I have brought several instruments to the Band Shoppe for repairs and maintenance (including a 100-year-old Gibson mandolin). Lee and Cole have done very impressive work on all of them. Their knowledge of the history and workings of musical instruments is incredible, and its clear that they really care about their work. I highly recommend the Band Shoppe.

I don’t know many technicians that have the ability or desire to machine me a part for my instrument in total dedication to my very fussy requests. Lee and his crew are top notch and devoted to quality work over anything. Consultations on repair or purchasing equipment are always reasonable and rational. WOW. Could not have been more impressed with the customer service and the level of expertise when it came to the instrument repair needed. My girls bari sax looks fantastic and--even more important--sounds better than it has in years! Not only did they fix everything that needed to be fixed, they walked me through everything that had been wrong with it, how it affected the instrument, and how they repaired it. We will definitely be bringing the bari back here for any needed maintenance or repair.

I’ve come to The Band Shoppe several times over the past few years for basic band instrument cleaning and pesky repairs. I’ve always been able to get the instruments back within a week or two, even during the summer when other places were not even accepting repairs or turn around time was a month minimum. Prices are extremely reasonable and Lee really goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect. Couldn’t be happier with the service.

I wouldn’t trust my instrument with anyone else. Lee is a musicians’s musician.

Lee is a consummate professional, is meticulous in his care in repairing and refurbishing the instruments we provide him, and hes an even better all-around guy. He gives back to his community in which he lives and works, teaches courses to other technicians around the world, and shares his love of music with everyone. He even donates instruments and equipment back to our charity on occasion. The Band Shoppe SAVED me! My daughter had an accident with her professional instrument and had important audition plus her college audition tapes due less than a week later. We were frantic. They fixed my soprano sax fast for a low price

Lee at The Band Shoppe fixed my 13 year old electric violin that I thought was completely broken. He was able to make the violin look brand new and was able to repair all of its electrical issues. Initially, my high school students were disappointed that the electric violin wouldnt even turn on the day before their school concert. Now, they are thrilled that they can use the violin and play it with ease.Lee also saved the day when one of our basss end pins broke and he was able to provide extremely quick service and made a custom made part so that my student could use his bass in the winter concert.I highly recommend The Band Shoppe because your instrument will come back quickly in fantastic condition and will be working good as new!
