I like big 5..always a good experiance there..the shoe guys were hella knowlegeable about the shoe i was lookin for and knew what they had in stock. always a good browse.

Retailers with people this kind, helpful and service oriented make in-store shopping a real pleasure. I have made several purchases at this location in recent years and its always been a positive experience! Nice selection of products with great prices make this a first go to for my sporting goods needs.

Most of the inventory here is in poor condition. Most items were display models with damage or in used condition. Very poor customer service at this branch. The manager Scott was RUDE, and made me feel unwelcome. Items were overpriced even though they we supposedly on sale not helpful at all. Very disappointed.

Their particular features I like a national chain stores. You know what your can expect you understand the prices and the selection and the service. Ive been shopping at this big 5 sporting good store for 12 or more years. across that time Ive purchased items from sunglasses to athletic shoes to toys and camping goods and gifts. I recommend this store and the chain.

The cashier lady was rude to me. I will not bring myself back to this location to spend my hard earned money. Ever!

They need to work on the greeting, its a few different employees who arent really inviting when addressing a customer at the door. The employees can be helpful when asking if you need anything but still can be limiting in the way they respond. I know it can be difficult to please all customers and you probably wont but you can still give them all an equal shot as being returning business.

Well stocked, fun to browse around in, always get something neat to wear or play with. Easy in and out parking if your just curious for a new hobby, check it out.

If you know what you want they might have it.

Ok, store pretty cluttered

I like big five great shoe deals when they are on sale as is their golf stuff.

They have a great selection of sports / outdoor goods. Worth checking out. You should check out Amazon first though because things here are a bit pricey.

Higher quality and better selection than Walmart.. Employees dont know much about the items they sell, but they know where they are. Quick and easy to get fishing license. You can buy firearms and crossbows.

They carry zero real mens shoes... only up to size 13, good for my 7th grader...No real handguns and no AR style rifles.This is not a mans sporting goods store. This is a baseball and light camping gear spot.

Drove from far away when online says it closes at 7:30. THEY CLOSE AT 7 PEOPLE!!! We got there just 2 minutes past!!!

Its a Big 5. You know what to expect. I often find pretty sweet deals here, but if you want latest models/fasions try Dicks or Scheels.

I unfortunately never have a good experience at Big 5. Its always my last choice but in Carson its the only choice (unless you want to drive thirty more minutes to Reno). Its always a disorganized mess, shelves crammed, poor layout.
