Its a very small place, and has a pawn shop vibe to it, but the guy was more than happy to help me, was friendly, and gave me a good deal. The picture is of the guitar I bought there.

Super nifty place. Theyve got new and used gear, nicely priced. Went on Thursday. The guy running it was awesome. Sad to say his name has escaped me. (In my defense, local colorful personality Jeff came in while we were taking names haha!)Went with my boyfriend who got what he needed while there. Will go again next time were in Carrboro.

John knows his shhh-stuff man. Great service, the owner himself can really provide solid advise due to high experience and knowledge. They actually utilize all of the local specialist locally, it is possible it is better to take something to repair here compared to Guitar Center....... JUST because they have the wide range of repair specialist at their disposal. Places like guitar center repair everything in-house so they may have a damn Martin/Taylor Guitar repair apprentice trying to repair a damn electric guitar.... its so retarded.... Take your guitar here!!! they will make sure it is repaired by the proper technician.... I didnt EVEN mention it and they provided the info of the difference... they really know their stuff.

The guy there was VERY helpful. I am new to guitar and the man there was eager to answer all my questions, show me things I didnt know, and even demonstrate how to put on new strings. I will certainly be back.

I try to visit this store whenever Im in town. There is always a wide assortment of items from customized guitars, harmonicas, and sunglasses to guitar picks with pictures of Zac Efron on them. Last week there was a clarinet and a sitar. The owner is super knowledgeable and friendly and doesnt seem to mind when I ask him stupid questions. He is very accommodating and has special ordered things for me on several occasions that he didnt carry in stock. A great place to find unique gifts and quality instruments at great prices.
