Went to a couple different bridal shops and found the designer I was looking for at An Elegant Affair. They helped me find a dress that was perfect! All of the staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Their seamstress is amazing and does great work! Really flexible and helped me work around my busy work schedule. Highly recommend!

Jen and her team are fabulous at helping pick the perfect dress for your big day. And once you decide on the one, the help you even more along the way with try-ons and fittings. We also ordered our tuxedos from the store and it was a very smooth process as well. Highly recommend when wedding planning!!

Liz was incredible! She was so nice and helped make my first time trying on dresses a smooth process! She did not make us feel rushed or pressured to make any decisions. She was very knowledgeable on the gowns and what could and couldn’t be changed on them. It was my first time trying on dresses and I found my dream dress and was able to cancel my other appointments and was so glad I chose to go to an elegant affair first and didn’t have to waste any time going anywhere else! The staff at An Elegant Affair are so talented! Professional, fun, knows their dresses and were just as excited for me when I found my dream dress as I was. When my dress and my bridesmaid dresses arrived they went above and beyond sending me pictures of them all lined up together and shipped my out of state bridesmaid dresses. I drove 4 hours round trip each time I went for a dress fitting and was worth the drive with the excellent customer service and expertise. The day of the wedding I received many compliments at how perfect my dress looked on me!

I had such a good experiences here! This is the first place I went wedding dress shopping, and I ended up getting it from here. I like their system a lot, better than the other three places I went. I got to go around and look at dresses by myself and select ones I liked. As I tried them on with an employee, she picked up on my preferences and made suggestions of other dresses to try based on what I liked. Fair prices, and great customer service! I definitely recommend.

I didnt feel like a bride. I felt as if I was below them. I wanted to be measured 1st before trying dresses on and they told me they dont do that right away, so I figured they would do that after I found a dress. Nope. Didnt do that either. Really didnt make me feel like they even tried to help me find The one. I do not recommend to any plus sized bride over a size 22 or a bride with an actual chest. I went in hopeful and positive and left discouraged and depressed. I also tried to show them and talk to them about what exactly I wanted and felt as if I was dismissed. Very unhappy with my experience.

Six weeks from my wedding day, after falling out of love with my first dress, I was looking for a specific Made With Love gown that I had tried on earlier in the process. Not only did Jen and her team have the dress, they didn’t hesitate to help me. Endless tears, constant nerves and one road trip across the Midwest later, Jen’s team gave me the dress of my dreams – and the perfect veil to go with it. Walked in there looking for a dress for my daughter, the lady was nice until I told her what my daughters budget was. Then she told me, we dont have no dresses that cheap. Sorry, have a nice day, hope your daughter finds what shes looking for. very rudely. I would not recommend this place unless you have a bunch of money to spend.

I had the best experience here. The first time I went out looking for a dress I felt so pressured to purchase a dress that day and was informed it would be over $500 in alterations. Made me hesitant to go look other places and I just wanted to order offline. Then my sisters talk me into checking out Elegant Affair and I was so blown away. Working with Emily she helped me feel like it would be my choice with the dress and I felt no pressure to purchase that day. BUT I feel so in love with a dress there that I did purchase that day and would highly recommend An Elegant Affair to any bride in the Cedar Valley or anyone willing to travel here for the top notch experiences every bride wants! I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from An Elegant Affair and they looked stunning on the girls. The dresses arrived after 1 1/2-2 months of ordering them. They were very reasonably priced, and the employees were easy to work with. I did not order my wedding dress from here, as I found one at a different store that was the one for me (dont get me wrong, An Elegant Affair has many dresses to choose from and they are gorgeous!). After running into many difficulties with the other store, I am now referring ALL brides to An Elegant Affair for their bridal needs. The same store that I ordered my dress from told me 3 weeks after supposedly ordering my veil that they no longer could get it. I was now in a big time crunch to order a veil as my wedding was quickly approaching. I went to An Elegant Affair Bridal to see if they could help me out and Jen, the owner, assured me that I would have a veil for my wedding and that she would help me out. In fact, she had an extra veil in stock and it ended up being perfect for me! Like stated above, I will be referring all brides to An Elegant Affair Bridal in Cedar Falls!

I can’t even begin to thank Jen and her staff for everything they did to make my vision of my dress come true. I got my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses from An Elegant Affair and I was very pleased! My dress and all the bridesmaids dresses were beautiful! They were one of the only bridal shops that I really liked and felt gave me an awesome experience while shopping there! Other shops were not very pleasant or helpful and didnt have as good of a selections or as beautiful of dresses! Jen and all her girls were soo sweet and helpful every time I came in! All my dress alterations were done perfectly. When we ordered the girls dresses in and got them, they fit perfectly! So they measured them well! They were always helpful when I called with questions as well and gave me lots of good advice! Thanks so much Elegant Affair!!

I would give them more stars if i could!! i lost weight, my dress i originally purchased was way too big and alterations could not be done. i went here not knowing if i had any kind of options with the short amount of time i had, and they were absolutely amazing!!! i found a dress, and had all the alterations done that were needed. i would recommend this place a thousand times.

This is such a great shop. I went in to find a wedding dress and after trying on several I had picked out, my attendant went and grabbed something she thought I would like. Of course it was the one I ended up choosing! They paired it with a belt I never would have picked up and it looks perfect. For a smaller shop they have a wide variety of dresses and are very reasonably priced. I got great one-on-one attention and never felt rushed. So glad I got my dress here!

An Elegant Affair was so helpful and welcoming. When I first went I narrowed my dress search down to 5 beautiful gowns then on my second visit found my gorgeous wedding dress. Jacy helped me all along the way with great customer service. Whenever I went back to the shop for fittings I was greeted by name, I had the greatest experience!

I had a very positive experience with An Elegant Affair and would recommend them to any bride. I not only got my dress there but my bridesmaid and junior bridesmaid dresses there as well. Owner Jen and her girls were always there to answer any questions that I may have had. If I needed a swatch, it would be mailed to me immediately. Alterations were always timely. Not to mention, we had an issue with one of my bridesmaid dresses being too small, but An Elegant Affair quickly took care of it, so that was one less thing I had to worry about. If I could give them over a 5 for a rating, I would.

I have never shopped here but I had a slight emergency when I realized today was the last day I could submit my measurements for my sister’s bridesmaid dresses, and this place saved my life!! I walked in frantically and one of the women there eased my mind and quickly did my measurements even though I wasn’t a customer. Not to mention their store is ADORABLE!
