My husband and I have been to this shop three times this year since finding them but today was the last. Sometimes you give people leeway; maybe they’re having a bad day, maybe they don’t feel well. After three visits this behavior has been consistent every time. Larry Brooks, the individual who assists the customer, comes across as very condescending and rude. When he looks at your stones or jewelry, he immediately starts to pick them apart: the stone, the flaws, the setting, the prongs, etc. If you don’t agree to do what he wants you to do, he refuses to do the work at all. He will find a problem and make you feel like your items are worthless no matter what you bring in. He does not give you the feeling of being welcomed or valued as a customer. In addition, he always wants to know what you paid for something before he is willing to quote you a price. If I need a ring sized or a stone set, what difference does it make how much I paid for the item? How exactly does that effect your price quote? That comes across as very shifty and untrustworthy. The two previous visits where they actually performed work, they definitely made us feel like they were doing us a favor. They’re probably glad they lost a customer today. UPDATE: I took the same ring to Monarch Jewelry and they were WONDERFUL! So polite, friendly and welcoming! The quality of the work they performed on my ring is outstanding! I couldn’t be happier. Glad I finally found a great jeweler at Monarch Jewelry!

As my wife (Dianna) had stated I went with her the last two time as the first time she was treated with such condescending behavior by Larry that she felt it necessary for me to join her in case he was who she had to deal with again. The man behind the scenes that does the work is much friendlier and better to work with as the second time we came in he overruled Larry on his BS and pricing. The 3rd time was the last because Larry got his feelings hurt when we wouldn’t give him the price we paid for the item prior to his quote on the adjustment and resizing. Hey Larry based on the reviewed that’s 3 out of 10 disappointed patrons not 1 in a 1,000. If jewelry repair is your prime business, might want to take some customer service advice from your partner. Sorry, we thought we had found a regular jeweler. Please post if there are any good recommendations out there.

Our family had used this jewelry store for 20+ years so when I recently got engaged this was our obvious choice for sizing my ring. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The sizing is perfect and it was done in less than a week. In the middle of a pandemic!! I cannot say enough good things. You can feel comfortable leaving your pieces with them for repair and the pricing is very reasonable. Fantastic jewelers.

Dont go here! They sent my tag off to get serviced to their local watchmaker. The watchmaker didnt service it right and screwed up my watch. Now I have to send it off to tag huer! The two guys werent apologetic at all when water got into my watch. They told me I couldnt get it into any water. I was beyond mad. Its a tag huer! It can atleast go in 5 ft of water!
