Where did my bases go?Okay so May 24th my wife & I went to American Mattress Carol Stream & purchased two Sealy Brampton Series twin XL matresses with two Sealy 3.0 adjustable bases. The only thing not ready / available was one of the mattreeses (out a few weeks due to foam shortage) but was still within the expected delivery date; okay not a big deal.Charlie, who runs the Carol Stream location, was always nice and conscientious about contacting us about the order status, so points for that. However the call(s) were then followed up with additional calls informing us about delays; one such call was to inform us that the other mattress came in but the bases we bought were gone (???). At least Charlie was concerned about servicing the client and accommodated us with an additional discount due to the delay.Two months later, our purchase arrived without issue; the delivery crew were great.The reason for three stars is this:Good sales personGreat productId still really like to know what happened to the bases that were originally allocated to our order which caused the hold-up of order delivery.

Box spring we got was broken and expensive. We thought it was the mattress so they replaced it and we paid more for a different one. New mattress was worse and finally figured out it was the broken box spring. They wouldnt replace it without pictures and talking to a manager. The box springs here are garbage...alot of running around to pay more than we wanted and end up with a mattress that wasnt what we picked.

I recently moved and i needed mattress for my bedrooms, i shopped here before, so i came back, mostly because of the salesman Ron, he is very professional, friendly and his giving the best deals possible.... i will definitely come back !!!!

I have been working with Ron the past month, on a purchase I made a year and a half ago- before he was there. The bed was having issues, and we decided to start a warranty claim. I initially called Ron and he got on it right away. The company had made a software switch a year ago, and they ended up losing some records of peoples transactions. He went above and beyond and even contacted the auditor! They use a third-party inspector company for the warranties, and when my warranty inspection came back not what we wanted- Ron jumped on it right away. He was very responsive and followed up consistently. He never gave up. American Mattress ended up reimbursing me my original purchase amount- outside of the warranty claim. They had made a judgement call. This process took a month, but the fact he had called me at least once a week and followed up...made me confident that he was doing his job well. We ended up taking the credit and applying it towards another mattress from this company. And of course, we specifically wanted to buy it from Ron. He took care of us. He took a potential frustrating event, and turned it into stress free. I cant wait until Friday for my new NEW mattress with nothing out of pocket. I appreciate Ron going up to bat for me in front of his superiors. In the end, he will have a repeat customer!
