Easy in & out if you need a hotel right at the airport. It’s perfectly convenient. Their COVID check in has facial recognition to determine your temp & the hotel was very clean. Front desk was friendly & helpful. The rooms are mostly updated & the bed comfy. Their breakfast starts at 5am, which is in part why I booked this accommodation. With an early flight it seems they have the earliest breakfast start time & it’s hot, however it’s impossibly disgusting. Stick with the toast! Even the bacon tasted gross. I had 1 bite of eggs & 1 bite of pancakes. I think it’s all frozen & reheated. Very bad even for free! They claim the rooms are sound proof, but they are not!! You can hear the planes, which actually are pretty muted, but the walls in between the rooms are thin. You can hear your neighbors & anyone in the hallways all night long.If you’re a sound sleeper with a strong stomach & need an easy place to sleep this isn’t a bad choice for 1 night, however it’s very overpriced, I assume due to it’s convenience.
Pretty straight forward. The covid inspection went better than expected, Even though the website to get it done in advance is jacked up. Dont make a mistake on it where you cant go back and change it later! The signs for the pickup for different company shuttles and needs to be larger and clearer.
Rooms were small, a/c works well and great breakfast. Good for overnight stay before flying to BVI next day.
Would not recommend. If you are like me, you are debating between having the convenience of staying at the airport hotel rather than Ubering to a different hotel before/after flight. I wish I would have stayed elsewhere. We found a hair in our sheets as soon as we arrived and inspected our bed. Other minor things like being provided one single washcloth (2 in my reservation) and the room being so small also made me regret my choice of picking the hotel. I read other reviews stating the breakfast was good. It was not. Just have no expectations if you book this hotel.
Positive: Nice room upon arrival. Negative: Room didnt get cleaned not restocked on towels and soap, especially with COVID-19 no soap to wash hands is horrible. No access to anything the restaurant they provide is limited and once closed you have nothing. No shuttles or anything
I checked in at 9:45 pm for an 8:30 am departure and they wanted to put a $100 hold on my credit card for ‘incidentals’ after I paid $258 for less than a 12 hour stay! Only because I couldn’t get home and was traveling alone would I ever spend so much. I fought the hold and won. Then I get to the room and there are long black hairs all over the shower and towels. Gross!!! I’ll never stay again and will never recommend this place to anyone!
I gave it 1 star because I had to, but I would give it a negative 20 if I could. I never made it to San Juan Bc of mechanical problems with the airline. I called spoke to the front desk personnel, they told me I’d be refunded I just needed to call the third party I booked through. Called the third party, request was sent to San Juan airport hotel, they denied it after already telling me I’d be refunded the day of my trip. I called to ask why I was still charged $210, they said there’s a no cancellation policy, but again when I spoke to the front desk the day I was supposed to be there they assured me I’d be refunded. Stealing money from you is apparently what they strive for. I’d rather stay on the airport floor than this hotel. Zero compassion or empathy. They are just looking for your money, regardless of the what’s going on with traveling at the moment.
5 stars for its purpose. Perfectly utilitarian. Clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff.
Had to make a last minute check in and it was very convenient that the hotel was located in the airport 5 mins away from the counters. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and kind. Breakfast was good and available from 5am. The room itself was what took away stars and the price WOW!. The bathroom shower was odd; the tub floor sank when I stepped into it; you’re next to the airport so every 10~20 mins you hear the TSA notice “do not leave your bags unattended” so prepare for that during the night; you hear the flights.I have to admit the bed was very comfortable! There’s also a deck that’s a bit tired but fun and my room allowed me to see a beautiful sunset.
The staff didn’t ignore my situation. I was stranded needing a room, going through several unforeseen changes flying with spirit airlines. This team at San Juan airport made my issue their issue. From checking in, to the cleanliness of my room, to extending my stay and dealing with management, The team made my stressful day go away. Everyone was so friendly and willing to help. The receptionist didn’t get frustrated with my special requests, instead she was patient and helpful with finding a solution. The breakfast staff ensured the milk, cereal and juice were full along side the pancakes and bacon. My omelette was delicious thanks to the chef who prepared it. Managment is doing an Awesome job working along side the team. Overall this experience turned out great ! I’m very pleased with my stay at San Juan Airport Hotel and would recommend it to all whom fly in !!!
The staff was was great and the check was fast. The room are simple, clean? and neat. I do not recommend the restaurant. Although the staff was great the food was horrible. I waited almost an hour for overcooked food. There are plenty of other options in Carolina on Isla Verde Blvd.
This was supposed to be a convenient option but turned out to be quite inconvenient due to unhelpful hotel staff and very expensive policies regarding late checkouts. I had a faulty piece of equipment in the room and notified the front desk upon checking in - it took them eight (8) hours and a 2nd phone call to replace it. I inquired about a late check-out (one additional hour) and was told it would be a $50 charge! I asked if they were booked and they said No, its just our policy - if you want to stay longer, it will cost more. You dont find these kind of policies in the mainland States.I will never stay at this hotel again.
Let me first start by saying that the staff is the highlight of the stay here. They’re extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is clean and I just can’t tell you enough that I kept running into really nice people who work at the hotel. The only downfall to the hotel is YOU WILL NEED TO UBER OR RENT A CAR TO LEAVE THE HOTEL for food or to explore PR. There are no walkways to get out of the airport unfortunately. Other than that, I’d recommend anyone stay here.
Positive: Convenient to be right in the airport. It also had a restaurant which was convenient.
It was so convenient. We came from a night flight, too late to pick up a car and drive an hour to our destination. The hotel was connected to the airport, only a hop, a skip and a jump away from the airport exit. Breakfast was decent like all other hotel chains. Coffee was very good. Beds were comfortable. TV was smart with Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, etc.. It was clean. I would recommend for a short stay.
Positive: Location. Clean. Staff. All amazing Negative: Restaurant is expensive and the food was super salty.
Positive: The staff is amazing!! Negative: Good experience
I arrived early morning to Puerto Rico ~5AM. Had 3 friends spending a night at the hotel. The receptionist was super nice and accommodating. Since I was only gonna be for a few hours, she offered me to pay for breakfast until my friends woke up (only 10 bucks). Omelette was great. The lady in the breakfast lounge started to make me feel unwelcomed because of spending time sitting at my chair, while drinking one coffee after the other awaiting for my friends. So I asked her what the inconvenience was, she mentioned that the place is not for hanging but to eat and leave. I was the only person in a ~30 pax space for over an hour, respectfully keeping my area clean and reading my book. I suggest an accommodating attitude instead of a kicking me out one. Specially since I am a traveller and am exhausted being that early in the morning. I consider that common sense.
If you are looking for a place to stay, because of a late/early flight would recommend. We booked through Orbitz and had a late flight so was very nice to be able to pick up my luggage and not even have to leave the airport, just walk over to the hotel. Check in was fast and easy. Staff has been very friendly. Breakfast has an omelet station (1per guest) toast, oatmeal, pancakes, sausage coffee, hot chocolate, juice, cereal, fresh fruit. Now if you are a light sleeper, this may not be the best place for you, you do hear the planes taking off at the distance.
We arrived at the hotel an hour early thinking maybe they may have our room ready early. We were told for a $25.00 fee we could get in. So ok, we went and had something to eat and returned in an hour. We were then told our room was not ready and it had to be cleaned. A twenty min. wait turned into a hour. They did offer a cup of wine to make up for it. We dont drink wine so, tired and worn out we finally got our tiny studio room. I dont recommend this hotel for the money or the service. Disappointed!
❌DONT COME HERE!!!❌ THE first room i got was on the 2nd floor smelled like mildew, given another room on the 6th floor & that had a mildew smell as well. This hotel is funky! Must the staff don’t understand English so asking for help is useless. You won’t get what you see in the photos. It’s not a beachfront as described. I found a Suite at the embassy for better/half the price with amazing amenities & beachfront. This HOTEL IS TRASH!!!! THE LOCATION IS THE WORST!!!!! THE ROOMS ARE THE SIZE OF A JAIL CELL!!!!!!!
Very expensive everything. Very good atention
Positive: So convenient to get to the main gate. We were nervous about having a 5 am flight with the current curfew (12 am-5am) in Puerto Rico. We didnt know if we would get a cab or Uber easily. This hotel gave us peace of mind about getting to our flight on time
Why does it take 12 days to return the deposit into my account? . EVERY hotel I been to takes about 3 days max for it go back into my account. I would not recommend this hotel.
Room was clean; a little odd that the microwave and fridge are in the closet. Giving 2 start due to the worst customer service. I called each day at different times 3 days in a row due to a booking error. NO ONE ANSWERED and voicemails were never returned. On day 3, someone finally answered and was put on hold over an hour. I was told they only had one computer and someone was using it. When I arrived to check in there are 2 computers and usually 2 people on staff. I noticed many times they were either chatting, on the phone or on the desktops, phones continuously ringing. My biggest disappointment was the early check in. We were told we can do early check in a few hours. NO MENTION OF ADDITIONAL COST and was told we were going to receive a phone call in a couple of hours to let us know the room was ready. Never received a call. Just like before, when I called to check, no one answered. When we arrived, we were told it will be 15-20 minutes for the room and it will be $35 for early check. We paid; big mistake. It was an hour by the time the room was ready, and 1.5 hours before regular check in time. If I would have known I would have spent that time at the beach and waited for the 3 p.m check in time. For a hotel where we paid almost $275/night, it was one of the worst experiences I have encountered.
Unfortunately I’m stuck in Puerto Rico because Jet Blue cancelled my flight. In efforts not to miss my flight tomorrow, I checked in to this hotel. Stephanie is so amazing, she understood my situation and was very accommodating! She went above and beyond to get me a room, and insights to enjoy my night. The hotel is very clean and stuff members are very pleasant. My room was cleaned and sanitized to perfection! The have a restaurant called Campo Verde Latin Cuisine. It was very clean and the food was really yummy. Charlie catered to me like I was a queen and made very good margaritas! I would absolutely visit this hotel again.
Positive: Our room was relatively clean. However the best part was the bartender/waitress at the on site restaurant. She was very pleasant Negative: Small rooms. No choices in food. Did not offer much for families
While sleeping at the gate of a airport may be uncomfortable there will be hot water and a decent breakfast. This place is about as luxurious as abandoned asteroid mining outpost. The breakfast was really low quality, the rooftop lounge and Jacuzzi are shutdown and that maybe a positive thing during these times of germ warfare. Super nice staff doing the best thry can and fully functional air-conditioned, clean rooms...so that is a plus.
This airport continues to have Porters which it is a great service when traveling with much luggage. The government of Puerto Rico requires Covid test results. The process was fast and efficient to go through. This airport is old! And is due for an upgrade! However, it was very clean on the inside. After Hurricane Maria the damage to the airport was sever and they have made some well deserved upgrades on the perimeter of the airport.
Positive: I found a strand of black hair on the inner sheet. Mine is short and blonde. That grossed me out. It means that the sheets were not changed. In this climate of Covid 19 that is unacceptable. Im not a happy camper. Negative: I paid ---- for that room not --- at Motel 8. Very disappointed.
This hotel provides a safe, clean, moderately comfortable place to sleep within walking distance of the airport. That’s pretty much all you need, and that’s what you get. The worst part is that the walls are paper thin and people are loud, which is annoying.
Positive: updated furniture, bedding, bathroom. all extremely clean. staff did a terrific job ensuring safety protocols were followed. excellent communication through the booking service and late check in. Very good breakfast sandwich and oatmeal in the morning Negative: bathroom has a lovely new shower however the glass wall doesnt go far enough to enclose the space and keep water in the drain area so, water escapes to floor.
Checked in and walked out. Smells like chlorine, floor slimy, in the bowels of the airport. Truly horrible.
We stay here due to emergency accommodations needed because our Airbnb was not as it was described. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced in the hotel industry. The tub was slippery and almost felled twice, ran the shower and it started to just pulsate then a blast of scalding hot water just shot through. I moved my face just in time thank God and only received a faint red mark that went away about time security came and took a mental report. he wrote nothing down and stated when the hotel is kept cold, then the pipes are cold, and scalding hot water shoots out as such. reported to staff and wanted credit for that night of inconvenience...a dangerous situation to say the least. I ask for a credit for that one night and the gm said as long as I didnt get hurt, lunch and a new room were all that he could offer and just walked away from the conversation. Rude, apathetic, and empty. Just like the surroundings. It doesnt stop there. I my credit card company stated that they ran my credit card a total of five times on two consecutive days plus a 100.00 deposit, which I was not made aware of. My credit card does not know why those duplicate charges are still pending from last month...Called the hotel and they still have not gotten back to me to give an account as to the duplicate charges... just extending the horrific experience from San Juan Airport Hotel, even more. Please do not stay at this hotel, go across the street to others that will not try to scam you. DO CHECK YOUR CHARGES...they have no scruples. They made our first time in Puerto Rico a horrible experience. Jose, the gm, Michelle, the front desk, and Kenneth, in security who wrote nothing of my complaint down, are all culprits in making horrible memories for my family and me.
Horrible customer service no help they did nothing to try to make our stay better over priced hotel for mildew smelling hallways and molded roof view
We stayed one night (even less, arriving ~ 2am on Tuesday, 4/6 and leaving the same morning). The location is unbeatable and the facilities are OK for a 3-star place - clean, no-frill. However we had a big issue with the reception personnel who placed us in a connected room with a family with 2 babies. There is nothing wrong with babies crying, but it is wrong to place such family in a room with minimal sound protection. And the staff of the hotel (which was clearly half empty) should not have placed other family in an connected room. As a result, we woke up around 4 am from the noise and were never able to go back to sleep. So, if you stay in this hotel, make sure to refuse such room.
Not a lot of places to eat food . Eat before coming
Rooms really clean and restaurant was nice.
Positive: The location is convenient. Negative: The shower there is bad. Basically you will have to wait for about 20 minute to let the system run hot water out. I didnt figure out that trick when I took a shower first. I had a cold shower. And, the room is pretty cold which we were unable to control
Great hotel has nice beds nice stuff and all but my only issue is the planes really annoy your sleep and Im quite a heavy sleeper so it could get annoying
Si hubiese negativo uno lo pondría. If there was negative one, I would put that. Unfortunately, this place is not a good place to stay at ALL. It will only satisfy for just one night, as a convenience for a delayed flight. I found dirty towels, like they were used and not replaced...God knows what else they didnt replaced. Not a convenient hotel to stay as it is inside the airport with little to no amenities. Do not recommend it to anyone.
Nice staff. The room was not clean.
Positive: Location Negative: Staff. We came @ 2AM and we were placed in a connected room. The other room had 2 babies that started to cry around 3 am with no sound insulation. Nothing is wrong with a baby crying. However hotel staff must take noise into consideration.
Waited in line to check in at the hotel for an hr and 10 mins because their system was down and only 1 person working at the front desk, then she tells me she can’t charge my card for my room because my card has a chip so I have to stop at check out to pay which will be at 3am for my early flight. Then we stopped by the restaurant to get dinner again only 1 server working and a bartender. We wait and wait to be seated finally the bartender seats us, then nobody comes to the table. Finally the bartender comes and takes our order, then she comes out that they are out of some of our items and others they only have frozen. 25 mins later half of our drinks come out I had to go to the bar to get the rest and 1 hr and 25 mins later finally our food comes out cold!! I am traveling with kids and all the employees that sat down to eat after us received food and drinks right away. The table next to us with kids also kept waiting and waiting. It is absolutely unbelievable that such a big airport doesn’t have enough employees on a Friday night. The bartender told us there’s no managers or supervisor on site to talk to us. This will be the 1st and last time we stay here and would never recommend it to anyone.
So nice and comfortable, the room was incredible cleaned and the staff are very helpful and kind. Love it!!!
This hotel was awful, from a customer relations standpoint right off the bat. After being put on hold 2 times for 30 minutes by what I believe to be a recording, me and my wife showed up to the front desk to check in, we found one woman on her phone and no one else busying the lobby. This leads me to believe they don’t actually care to answer the phone for questions.Second, the room was actually great. Very clean. No complaints, other than we were told by the front desk on the day of arrival, breakfast is from 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM, which is also on the sheet. We called down to order our breakfast and the woman at the front desk said, “Sorry. Kitchens closed. It’s 8:40.” I then asked, “We we’re told it was open until 9:00” To which she responded “It is what it is, sorry. Kitchens closed.”From the jump to the end, this place was not what we expected. Nor the experience we would want for anyone else seeking to stay the night at the airport. Would not recommend spending $180.00 to stay here.
Wonderful. Its an airport hotel. Beds are comfortable and the room was clean. I would stay here again if needed.
No pool tables wack
Hotel is decent but the restraunt is horrible I definitely recomend eating some where else. Room and bathroom are super clean bed is pretty firm almost too firm but after walking all day it will definitely work. Staff so far has been friendly. They dont offer out going mail so if you send postcards or mail you have to do it away from the Hotel.
Negative: First thing the TV control, TV not working, there was no toilet paper, loud music all night long, the breakfast was not complete,
Unhygienic rooms, poor service. Not a 3-star by any means
Positive: Just a short walk from luggage carousel Negative: A bit noisy
Ticks all the boxes for airport hotel. Noise wasnt a problem for me personally, but got in late. Staff friendly and complimentary breakfast good. Omelettes especially tasty. Interiors a bit dated, but only here for a layover, not an exotic exciting experience, so not a problem. Literally on the terminal, so location very convenient.
Ive been at this airport, but I have never been at the hotel.
Positive: Que estaba en el aeropuerto Negative: No me gusto el cuarto el ba¿o y el ruido del cuarto del otro cuarto
To crowded and I came during a shift change which seemed unorganized
Negative: Everything
Rooms small and very over priced. Ive seen closets bigger than the bathroom. I wouldnt recommend staying here.
More fun you are the best 👌 11weeks you are the best 👌 not bad 😉
Daniella Perez made our stay great. We got to the hotel the day of the earthquakes and while she advised us there was a long-ish wait due to the hotel being fully booked, she made sure that as soon as a room was ready, we got it. Omar, one of the staff, brought our bags to our room and was super nice and friendly. We ended up going to the hotels restaurant, as the food places at the airport closed early, and we got amazing service. The wait staff was kind, friendly and very helpful. The food was good, nothing too memorable, but it was cooked to perfection and tasty. The hotel was running on generators and the rooms were a bit stuffy, but we got our phones charged and had a roof over our heads and a bed to rest on. The hotel is a life saver and on the same grounds as the airport so were able to walk to and from the airport.
Nice and cozy place to relax before and arrival and departure
The hotel is very conveniently-placed for stranded travelers to the island. It is rather expensive for the needed overnight stay. It is sparsely decorated to look high-end. Not so. They are in the midst of either renovation or build.Found out the next day that it would have been far less expensive getting an uber and going to an airbnb. Oh...at present Puerto Rico is on a 7pm curfew...it shuts down and is enforced.
Nice place attached to the terminal, very convenient. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, the rooms were clean and generous space. Our view looked over runways so the room had some noise but we were able to sleep. The breakfast in the morning was very good. The chef making eggs and omelettes to order was busy. There was cereal, fruit, pancakes, ham, bacon, toast, eggs and few other things. Filled us up easily and it was good food.
The hotel staffs level of customer service was second to none! By far the best service that I have ever received! From check in to check out, the staff was friendly, accommodating and quick to assist with any request no matter what time of the night it was. The rooms are intimate and the beds were extremely comfortable to the point where some of my staff requested the option to purchase the pillows for permanent use back home. They truly set the bar and standard for customer service. Thank you!
Decent American food.
Stay away. Its loud and way too expensive for what it is. There is nothing here. Pay a little extra and get a room across the street at the beach. The room was like an icebox when it was warm out. The AC air unit would only blow ice freezing cold air. There was some idiot in a police car outside our window ALL night long blasting his siren. Seriously, all night. The breakfast is terrible and if you want an omelette they expect you to tip for what you have already paid for...
Checked into hotel got to my room the TV remote did not work used buttons on TV the TV doesnt work the screen is messed up. Went to the restaurant ordered a burger and fries sat for two hours before the Waitress came up and said did you order a chicken wrap told her no and walked out
Very nice 👍
Its okay. Room was clean but small. Restaurant and bar were good. It is noisy, just keep that in mind. It is not sound proof by any stretch. A little pricey for what it is.
Clean big excellent
I stayed here two nights after arriving from a cruise. I cannot complain about anything. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. They had breakfast which was good. I thought I wouldnt be able to sleep because it is right where the airport is but I was wrong! The hot tub area was nice. I would stay here again.
We stayed at this hotel with our 2 small kids prior to taking our flight to US. For the price of the room we paid (over 200$) the room was tiny! The queen bed was the only thing that fit into that room, very disappointing, felt like we were stepping on each other! The room was clean when we arrived and check in process not too long. An employee helped us load the bags on luggage cart and bring upstairs. Our experience was ruined the next day when we were ready to leave, my husband went down and asked for a luggage cart so that we can bring our bags down in one trip. We waited in the room for about 15 minutes with kids starting to get restless, I went downstairs into the lobby. My kids are under 3, so they were playing in the lobby, after another 15 minutes they were getting restless and were being loud and screaming, any mother would understand the frustration of traveling with small kids, except I receive a lot of attitude form one of the front desk employees who was a tall blond named Beatrice (ID tag 20765). She asked me with a smirk if my kids were alright. I said to her that after waiting for more then 20 minutes I could take the damn cart upstairs myself with two screaming kids and Id be faster then them. She continued to be smart with me, very rude, unprofessional... said to get over it how does a person like that work in customer service? I hope management of this hotel sees my review and offer more training for their staff to be helpful for families with small kids instead of making things harder for us. I fully plan to contact the hotel via their email and try to contact a manager and complain about this.
Nice staff, very courteous and helpful. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Bad part, it is Extremely loud. police use sirens to keep people from parking in front of terminal all night!! Very annoying, could use some better sound insulation.
Excellent service at check in. Will definitely stay again 👍🏼
After reaching out several times, we were unable to get any sort of refund or credit when our flight was cancelled during the earthquakes. We were able to get refunds for extenuating circumstances through everywhere else we had reservations, except the airport hotel. I understand it is a “nonrefundable” room, but would think there are exceptions in such circumstances.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Its a fairly basic hotel. Love the convenience of the location, right at the airport. Only complaint is that the rooms are freezing! Even with the AC off
Wonderful experience. Got to meet the owner David, and I hope other business owners can follow his example of commitment to his patrons and clients. His humble spirit took me by surprise and this guy literally made my day. San Juan Airport Hotel is definitely the place to stay at when you travel to PR.
Positive: Location
Best food at the airport BY FAR. get the half chicken. Its spectacular and a good price
No place for your family to sit in the lobby while you wait in line to register..... not a single chair in sight for weary travelers who walk a long way from the terminal. Really? We had to take two elevators to get to our top floor room...... and at least two elevators seemed to be out of service. The room was spartan to say the least...... one large wall had a small flat screen television on it and thats all. It was odd. Not a stitch of carpeting in the room, ..... air conditioning that could not be warmed up beyond cold, a musty smell and the real kicker for me was a slow drain. Do yourself a favor and head to one of several quality hotels within ten minutes of the airport. If you come in late and are stuck overnight at the airport awaiting a super early flight..... this may be acceptable.
Prepaid guaranteed room was not available. they downgraded me to smaller room and told me I would get a refund for the difference in cost. When I called for the refund they refused. shameful greed by management. paid extra $75 for nothing. rooms are very small and pathetic looking. it was very loud. I got no rest that night. breakfast was a joke. not enough food for the amount of people there. probably the worst hotel experience Ive ever had. I would not recommend at all. for the amount they charge this should have been a very nice stay. sadly I feel robbed and disregarded.
3rd time staying at the San Juan Airport Hotel... LOVED IT! The recent changes being done are truly amazing, ni ve modern touch. The bathrooms look like out of a designer magazine. The floors are a cultural old San Juan vibe. GREAT JOB Hotel. However, I see its not all rooms. Our party was 3 different rooms, and only 2 of the 3 had the new bathrooms. Figured things are coming along in the reconstruction or remodeling. Will be returning soon!
Front desk young lady was very nice. I went to the restaurant in the hotel to eat, spoke with the waitress about where to sit but she never spoke to me after that so I had to eat from an eatery in the airport. The temperature of room is very uncomfortable. Its very humid and stuffy. There is absolutely NOTHING soundproof about the room. I can hear the people in the room next door, in the hall, along with the engines on the planes as well as police sirens, horns honking and loud cars.
Got stuck here on a recent layover. In the end, worked out really well for a connection to the islands.Super convenient location outside security.Clean room. Small bar/sushi bar. Good food.Hot tub closed super early.
This place is absolute trash. Small room that feels like a cheap dorm. The bed has no support. The bar is about 4 tables. You are better off finding stay off of Ashford. A road that has lots of hotels and places to visit/hang. Thank you southwest for keeping your connecting flights so close together that a 25 minute delay made my family stay a night in this disgusting hotel.
Booked because we had an early morning flight. Had to leave the hotel to get dinner and no where to hang around. Asked the staff to call us a taxi and it costed us $15 where a regular taxi back was $4. Soap only for one person in room. Quiet and good for quick nap before early flight.Overpriced for value
In my humble opinion the room cost me alot of money over $300 Canadian and for that much money I did not get value. The room was ultra small really can fit the bed alone, the TV had to be mounted on the wall, this TV I could not disable subtitles... the bath is no longer a bath but a converted shower. I got the impression they did not know what to do with the terminal so lets build a hotel. The only reason the rating is not lower is most hotels that I seen online were even more EXPENSIVE, because of this fact if I ever need to stay over night in San Juan maybe but really other that being at a airport I got better value
This was my second stay. The first was great. Great room.... Great prices...Etc. I decided to stay here again. This time as terrible. The room was small. You even hit your head in the TV while trying to go by the foot of the bed. The thermostat did not work properly....The room was filthy. And even had mild growing on the ceiling in the shower. And on top of that the room was twice as expensive as before. The only plus was the soft bed. I would advise staying somewhere else. You can get a much better room for this price and be ocean front. An update....Just left the hotel and advised the front of the situation.....All we got was this doesnt happen.....And a small apology. Sorry it does happen. I did review it last year and gave it a good review. And my information about the price of hotels is not false.....I know this from personal experience. The hotel and casino in San Juan is just as cheap....Well it was even cheaper actually. And your breakfast last time was excellent. But this time it was on the level of McDonalds. And you fails to address the problems with your faulty equipment and the mold in your showers from lack of your staff cleaning. I have receipts to that show the price difference and I have pictures of the room and mold and also a video of the faulty equipment. What do you have sir?The current managements responses to negative reviews should be enough for Google users to be able to see how they will be treated.Stayed here again this week(week of March 26), (this was my fourth stay here). This visit was much better than the last. The staff was nice and the room was clean and everything worked. The breakfast still wasnt up to the quality it was a year ago and the cook was rude. Maybe he was having a bad day because he had never been rude before.
When I first walked in the room, I thought, ooh, Im going to be a little cramped here, but once I settled in, I realized how well designed the room and bathroom are, and how someone really paid attention to details. The shower head is great, water pressure is strong, and temperature of the water spot-on. Theres nice smelling soap with an eco-friendly bent. The fixtures all are designed nicely and are compact in a good way. The bed is comfortable, and theres a well-positioned tv and a good desk and chair. Nice clothes line in bathroom, smart blow dryer, a good safe, nice floors and bedding. Its very comfortable. The windows open, which is almost a miracle these days. Id give it a five star if the hot tub was open, as advertised on website, but I guess that will come when renovation is complete. Good place to stay while in transit.
Excellent 😍😍
Hotel was nice. Just got kicked out however for sitting on the stairs while waiting for our rental car. This hotel should have more benches so I wouldnt have to sit on the stairs. I informed the employee that we had stayed the night at the hotel and would only be here for a couple of minutes since we were waiting for our rental car. Eh, he didnt care.
Pros: It was convenient to the airport terminal. The room was clean. There is a fairly decent restaurant on the 2nd floor with basic fare ($$ pricey).Cons: They made me pay for an early arrival (2 hours early). First time ever. It took forever to get hot water in the shower. The vending machine on my floor didnt work. The breakfast included was very blah. No milk or cream for coffee, only powder stuff. AND the room was Very Noisy!! Outside noise was terrible. The room rate was high! All in all, the convenience did not outweigh the conditions.
