I had some work done on my control panel identifying what breaker goes where. They labeled all the switches in the box. Recommend changing a few old ones out. I had never used Electrician for Hire before but read some really good reviews and decided to try them. I also try to use local, family owned businesses as much as possible too. We had a terrible cable signal and needed a direct line in to two tvs. I also had several outdoor lights fixed and new ones installed. Rick, Roy, Ricky, Jose and Julie in the office took excellent care of us. They are thoughtful, conscience, honest and do really great work. Im a realtor and I had Rick come out to do a re-inspection for my buyer on a property I had sold. He and his assistant were extremely thorough and were able to give a accurate description of the problems and a fair estimate for the repair. I called at 630am to see if I could get a tech to help before I went to work that morning. It wasnt technically an emergency but I just wanted to make sure the problem was taken care of before I left the house for the day and have some piece of kind. The operator said she call to see if a tech could come out. Within 10 minutes she called back and said someone would be there anytime between 7am and 8am. I was so happy. The van pulled up around 730am and 2 guys came in and took care of the issue and were done within 20 mins. I was so glad that everything was taken care of and they were guick with answering the phone, the response time and the work. Ill gladly recommend this company to anyone.

Electrician for Hire was awesome to work with, the interaction was seamless. DHS has some particular hoops you have to jump thru in order to upgrade a panel. We had gotten 3 quotes and they were the only company that mentioned that we’d need a permit from the city and several inspections. They helped coordinate the inspections and installed the panel beautifully. They even thought to ask if we’d like it solar compatible, we did and hadn’t remembered to bring it up!We’ll definitely be working with them again for all of our electric needs.

After reading the reviews I chose them to check on my outdoor lights that were flickering. The technician was able to quickly diagnose and fix it within the first half hour so I didn’t have to pay more than the $95 quote so I am happy. Right now everything seems to be working properly.

I hired this company to fix my dusk sensor and also check on 4, 12-V yard lights that are not fully working (dim). Should be a small job. 3 techs came in and spent two hours with a final charge of $405.00 for their labor and material (one new dusk to dawn sensor). Outcomes: 1- The dusk to dawn sensor still does not work despite the sensor being good, 2- The yard lights were not fixed. I didnt mind the outrageous fee he asked for but I did mind the fact the he will not honor his work. Imagine you pay north of $400 and the techs do not fix any of the two problems they came in for!! He offered to come back and continue - while of course continuing to charge by the hour - to fix the dusk sensor. After paying $400 in vain, I dont think its a good idea! Seems they care more about money than value. Well, they lost a customer.

I thought their quoted rate was high but they were local so I chose them. They were on time, fixed my problems quickly within the first half hour charge so I was happy. They were knowledgable and didnt try to add on extra unneeded repairs. I asked them to quote other unnecessary work but that seemed high too so I passed. I would call them again if I had a problem.
