Ive been going here for close to a decade now for my nerdy needs and the past few years for the super hot sexy haircuts. You heard that right, you can get comics, board games, Magic: the Gathering, D&D supplies, and a haircut all in one place! If they start serving food and alcohol here I might never have an excuse to leave... Beyond this, the owner Rob is a very charismatic dude who is passionate and knowledgeable about everything in his store. He also gives wicked discounts on stuff. If youre not shopping here you are really missing out on one of the treasures of the Cedar Valley.

His staff, though changing regularly, is knowledgeable in the comics they sell and will give honest reviews. I visited Limited Edition Comics for the first time on Free Comic Book Day about 12 years ago. Exactly one year later, I visited a second time, and Rob remembered my name. I was blown away. Ive been going there regularly for comic books, board games, collectibles, and a haircut ever since (thats right, you can get your hairs cut there too). This is a fantastic place with awesome people. A SUPER place!

Amazing. Simply amazing. Rob and his mom are top notch, funny as hell, a little wacky, and always ready to help. Been going for years. Had to stop going for a while. Came back and started up right where I left off and they were very patient. They always talk to you by name and chat with you like your family. Went into the other place in town some years ago and they wouldnt even give me 5 minutes to help guide me through the initial process. Now I read 30 plus active covers thanks to Rob and his mom. Seriously, theyre the best.

I live in Cedar Rapids and I frequent the various Comic Book stores in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. At least I used to until visiting Limited Edition Comics on the advice of friends. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A lot of comic/card/game stores give off an exclusionary vibe, like they didnt want you if you werent into comics/cards/collectables. Never once do I get that impression here.Ive had instances where if they didnt carry what I was looking that they were willing to have it ordered and hold it for me until I came back the next time to pick it up, which could be weeks or a month between visits. The store is close to 60 miles from where I live and I happily make the trip at least once a month. Even when Im just browsing the staff are happy to make friendly suggestions or tell me when they will have a sale, which is quite frequent. I never leave the store without making a purchase. Great service, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the subject matter, clean store. No complaints!

Its a small shop that is mostly comics but they do carry some board games. The great thing is that their board games are 20% off msrp, all of them! Im pretty sure thats all the time. Very unusual for a game store. Will definitely be visiting again. I travel a fair amount so i check out lots of game stores around the country and the owner is probably one of the nicest & outgoing shop owners Ive ever met.

Absolutely fantastic. My father and I have gone there several times and they treat us and every other customer like old friends, which is really refreshing compared to the comic shops in and around Cedar Rapids.
