Rich is the best! He and his workers are very honest. I tend to get my vehicle diagnosed at other garages but his estimates always win out. I love my 2010 Ford Escape and Im confident Rich will keep it running perfectly!

This is my second time here and obviously I came back a second time. Rich has always been upfront and honest with any of the repairs that I needed. Although I don’t live in the area, I drive over an hour to fix any issues I have with my car. I definitely recommend this place and will continue to go there.

Richard and Stephanie were awesome! In and out in under 25 minutes... I should add that they recharged my air conditioning on my Audi. I called a few other places and for some reason they didnt work on Audi vehicles. So shout out to them for handling my situation (I cant stand the heat and thought I was going to die LOL) professionally, and with top tier customer service!

Do not go here and there are more low review ratings read them, I wish I had beforehand. I didnt so I have to write my review of what happened to me. I was ripped off, pressured to get and pay for services I did not need. I dealt with the owner he is a charmer RICH beware he will bleed you for more money. I was charged $1300 for rear and front brakes and rear and front rotors one week later brake light sensor came on. Shop claim nothing was wrong. Days after that when on the highway braking at high speeds, my steering wheel felt like the tires were coming off the car (vibration). I took it back to the shop and was told its not the brakes and its going to cost more money to fix. I know my car, I am the only one who drives my car. I went in just days after my brake light came on. My car was driving and braking in pristine condition no grinding and no squealing, since my car has been in this shop it drives horribly. I never had this issue before. I did have my car looked at by other local mechanics who all agreed I still needed brakes and rotors. Just be careful or better yet...DO NOT waste your time, money or energy. I was taken advantage of. The 2nd time I took my car back to him and he asked for more money that was it for me there was no need to argue about it. I said no and asked to have my car back he gave it back and that was the end of it. I never went back to the shop and didnt talk to Rich ever again.I was more concerned with him saying nothing was wrong with my brakes when I could feel the vibration when braking and the brake light sensor kept appearing. My concern sent me to get a second opinion from other mechanics, report his shop and write this review.Rich is not who he says he is - an honest man. Sad and unfortunate for me, he got away with ripping me off but it doesnt have to continue with you. If you feel you have been taken advantage of please just report him to the BAR Association and let them handle it. Read for yourself the other low rating reviews over the years.

Very friendly place. The owner is super nice and actually explains what’s wrong with your car. I’ve been going to other places to get my oil change and they’ve been over charging me, I went to Meineke and they saved me at least $25 dollars because they were HONEST about what my car needed. Honesty in this industry can be hard to find so I appreciate the owner and his daughter for keeping it real with me, just locked in a happy longterm customer 😊

I had my SRS light on for months, called so many mechanics, until I found these guys. They said they’ll do it. They also said it would take 2hrs, which was fine with me, but it took only an hour. But they fixed the problem. The boss said, if anything happens bring it right back and they’ll fix it right away. Very professional. I recommend these guys 100%

Rich is all about establishing a relationship with the customer instead of just taking their money. He keeps it real with you... for example... If the issue should be corrected or left alone. He fixes problems without overcharging you. He works with you. His son and daughter works with him. Beautiful family. His daughter is HILARIOUS!!! Gotta love her! No one even showed up at the business in the morning to open. People were just standing around waisting time. Someone from a neighboring business had to tell customers no one was going to show up today. Have no idea what will happen with original appt since no one answers the phone.

They are the best gotta say i wont go anywhere else to get my car worked on!

I went because my car ac was just blowing hot air. He said he would charge me 139.00 to recharge my ac, an hour later comes back to tell me ac compressor has blown up and that he now has to charge me more than a thousand dollars. I leave but still end up paying 175.00 dollars for putting in the refrigerant that didn’t work and labor. So basically for nothing.

What can I say? They are good at what they do, and, perhaps just as important, they care about their customers.Heres an update for you. The comments I made above still stand. What I may not have mentioned is that Rich and his crew understand that most peoples budgets are not unlimited, and he will work with you to find a solution that not only leaves your vehicle running well and safe, but doesnt break the bank.

Came in only for an oil change this visit and needed a smog check too... he made sure my oil change was on time and then spoke to Liberty Smog (next door) to let them know he was done and that the truck was ready for him... I won’t take my vehicle anywhere else. Richard over in Cathedral City is one of the only mechanics I’ve ever met that treats me how I feel a valued customer should be treated. Went to see Rich at Meineke on a friends recommendation. Usually I would never get my car serviced at a chain because most of them try to upsell you (that didnt happen here)My AC was blowing hot and making a grinding noise in the engine compartment. Took it in Rich... A few hours later it was fixed.GREAT work at a very Fair Price..... A true HONEST MECHANIC

We took our vehicle for an oil change a few months ago, they informed us there was an oil leak that had ruined a sensor. To repair this, it cost over $700. The car ran well. We took it in for the next oil change where they told us that an oil leak had ruined a sensor and it would be about $700 to fix it. When my husband told me what they diagnosed, I reminded him it was the same problem as before. They didn’t fix it first time and now, we have paid them to do it again. The second repair did not work and the oil now leaks onto the driveway. The work was very poor, the communication is friendly but sit in the office and listen to the stories being told to customers, wow! I’ll never know if I ever had a broken sensor!

I have found a lot of bad mechanics, I count my blessings that I found this one excellent and honest mechanic. If you live in the area or are just visiting the area, take your car to Rich at Meineke.

THE WORST!!! My sister took my car there this week to get an oil change and NOT ONE EMPLOYEE WAS WEARING A MASK! (Sorry, the one who was wearing a mask was wearing it improperly, well below her nose, but no one else was at all). It was horrific as they were not following any Covid 19 guidelines. She was very uncomfortable when two guys got into her car without masks. This was not okay. Also they filled her car with the wrong kind of oil, not what she asked for or paid for. Do not go here if you care about your health and safety or your car.

Waste of time and money but thats how it is if you dont know much about cars but I do know the spark plugs I bought at AutoZone were ok to be used but the owner of the Meineke said no I needed to use ngk which costed 28 each and add that four times. The ones I got at AutoZone costed 12 for four. And the repairs kept going up and up in till finally I said enough and paid almost 300 for nothing. I never am going to go to this place again. Plus I am learning about car engines and other things so I wont be as uneducated the next time I go to a repair place.

Great Experience here. Went for a muffler delete and they had it done with roughly an hour and some change. Rich said he would charge me XXX and he charged me exactly what he said he would. No upselling, no condescending nonsense, etc. Very welcoming and they treat their employees with great respect. If youre tired of mechanics and dealerships ripping you off, look no further.
