This is an amazing place to go fishing for the whole family and people of any skill level. The trout farm is free to fish in. The only rule is that you have to keep what ever you catch. You pay about $8 per pound (they can even clean your trout and give you ice for only a little extra). The larger lake is for members only and only recommend for people with a good amount of experience. The bait shop is a nice thing to have near the pond. It contains plenty of baits (like worms and little fish) and even some small fishing rods. The man working their (Tim) was extremely kind and helpful. Seeing that we were inexperienced he taught us how to put on the worms, where and how to cast, and plenty more. Even though today happened not to be a good day to go trout fishing, Tim still maximized our chances and we managed to catch 6 trout in 3 hours on a day where they werent bitting much. We ended up paying about $40 for the 6 fish and cleaning+ice. We will definitely come back. Our entire family enjoyed the experience and will be eating delicious food tonight. We all cant wait for the next time we come back.

Great place to go fishing! We went as a big family and we were not catching anything as it was too warm for the fish. I told Christina (one of the owners) what had happened and she helped us out right away! Giving us all the tips and pointers to be able to catch as many as we needed to feed our family. Thank you guys for saving our family day and helping us feed all those hungry bellies!

Very fun and can take the whole family. No pets allowed!! If you get the pass to go to the private lake, its really nice only people with the pass can go down. Its safe to know that, because if you have kids you know they arent in danger to get lost! The down side we dont catch fish at all, weve tried everything in the private lake. But if your just fishing for trout which is located right where you entered, you will definitely catch I promise you that weve caught 6 trout fish. They are very tasty and delicious!!

Came here about a couple years ago. Didnt realize that they had changed their pricing model to 100$ annual fee w/ an added 10$ per person per day on top of it. Unless you want trout at a crazy high price then sure, but lake entrance fee for members is way to much!

First time for my kids to fish. They had a great time bringing in rainbow trout--19 fish, weighing 11 pounds! the five of us had two great dinners!

Had a great time. Got there early first ones in. Staff was very helpful and polite. Caught a bunch of trout had them cleaned and iced. Perfect. Was also very easy for my elderly parent to access. Great Job.

This is a great place to take all family out, yor wife little kids big kids everyone will have fun caching fish.Even if you never fished before you will catch fish great for little ones that have gone out with dad but havent hooked one yet. You can buy your fish and take them home they will even clean them for you im grilling my right now.

The man in the bait shop is the best. VERY knowledgeable and so helpful. If hes not there we leave because the lady that works there is kinda crabby.

Great trout pond for the kids and dinner! Big lake is very clean and the water is clear. Havent caught a fish yet, only went once but I will be back.

Just went here with my fiance as weve been searching for a good quiet place to fish every weekend. The guy at the main entrance said we could take a look around the lake before signing up so we walked down a little ways to check it out. Apparently we went too far and some lady in a black SUV come flying down a back road to kick us out. We politely told her that the guy at the front told us we could see the lake. She proceeded to tell us that this wasnt the bottom of the hill and that we werent supposed to go past the hill. Now we were confused because there was no mention of this when we started our walk. Clearly the customer service here is something to be desired if your trying to run over potential customers because your employees dont know the rules.

Went to look at lake julian and was genuinely interested in joining their membership (despite the crazy prices) until i asked to view the lake itself where i was told to go ahead and check it out. then halfway down the lake my fiancee and i were almost run over by a lady in a SUV yelling at me that i couldnt go past the bottom of the hill(where u cant see the lake from) unless i payed 50$ and signed the waiver. I told her that its insane to pay for something before seeing what u purchased. She then proceeded to stare us down and forcefully tell us to leave the lake area. And this was during our tour of the lake so i could only imagine the nightmare of this lady while being a member and trying to fish

Lake Juilan was something fun to do with the family, took the daughter fishing for the first time. Lots of fish in the big lake, we didnt catch any this time but we will definitely go there again as we bought the 50 dollar membership. Nice place to hang out at fishing. We really enjoyed our time there.

Absolutely amazing place!! I love taking first timers here to get an easy catch and build confidence! The selection in the bait shop has all you need, including snacks and drinks. Staff seems helpful and willing to give tips if you cant get a bite!!
