They have a lot of furniture, nice stuff for a good price. But the shelves are empty and they are constantly moving the merchandise. Oh and the prices are not as cheap as you might think. If your looking to buy furniture or home goods like quilts, sheets, bath towels ect then I definitely recommend stopping in. They even sell vacuums. But small things like candles are hit or miss.

I have such a bad memory but the two young ladies at the counter they were just so helpful. I got a professional curling iron for $4 the kind I wanted have been looking for and it just didnt happen by accident. Jesus knew. The cashier had the curling iron scanning its she said she wanted to make sure because the lady had got it for $4. I asked her was there anymore she said well this is the last one it was only two so I said oh Ill take it so I got it🤩 I get tired of the Flat irons I want something with the barrel. And not a gun already have that. LOL🤣

ASHLEY?? I hope you one day read this. We came all the way from Fairfax, VA to get the ONLY sectional that would coordinate with our living room and you made this possible! Even with a few stumbling blocks, you walked right over it and said “listen, I can make this work.” and.. DID. You deserve a ton of salute for your hard work, care, customer service and just that overall “I can do this” attitude. I rather drive over a hour almost and pass up 20 Big Lots just to be around you and your energy to give BL business. Thank you so much for your hard work and family orientated customer service! Big lots is not what it use to be, you could find great stuff there, but its main purpose is to sale furniture, so its not my favorite place anymore.

This Reisterstown store stays stocked. I have to travel 20 miles to this store because all the other Big Lots stay empty and never get trucks in with deliveries.

Ashley and Douglas were incredibly helpful with a large furniture order and displayed excellent conflict resolution skills when we encountered a problem and worked to a successful resolution.

Always enjoy the deals and they usually have something new to try. Join the big lots and get great discounts and coupons. The staff was awesome today. A cutie was also building an outdoor gazebo.....

We were referred from another Big Lots location to the Catonsville store as they had the item that we were looking for. We were welcomed by the store manager, unfortunately I dont remember her name. Shout out to her for helping us with the furniture, checking us out, and helping with our car loading. Great customer service and organized store with plenty of items available.

You can find some pretty good things that you would find at other stores for way higher prices you can find it here for a lot less such as supplies for your home and a lot of other things

Had majority of items there except they really dont carry Mens clothing or underwear just lacking on that other then nice place to shop...

Initially my experience in purchasing furniture was positive & I even tipped the worker & manager $20 as a lunch courtesy for assisting me load the furniture. Next day, I discovered the missing: dresser handles & night stand USB ports I called the store. The same manager that assisted me with loading questioned my compliant via telephone & insisted I bring the nightstand to prove items were missing. Once arrived with the items, the manager & staff member were unprofessional, called the customer rude, failed to listened & were confrontational when told by the customer that the nightstand we saw @ Columbia store had USB ports. The reason for coming to Catonsville for purchase was the other Big Lot stores in Alexandria VA or Columbia MD did not have all the furniture selection for purchase. The Big Lots in Columbia MD was professional & great customer service & verified there were USB ports on the nightstand & verified the Catonsville manager & staff called to verify statements. Stay away Big Lots in Catonsville MD if you seek quality customer service.

Always love a big lots trip and this location is one of the best around. Good parking lot with lots of room and usually a cleaner than expected store. Employees always friendly and polite, cracking jokes and offering to help however they can. Store always has the picked over feeling and aisles can quickly become cluttered with things that had fallen off the shelves. Bathroom always surprisingly nice and quality of items can surprise you too.

Excellent customer service. Mr. Cliff was the person assisting me in the furniture department and he was well mannered, kind, resourceful, funny, polite, patience and delightful. Great I was in and out

Sometimes youll find really good deals here, especially on their 20% events. However I was really disappointed on Black Friday. They made it seem like stuff was on sale, but most things were still normal sticker price. Over time Ive found the only consistent deals here are on snack foods and canned foods.

Kind of like an updated version of the old 5&dime stores....... A decent selection of almost every kind of common items at reasonable prices, but dont expect top quality or fancy features. Many stores have an expanded section of furniture.

I went to Big Lots to get flea collars and flea medicine for my cats. Thankfully, they had both in stock and for cheaper then Walmart or Petco! The staff was courteous and quick, getting me out of the store in less then 30 minutes!

I enjoy this Big Lots. There is always parking available. The manager and staff are always willing to assist you in finding things and carrying them or loading items into your car. And the shelves are well stocked. I dont feel like the place has been picked over when I am browsing.
