ABC music is a small family music store. They sell instruments and offer private music lessons. My son started learning piano with Dan there. Dan is a great piano teacher who teaches piano music skills and theory. A couple of times we forgot to bring the music book, Jason who works in the store lent one to us. Later on when my son progressed to higher levels, we just simply bought music books in the tore. We also rented a cello from ABC music. Often we just call Jason to change schedules. Its a convenient music store. We are happy to be serviced in this music store in the Castro Valley.

Last Thursday, I bought some strings and asked them to tune and polish it. I was told to come back Saturday, and when I did, they had not even touched the guitar. Without offering an apology, I was told to come back Monday. When I picked it up they did not offer any apology, again. This business does not card about their customers.

Great place congenital atmosphere took Flute in for repair they do good work. I had all 3 of my guitars repaired there in past. They are my go to shop when I need A fix for my instruments

Its a great store but theres a lot of bad stuff that happened to me when i was shopping there. The first thing was that it took almost 45 dollars to restring and tune my violin. i wasnt too mad about that part but the thing that made me do the 3 star was that after 2 days, its out of tune. when i took my violin back from the shop, it seemed like the strings were really stiff and were extremely tight.

We love this store! The staff is helpful and friendly. The instruments available for rent meet the CV school district requirements. The instructors for lessons are so supportive and talented. We are happy with our purchases and rentals.

I have no idea how good they are because I have spent too much time sitting outside their store waiting for it to open! However, I should thank them because the last time I got fed up waiting for them, I found Music Unlimited on E. 14th Street and my music needs are now fulfilled.

Service was great. The person who helped me was nice and the tools were not that expensive. This store has greater prices than other stores. Purchase took a bit too long though.

They are an excellent store. I remember being in second grade when I got my first guitar, a Johnson. Im now 18 and they are still around. I just recently have been taking guitar lessons with James, an excellent teacher. Hes really nice, very easy to get along with, and takes his time to help you with whatever you need. Any song you might need help on, hes there. he helped me with the strumming pattern of The A Team by Ed Sheeran. Definitely stop by A, B, C Music. They are beginning to get a lot more products that are quality with decent pricing.

I dropped my guitar (floyd rose trem) off on a Wednesday to be re-strung, cleaned, and to have the intonation checked/fixed if needed for an upcoming show. The guy at the front desk told me they were busy, but that he would have it done by the following Monday (and said he would try to get it done even sooner). He quoted me $50-$60. All good so far.Monday rolled around and I hadnt heard from them, so I called myself. He said the guitar wasnt done, but that it would definitely be done by Wednesday, and that he would call me. No call. I went in Thursday to pick it up. The guitar hadnt been touched. The delay would have been acceptable if they just kept me updated, but after the runaround, I cant recommend this place to anyone. Added an extra star because service was at least friendly, if anything. Go somewhere else for repairs/maintenance.

Left my guitar there for about 3 weeks and when I went there they still had me wait for 3 hours for my guitar and they wanted me to pay more after I payed 60 Bc I payed 60 for strings they have no idea what they are doing

Great small family music store that been there for decades with all the things most families need for their kids music studies, including books, reeds, strings, instruments, tuners, guitars, amps, bass, drums, horns, violins, etc. Nice staff that really tries to help.
