least take a look at how the company (at this location) has kept itself in check. Good visit.

I visited this location due to them having an attached furniture only area. I was looking for a blender and an easy chair. I left with neither. This location is on the edge of Carmichael and the area seems a bit rough. This location seemed to have a few choices of a lot of things. Its a good place to check to see if you can score a great deal before you go to Walmart or Target.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and helpful plus the prices are reasonable.

Prices not as low as they used to be, but that is across all stores. This store, including bathrooms, was cleaner than most and 3 very helpful clerks assisted me. That was unusual in these types of stores and i commend them for great customer service. Selection of goods was standard.
