Hands down best guitar customization and setup shop. Ive sent 6 guitars and 1 bass there and every one of them has came back playing like warm butter. I just dropped off a fender thinline for new neck and tunners today. Its a 65 mile one way drive for me and I pass 5 guitar shops along the way but the costumer service and guitar wizardry they offer is outstanding.I been a player for 20 years and have been to many shops. Give this one a go, I promise you wont take your babys anywhere else.
Wanted to share the experience I had with Ed when commissioning my first custom build. To sum it up, it was fun, and a few months later I am still loving the guitar. For some background, I am relatively new to the area and happened upon Eds shop when looking for local music stores as I prefer to buy local. I initially purchased an amp and then had him repair one of my guitars and was very pleased with how that all went. The amp was factory fresh, and the repair was something very simple, and he did not even charge me for that. It was during these transactions that I visited Eds shop, which is very cozy yet chock full of cool gear. Specifically a large number of very unique guitars, for which Ed appears to be the exclusive US rep. These guitars feel, sound and look great and I had a desire to expand my collection, so I worked with Ed on a custom build. Ed was engaging, communicative and a joy to work with. I specified every aspect of the guitar you see here, including a color/finish that was new to Ed, yet he figured out a way to make it happen. The guitar is of top quality in every way, provides something very unique yet plays and sounds absolutely amazing. I currently use it every Sunday in the worship arts ministry I lead and enjoy it every time I pick it up and plug it in.So, in summary, go see Ed! Hes a great guy with a fun personality and he brings back an increasingly rare way of doing business person to person, face to face. He does great work and stands by his work. I could not be more pleased!
I found Sweetone Music and Ed Klein while looking for an authorized Hughes & Kettner repair shop. Ed responded to my emails and thoroughly answered my questions. I live several hours away, but took my amp in a few weeks later when I was in the area. Again, Ed was accommodating and helpful. The repair work was excellent. Ed fixed the problem I was concerned about and then remedied a couple of other issues as well. I couldn’t be happier. In addition to his professionalism and skill, Ed Klein is just a good guy. I will be a repeat customer.
Great shop! They took on my mandolin when several other shops turned me away. They did a great job repairing it at an affordable price. Very friendly and helpful with general information about my instrument. Highly recommend!
Ed was very helpful. Great service!
Ed Klein is one of those rare individuals... Passionate, personable, and very knowledgeable! Killer boutique shop carrying acoustic guitars, electric guitars and amplifiers. What every music store should be...
Spoke with Ed. Incredible customer service!
Cool place! Guitar repair shop is best in DFW!
Best customer service I have ever received in regards to guitars. Ed was able to get me a Larrivee model they didnt have in stock to try within 3 days from the factory without having to buy it I had the chance to play. The only Larrivee dealer in D/FW and he has a pretty good selection of the instruments. Highly recommended. This is a shop where the stars frequent. He works with Rascal Flatts, Bonnie Raitt and many other famous folks. Dont be fooled by the whole in the wall looking facilities. There is professional gear and amazing customer service inside.
