Napoli is open as of 2 weeks ago- I came to grab a quick gelato (Hazelnut and Espresso) and it did not disappoint. They have outdoor seating, and everything is ordered and cooked out of their food truck!5 stars for the service I got, the waiter went and took me to the storefront(where the gelato is stored) and though we assumed we couldn’t do samples he went ahead and got us some- much appreciated!!I’ll have to come back to try the pizza though, the other reviews seem to already rave about it.P.S Parking across the street was accessible!

Great eclectic wood smoked pizza and drinks in a small outdoor setting. They actually make it in a food truck parked nearby. You can bring your dog but theres not a lot of room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Gelato and sorbet were a plus to top off a wonderful meal.

Very impressed about how quickly we got served.The salad is a steal for six bucks only and the pizzas were delicious.Enjoyed the side patio while the outdoor temperature was still bearable. However, one or two ceiling fans would be a nice addition for the upcoming hot months.Well be back!

The sauce was great, had a lot of flavor and a thin crust for those watching their carbs. However, a little more crust wouldnt hurt so that there would be more crunch and the pizza wouldnt cave in.

Their special pizzas are always amazing! If you’re driving up for pickup, there’s a little spot outside (it’s easy to miss) across from Weaver Street Market.

This pizza is simply amazing. The best pizza Ive had in North Carolina, no question. Its very authentic, from the charred spotting on the bottom to the soupy center. It was very affordable, too - we had two pizzas and two drinks for $30. The drinks were great and the service was friendly. I cant wait to go back!

Best Southern-Italian pizza in the area. But- we got under-cooked pizza the other day (cheese was not completely melted, dough was not cooked through). Please cook to completion and stay on top!

As usual, yummy pizza. But the salad definitely was not as advertised. Throwing bread chunks on top of a green salad does not make a panzanella salad.

Quality and taste definitely in our Top 3 for pizza and gelato!! Had Apricot and the DOP, both superb. Definitely true Napoli style, center of pie is not crispy like the outer crust is. Multiple gelato flavors, especially loved orange blossom with dark chocolate. We will be back!

This place is my go-to for pizza in Carrboro. They always have something new and fun on the menu, the pizza is delicious, and their gelato is incredible. We always have to get a few pints knowing we’ll finish at least one that night.

I would highly warn against hiring Napoli for any catering event, which is a bummer because their food is very good. We booked Napoli for my April wedding and less than TWO WEEKS before the date they canceled. Communication was extremely poor throughout the entire planning process, and agreed upon services kept getting cut back until less than two weeks before the wedding, he backed out completely. Unfortunately when we were venting to friends, family, and vendors about our terrible experience, a lot of them actually admitted that they had heard similar things about them or had similarly bad experiences themselves. We just wish we had known sooner.

In my opinion this is the best pizza in Carrboro. Its all wood fired in a truck out back. They have delicious gelato. Im kinda glad I dont live closer or Id be here more than once a week.

Napoli Pizzeria is whom we hired for my sons wedding and I cant praise them highly enough. The pizzas were just right, very tasty with a crust that really reminded me of the pizzas when I visited in Italy. The vegetable salads put out on the tables in huge salad bowls were very appetizing and were delicious. Their gelato is out of this world, any flavor you pick. Gaele who waited on us was very friendly, attentioné, and patient. We were never rushed. Definitely a wonderful experience! Thank you Napoli!!!Marie-Claude Flynn

Had their pizza at Moonlight in the Garden, JC Ralston arboretum. The food truck was fantastic. It had a real fire oven in it. It was made with pennies, super cool! Service was fast, made to order. We had pepperoni and Greca. Both were delicious! Im wondering what they had to go thru to get permits for that oven. Id love to hear their story! Creative and a really delicious product.

Picked up a parcooked mushroom and spinach pizza and baked it according to the directions provided. Made it as fresh and hot as if we had eaten indoors, which we arent comfortable doing at any establishment due to COVID. We were super impressed by their social distancing measures and signage! Highly recommend for gourmet pizza, affordable prices, and COVID safety. Plus, they pay living wages to their employees :)

Placed an order here for my wife’s birthday, as it’s one of our usual favorite spots. The first issue arose when I went to pick up the order, and they didn’t have the specific gelato we paid for. As the online menu said it was in limited quantity, it was easy to understand (though perhaps I would have expected them to keep better track of their inventory/set things aside once ordered), and they gave us a substitute flavor. However, upon coming home, my wife found that her pizza lacked then extra prosciutto she specifically wanted as a treat for her birthday. I/we feel this is entirely unacceptable, given we paid for it and didn’t receive any recompense, as we did with the wrong gelato.

The absolute best pizza Ive had. I love the minimalism of the ingredients, and the OBVIOUS high quality of the food. The slight char on the crust adds yummy flavor and charm to the pizzas. The pizza itself is super light and never leaves me feeling stuffed or sluggish afterward. Theyre always running specials which is awesome! Also, you HAVE to grab some gelato, Ive had multiple flavors and theyre all delicious. I find the outdoor seating area charming and enjoy sitting there for a bit even after my meal, theres even heaters for when its chilly. How cool is that?I dont find anything about the restaurant confusing, its straight forward. Place your order inside, grab a spot outside, hang out and enjoy your company while you wait for some pizza. Even if I generally had a longer wait time I wouldnt mind here because I know my food is being made fresh. If you have any questions I know from personal experience the staff is super helpful and nice so simply ask!

Very nicely done. Crust is soft and airy with hints of char that enhances the flavor and texture. The 00 flour really shines, you should ask for the buffalo mozzarella as it makes a great addition to any pizza. Will come back here over the other neapolitan pizza joints in the area.

This place is great. The prices are decent and the pizza taste awesome. My husband and I had started with the appetizer that had cheese meats and olives. The cheese was high quality and just taste amazing. Then we had the pizza which was AMAZING. You actually taste the good quality in the ingredients. Then we topped it off with there home made ice cream. My husband had mango and was very impressed with it, taste like the mango was just picked and burst of greatness in your mouth..... coming from someone who isnt that big into sweets. Then mine I had this rose petal ice cream, like all i can say is it taste like roses smell mmmmm. a sweet rosey flavor, not too sweet tho just perfect. My family and I will definitely WILL be going back to this little place. We highly recommend. If you want fire pizza go here I still am like whoa to this place. Also the staff is amazing they top your whole pizza experience. MUST GO

We had Napoli at one of my clients weddings. It was AMAZING!!!!!! Gael was wonderful to work with! And the food was unbelievable. The apricot pizza was unreal! And the gelato was fantastic! I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone! Definitely will want to visit any time I’m in the area!

Blown away by how good this pizza was (I went with the Calabria), will absolutely be returning soon. One pizza is a large meal for one or a small meal for two. The place has very limited seating but was very cute, and the small size made it feel more cozy. Good for a date night, not excellent for a big group. The gelato looked tasty, looking forward to trying it on a warmer day. I also liked their (small) selection of NC brewed beers.

BEST PIZZA AROUND! This is my favorite restaurant in Carrboro/Chapel Hill!!! I could eat it everyday. The ingredients are insanely fresh and the staff is always more than nice. PRO TIP: if you arent going to eat your pizza immediately, ask them not to cut it. They will give you a pizza cutter and you can heat it up in your oven at home!

We hired Napoli to cater my husbands birthday party. The food was absolutely delicious, Napoli staff went above and beyond our expectations, and we love Napolis business practices (they use compostable dishes and pay staff the living wage). I highly recommend this business and would hire them again in an instant!

Very yummy wood-fired thin-crust pizza. Prices were very slightly on the high side for usual food truck fare (one pizza feeds one hungry diner), but the ingredients were very good and their flavors exceptional. We ordered 3 pizzas for take-out on a very quiet night and were on our way in 10 minutes, tops. Will definitely be back.

Been trying to find good Napoli pizza since visiting Italy last summer. Definitely on par and delicious, too!

My wife and I had no real expectations when we walked in to this hybrid brick and mortar and food truck establishment. My wife ordered the Calabria (goat cheese, mozzarella, Spanish chorizo and a drizzle of honey) and I ordered the Parma (mozzarella, prosciutto, tomato sauce and arugula) and we got a very nice bottle of French GSM red blend wine for $20. All were outstanding. Crust was thin, but not too thin and cooked to a golden brown without burning. Fresh ingredients in perfect harmony with a fine server behind the counter. Well be back!!

I would give it 5 starts but the pizza we got last night was a bit too burnt. Also, there was dog/cat poop all over the grass where the tables were. Napoli would do better to turn the truck around and have the tables in the gravel drive on the otherside. Concept: 5 stars. Execution: needs some work.

The gelatto is good but the coffee is mediocre, so stick to the food. Dont come to study here; they have only one outlet and then they dont like you sitting if you dont buy anything, even if the café space is nearly empty. I dont plan on coming back here; if a café cant stand members of the community not spending money each time they come in, its not quite the service they appear to be providing. Just go to open eye or looking glass.

What a waste of a food truck.I go at 11:22 and they dont open until 11:30. Okay, no problem I can come back in 8 minutes.I go back 15 minutes later and there is a huge line and basically get ignored. The little girls sees me and says Ill be with you in a bit.Needless to say, I didnt get a chance to eat any pizza so this is strictly on the customer service side of things. I definately wont be making the trip to carrboro for this lousy place. (maybe the store is better than the truck).

We had this food truck at our school, and one of my peers was very short and the server gave him his pizza at a huge angle, and it spilled and burned his neck. Also, the server did not give him a refund or even say sorry. The pizza was not that good and all the toppings fell off. It was totally overpriced as well. If I could, I would give this place half a star.

Ordered 2 pizzas. Margherita and the Funghi. Marg was good but the Funghi was very sparse on the mushrooms, so much so that there wasnt even at least 1 mushroom per slice. Im not a stickler for sparse toppings usually but if its called Funghi, at least a mushroom per slice is all you can ask for.Top it off with the buzzer didnt work so our pizza was cold and you get 1 star. Will maybe try again and hopefully be proven wrong.

This pizza is incredible. Pricey if you compare it to a chain, but worth the cost 100%. Only thing Ive not loved were the cheese sticks, cause for the price you might as well order another pizza and it be amazing.
