The man teller or owner is rude, short, no customer service at all. they want is your money. You cant get an exchange even if you just bought something. They act like theyre doing us a favor, when were keeping them in business. It a shame

Store selection is pretty decent. However, the managers customer service skills are seriously lacking along with her professionalism. She is rude and condescending towards customers from what I witnessed first hand. Being a business owner myself, this is the biggest mistake for a business. She was also not very knowledgeable nor able to answer very simple questions about products. My own experience, was just as the customers before me, VERY poor customer service skills, very rude without reason, and simply unprofessional. This review is from a business owners perspective and with 2 decades of customer service experience. Very unfortunate to see a manager behave in this manner. It tells your customers you dont care about your business. Nor their repeat business. Even more unfortunate, I saw this same behavior with the 2 customers ahead of me. So its not a BAD day type situation. Very poor business skills for a manager. As we are to set the bar for the customer experience. This manager is not professional in any way or manner.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews..... But, honestly this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hair store. The Asian lady behind the counter was so rude and rushed literally every person that walked through the door. I asked her a question regarding the hair and she said “I don’t know we’re about to close”. It was 6:11. Google says they close at 7. I’ll never ever go there again.. 🥴

Purchased a few items but some wigs you can not try on ..hummmm. Liked the with so much I purchased it in the new box. Take it out and in the car and theres a little shedding. The store policy is all sales are final.

They have a nice selection if hair products that can be found and a lot of hard to find products not in regular beauty stores. The hair options for my personal taste are a little lacking only because they do not keep a running supply of specific types of hair. This translates to buy as many packs as you may need and hope you dont need more. Be prepared with a second option of hair choice just in case they no longer have a certain type you bought a few weeks ago. Also choices in hair color is lacking. You will always find every brand and type in in the basic 1, 2, 4. But moving on to your 30s and other many colors are not stocked. Yes I said not stocked. Not sold out but never was stocked. They do not carry any type of hair behind the counters or in a stockroom, what on the floor is what you get.

They are okay when it comes to attitude towards the customers, but pretty o.k place to find a product when you need a quick little fixer upper on your hair 👌🏾💇🏾‍♀️💁🏾‍♀️

I went there two days ago to purchase two wigs. After 20 minutes I got someone to help me. I told them several times ive never purchased a wig and I had no idea what I needed. I did not get any advice at all about the wigs. She was to busy talking to her sister to answer any of my questions I also purchased a body suiye when I opened it at home it wqs not what the box said it was. Not even close. So noe Im stuck with two wigs I cant wear and a body suiter as well I wasted almost two hundred dollars at this place

They never really have what youre looking for and no one ever goes out of their way to help you find what you need. They just point and say go look back there or over there. They can never be reached by phone for questions and theyre more expensive than most places.

I would give zero but thats not an option. As a person visiting from out of town I would never expect to be followed around the store by the owner. And I still spent almost money in the store because of my nephews and so did my brother and sister. But I will never ever buy anything out of this store ever again.

Asked for help from young lady who was respectful and kind. But extremely rude male behind front counter. We had a needed bathroom emergency but wouldn’t let me use toilet. Put my shopping items down and left store immediately. Will NEVER return here. Very rude .

They have a ton of products and inventory to choose from. The location is great because it is just outside of the city limits but close enough to get to within minutes. The customer service is not so great due to minimal interactions with the staff but it is a great store to get all your beauty supply needs.

I honestly wish I would have read into the reviews before I gave them any of my money. I am literally sitting in the parking lot to write this review. I have NEVER been treated with this much disrespect after coming to a store faithfully for as long as I have with them. I usually do not see this woman at the register, it is usually a very polite man and young woman. However, after todays experience, I will not be returning or giving them a penny. There are plenty of other beauty supply stores in the area. I will not stoop to their level and name some on here, BUT, I can say these people are after money not to keep their customers satisfied or happy. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!!

A & K sells a variety of African American hair products ranging from wigs, weave and urban accessories. I miss the former owners because they knew & trusted their regular customers. The new owners need to work on customer service from A to Z or should I say from A to K. The young African American sales associates are a plus because they actually know the products and are friendly and very helpful. The former owners should have sold the business to an African American person...me. I will go to Elaines Styles & More for my beauty supplies.

They are a little pricey but I can always find what I need!

They are terrible, unprofessional,unfriendly, non helpful, and the owner acts like he is the only place in town that sells black hair care products. The owner was so rude when I entered the store I was shocked. But since Ive only lived in Georgia for five months since I retired, I decided to give them another chance. Now the second time I went in there he was be on rude telling me that the girl that can help me with in the bathroom and if I need to find hair I have to wait for her. It was his attitude and his tone, as if I have no other choice but to wait for this woman to come out the bathroom. I said thank you very much got in my car and proceeded to go to Joyces hair care products located at 820 Maple St. in Carrollton. I will never spend not ape Annie and AK beauty again in life . I worked too hard to earn my retirement to spend my money where it is not appreciated. I would recommend and I havent even been there yet, but I would still recommend you try Joyces be ready on Maple Street. I will be putting a review on her site once I go there next week. I think the owner is the all time worst. He has items marked one price, and some ring up higher at the register. I witnessed him tell a customer that he didnt care what the tag said, because he goes by what his computer rings up. I wished I could have given his business 0 stars. Hes the rudest man running a business. He needs to be shut down.

Nasty nasty nasty attitude the owner had especially. The young girl they had on the floor was very nice and helpful but when I got to the counter to purchase my things the owner had the worst attitude I’ve encountered in a long time. If I didn’t need my items as bad as I did at the moment they would not have gotten one dime of my money. I will never go back I would rather drive to douglasville than to deal with that poor customer service. Very unfair to the community

I have been trying to call this store for the last 6 days to see if they had a certain product. I dont want to drive all the way down as I live in tallapoosa. Ive tried calling about 4 times per day for the last 6 days smh if your customer service want even answer a phone I can only imagine what the customer service must be like in the store! Ill take my business elsewhere.

The staff has always been friendly but they never answer the phone. Ive called multiple times at different times throughout the day and still no answer. So of course I travel all the way there and they dont have what Im looking for.

I went into the store and the manager said they dont stylist discount. Ive been coming here for a long time and today he decided he would pick and choose what he wanted to give the stylist discount on. The funny thing is even the cashier was surprised by the sudden change of policy. Although I will not be back, but as a business owner... keep it consistent please.

These people are rip offs. Go to places where we are treated kindly not like trash. These people make money off of us and its not right the way we are treated.

The ladies are so incredibly nice. I went in for the first time looking for hair pudding for my daughter that I have not been able to find locally since moving here (over 6 months ago). The lady working helped me look and when they did not carry it, she ordered a case so they would have it! That is great customer service. Great place to get jewelry for girls also. My tween tends to lose and break jewelry so I bought her accessories from here this year and spent a total of about $10 - saved me quite a bit. It isnt the best quality but at $1 a piece I dont mind replacing it when she breaks or loses it - sure beats replacing $10 - $15 items from some of the clothing stores. I will continue to shop here from now on for all my daughters hair and beauty supplies.

The store has every hair supply you need the only thing we all are treated like the shoplifters but we are all not.

The staff is friendly and very helpful, they have a wide selection for natural hair care...

The selection was huge, but many of the makeup items looked like they had been there for years, and the employees were incredibly rude. As I was checking out, I tried to make conversation and they ignored me while talking to one another about how ready they were to close. Overall, the experience was poor, the product was mediocre, and I will not be going back.
