Since moving to Cartersville to our little fixer-upper, these guys have been wonderful and very resourceful. Yes the hardware selection is what you would expect from an Ace, but the customer service is high class. Kudos to the owner/management for the exceptional professional young men/women in the building

Great store with friendly staff! Hardware stores of this nature often have better customer service than their big box rivals, and this Ace is no exception.Their lumber supply is limited, but the isles are wider than most so wheelchair customers will do well.

Even though everywhere online says ace hardware is known for helping customers cut wood. I was told they dont by this store.. had to go to another ace hardware to get just a few pieces of 24inch wood cut about 30 mins away.

The paint department in this store needs some serious help. I visited there 3 times, first two times it was mass confusion over a simple request. I left with paint both times, after a long drawn out interaction with paint department. Third time I finally said enough is enough, and walked out. I think the person in the paint dept. simply needs more training. He tried to help, but clearly didnt have a clue.

Everything is right there fast service

As I usually make atleast 1 stop per weekend to purchuse something and have issues most of the time. The customer service women are very rude and not knowledgeable. The team should put some smiles on there face and be more friendly

Recently moved to the area and am thrilled to find this store. Not a huge fan of the big box stores (HD, Lowes, etc) unless absolutely needed, and this store seems to have a huge selection and variety of goods so Ill likely stop here first moving forward.The reason for my visit was to pick up some Stihl Power Equipment (Kombi system and a few attachments) of which the big box stores dont carry. Great selection of models to choose from and the staff member was helpful in pointing some things out. Also love the fact that I can get the unit serviced at the same location I bought it--thats huge if I ever have any issues or warranty work done.This Ace store reminds me of the ones when I was growing up (30+ years ago) and is good to see them doing so well. Its well worth the extra drive (for me at least) than going to the alternatives or shopping online, and there is something to be said about supporting local establishments.

This is a friendly review to help correct a problem. Called for availability of water faucet lock. Staff Danica was very friendly and professional. Danica stated that system shows 3 in stock but no one knows where they are. Only the plumbing guy knows and he is at lunch. Danika advised me to call back in 15 minutes. Time is precious. Maybe a different system would allow everyone to know where something is located. Thank you for listening.

Friendly Atmosphere and Busy!

My go to spot for anything hardware Im not going to find anywhere else close by. Nuts, bolts, springs, o-rings, saw parts, sprinkler parts, etc. Well stocked, established hardware store with a friendly, knowledgeable staff generally. If youre in a hurry ask for Bill. He will get it sorted for you in a jiffy!

Iv been in there a dozen times over the last 2 months and each time they have gone out of there way to help me get what i needed. Buck has cut over 30 keys for me and they all worked like a charm, they even cut motorcycle keys and they do it the old fashioned way not with one of those stupid wall-mart / home-depot/ lowes cartridge cutter key maker things that never work right. good people, helpful place.

Staff is always very friendly and eager to help every time we visit this store. Its larger than it looks and has just about everything you need in a very convenient location for the West side of Cartersville.

Remodeling my house, this business is conveniently located. The chip in my card would not read. Cashier stated that she would not allow me to swipe the card or enter it manually because the card could be stolen. I asked if she would check my I.d. or allow me to use my pin, she simply stated again that there was a high possibility it was stolen and apologized. Frankly, an apology falls short when you’re calling me a thief. Apparently, if the computer doesn’t know how to check I.d., the clerk isn’t allowed to use their brain. I will never shop there again which means they lost thousands of dollars in business. I wanted to put my money into a small business but it looks like I will be going to Home Depot. Which, by the way, my card worked perfectly there.

They have a large selection of, the staff was very helpful and willing to walk around the store to help me find the things that I needed. Highly recommended, a great asset to our community.

After 2 weeks the saw was diagnosed as needing cylinder and piston replacement aka trash. I took it home and ordered thetparts. After taking the entire saw apart the cylinder and piston have minimal wear. I contacted ace and they told me all kind of diagnostic steps to take but wouldnt help memany further. I drove up to speak to Patrick and he said he wasnt going to get in some heated debate with me. Clearly he was the one getting heated. I complained to the manager and they refunded the 35 diagnoatics fee to me. I will never be back and will tell everyone who asks. P. S. The manager lady was cool. UPDATE: Took saw to two techs and they fixed it... Air leak in 4 dollar plastic part. Ace hardware is a joke.

Brought in my usually reliable leaf blower which for some reason would not start. one weekend It was a fluke and the machine started when they pulled the cord. They charged me $35 to pull that cord - mechanic never even had to touch it. What a rip off and they have lost a customer. Definitely not the helpful place.Udate - I am absolutely astounded at the rudeness of the owner and inefficiency of the employees as this store. Upon advice of Ace Hardware Comp[laint Center I contacted them to discuss the situation above and they falsely claimed that I was refunded in cash. Person who checked the blower in was at lunch when I went back and they could not reach her by phone. They refused to refund the $35.00. I contacted the complaint center who said it was not that stores policy to refund diagnostic fee and when I said there was no diagnostic done be a mechanic they told me to contact the store manager. I called today and the extremely rude owner insisted that they had refunded me in cash which is absolutely not what happened and I was just an unhappy person. Wow, just shocked, absolutely shocked at the worst customer service ever. Have they changed owners recently? I ordered a Stihl weed eater on December 7th. I placed my order well in advance in order for it to be ready for Christmas and the website said it should be there in 2-3 days. I never received a phone call when it was ready. I ended up calling them on December 15th to check on it. They told me oh yea it is here whenever you are ready to pick it up. I got there thinking it was ready to go. I waited about 30 minutes before they told me it was not working and would need to issue me a refund! They could have tested this before I got there and called and told me!! I will not be back to this store to purchase anything!
