This Food Lion is extremely disgusting. Old fruit, expired bread, spoiled veggies, the list goes on. Management must force their employees to put “old things” up front and let the “newer” merchandise stay in the back. The unsuspecting customer purchases the item thinking it’s “fresh”, takes it home, and a day later it’s rotten. Poor customer service and what takes the cake…the bags are FLIMSY and cheap but the employees are taught to NOT allow the customer to “double bag”. How bout them apples! (No pun intended)

This was originally a Food Town way back in the day. The parking lot is the original pavement from Food Town. Youll need to carry anything in a glass bottle, but your Yoo Hoos will ready to drink as soon as you get to your car. Edit: Its been partially repaved.

Much better than typical Food Lions and am greeted here more often than not which is why I’m happy and giving 4 stars. Prices can be sometimes high which is why I removed the 5th star but this is my favorite Food Lion in the Triangle and much better than the one on 54 in Morrisville.

It is one of the older stores, but cleaner than it has been in the past. I guess due to COVID restrictions. Usually a little crowded, but seem to have enough registers open.

I didnt believe the hype. I was not going to be taken in by the commercials that touted saving on a grand scale by shopping at Food Lion. Was I surprised when I actually did visit the Food Lion on Kildaire Farm in Cary. First, the store was very clean and spacious. There was actally enough room to roam the aisles without bumping into a fellow shopper. The customer service was some of the best I have encountered ever! There were smiles, asking if they could assist and thanks for my patronage.To top the entire experience was the fact that you COULD actually save the money that the commercials promised. Truth in advertising! Who knew!! I am now a convert. You will find me at my local Food Lion at least 2-3 times a week. Join me! Your wallet will thank you and anyone who enjoys eating well-priced, quality food will thank you too!

Very clean but for people that are physically disabled the need for more handicapped parking is a must. I had to park in the middle of the parking lot. Secondly the mobile wheelchairs or scooter carts are placed by the exit doors meaning I had to HOBBLE (bc I can barely walk with a cane) all the way around everything in the front of the store just to get to them while being watched by two employees. Then they watched me trying to get a chair as if I was amusing them so while they stared I politely asked if one of them could unplugged the chair which he did. The chairs should have been by the entry door, not the exit door

I love this Food Lion. It is clean and the employees that I come across are always friendly and helpful. I went today on Christmas Eve and there were plenty of people working, the place was running like a well-oiled machine despite being busy. Its a great store!

Not really satisfied with the customer service here. I shop here all the time and not one person has assisted me with anything. I see managers and clerks look me in my eyes no one spoke asked if I was finding everything or anything they just look, had one person look over the aisle to “ensure” I wouldn’t steal anything and it was pretty obvious....these employees need to learn customer service and cultural backgrounds. Not sure if’s because I’m a black man with Locs but the experience here always the same...

Since I moved from that particular area, I dont frequent the store as much as I used to. Its a few miles for me now, but I made the trip. The store has been remodeled, and is nice and bright. The aisles are further apart,which is a good thing for passing other customers!!

It was a bit busier than I thought it would be for a late Sunday evening. But I got what I needed and was in and out in about 15 minutes. The cashier was standing outside her register and greeted me as I walked up. Very friendly. Refrigerated dairy section was a little confusing (missing the sign for milk). But other than that one of the better locations for Food Lion.

Great location, very clean and always have everything youre looking for. The employees are very helpful here, and will even go in the back room to get something if its not on the shelf. I recommend anyone who lives near here to definitely give it a shot.

Food prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They made a few breads for us while we waited. When the bread was ready the Baker brought it to us in an aisle we were shopping in. They even bring you to self serve registers if it gets busy and they ring it up. Marisol keeps everything running smoothly.

If you love local beer(like me), food lion is great place to get it. Anyway there is food lion almost everywhere you go. And I like it!

Very neat and clean store. Seasonal fruits and vegetables are always in. They have a great variety of sea food. I love Hershey’s Chocolate cake from the bakery section.

I am giving this store 5 stars because Marisol in Customer Service went above and beyond to assist me!! I called to speak to the butcher to see if he had a certain cut of meat. Unfortunately, the butcher was gone for the day. Marisol offered to check the meat shelves. She came back to inform me yes!! My items were available. What a pleasure it is to speak with someone that helpful. Most custoner service people barely answer the phone, much less actually help you. Kudos to Marisol!!

The produce, deli, meats, dairy, and floor managers and tellers are very friendly and helpful. The parking is great in the Mayfair Plaza which includes a bank & ATM, two restaurants, discount store, Carolina pottery, RAC, and a full Yoga center!

The store has been remodeled and feels new. Gluten-free products are well labeled and easy to find with overhead signage.
