From out of town, tried this place today! Appetizers were great, we were excited about the large menu.Service was good. I ordered a triple cheeseburger and tator tots.My burger was almost black. I am not a very picky eater! It was lacking cheese.. I did smother it in ketchup, but the charred flavor was hard to get past. My tator tots were extremely crispy. In fact i could break one apart with my fingers. It just cracked everywhere. I would be willing to give this place another try, as the atmosphere was nice. I hate making complaints and happily left a decent tip. The elote bites were excellent and my parties food seemed to be decent as well!
Weve been here twice. A few months ago we went and all got chicken strips because they were on special. They were pretty tasty. We all got fries too, and all of us thought they were extremely salty. Not inedible, in fact they were tasty, but after a few you started to realize that it was A LOT of salt. We finally decided to go back a 2nd time to give some other menu items a chance. We both got steakhouse burgers, which were very good. Juicy burgers, flavorful toppings. My husband said the onion rings were great. I tried the ranch coleslaw. I usually am a fan of ranch, but something about it in the coleslaw just didnt work for me. I dont know if it was a bad batch or it just didnt suit my personal taste. The price did seem like a bit much for the burgers, especially if you go for the upcharge for some of the special sides ($13.50 for the burger and a side, + $3 to upgrade to the onion rings). The waitress was very good. Attentive, brought a tap list promptly, asked if our toddler needed anything, etc.
Wife had lunch today and ordered a hamburger that was so burnt it couldn’t be eaten. Waitress didn’t have a problem saying sorry and doing nothing about it.
Service was ok. Traning staff during and was doing well. Food tasted good and served promptly. However shortly after our visit my wife and I were both violently Ill.When finally I could call them and I asked to speak with mngr and was told infact I was talking to mngr. I told her of our Illness and the fact we shared whiskey onion rings with ranch. She seemed unconcerned that we were struck Ill telling me she would check with the kitchen staff. Did not ask my name it even offer a sorry or a thankyou for the warning. I was not calling for a refund or condolences. But was a little taken aback by her I dont care attitude.

Five of us stopped in for a couple drinks and dinner. The whiskey on the rocks was a very light pour. The mixers were good though. The wraps were pretty awesome! The burgers were large and juicy. The whiskey glazed onion rings were very good. Quite a few different types of beers. Kind of a younger crowd place last night but clean and not all that loud. TVs around playing different sports. The staff were very good. Polite, helpful and very attentive. Did not have to wait for anything. We will be back!
Literally just putting this for Eli, had him a couple different times at pump haus and he was always so nice even when it was super busy (as a server I know this is hard! lol) but had to give 5 stars because of him and the other servers I’ve had are great too I just can’t remember their names, I’m sorry! Anyways, love coming here with my friends!
Great atmosphere with good bar food! They have a good beer section. We’ve stopped in for a few work lunches over the years, good service!

Slightly better than your typical American bar and grill. Variety of options from burgers to wraps to baskets. Gets loud, but I suppose thats to be expected of a pub. TVs at every booth in case youre not interested in talking to your family/friends (I find them annoying/distracting). Friendly staff, most of whom seem to enjoy their jobs.Ive decided Im going to start talking about seating...as a plus-size man.The booths are narrow. However, the tables are not bolted into the floor, so if youre with a skinny person who loves you, you can scoot it away from you. Most tables are high-tops.

Good food is a common experience. The setting is cool, an old building with some nice woodwork and character. We like to eat upstairs. Good menu selections, primarily sandwiches. I prefer the 3 pigs, a grilled tenderloin with bacon and ham. We also really like the spinach and artichoke dip.

Ive been to Pump Haus many times & the food was great but this time I was very disappointed. The service was not that great & it was not busy. I ordered the boneless wings & they were more like popcorn chicken. Definitely not worth what I paid. I did have a strawberry daiquiri. It was good. I will think twice though about going back.
A lively place that can be extremely loud if you are sensitive to noise. The food was good and many items served in generous portions. My biggest complaint is that the waitress was unfamiliar with the menu. I asked for hot tea or hot cocoa. She said they didn’t have it. They do. Then I ordered a salad which was suppose to contain walnuts. There were no walnuts. Although the salad was still tasty. I’d give this place another try.

Really bad spot. Of the few places around... This one is just one of the worst. Really really rude service. Super mediocre food. Waitress lets your beer sit on the bar until it reaches room temp, and then comes around and hustles you for more tips after your blah meal. Go to one of the other terrible places around. Safe yourself.

Wait staff was awesome. We had a very enjoyable time while dining, but was somewhat surprised at size of bill when received. It wasnt more than it should have been, but didnt really feel like a great value. Might return someday, but will be much more careful in ordering (no alcohol on order, so it wasnt that)
Always liked this place but after yesterday’s visit we will probably never return. While the service was good, the food and drinks were terrible. Upon leaving and within 15 minutes I became ill. Shortly after, the other party member became ill. We are both still not feeling great from yesterday.
It is more like a 3.5 but the food took forever to come out and it was not busy at all. We went in around 12:15 and it took at least 30 min to get our food. Chicken was cold when I got my food. Had better, quality is not what it used to be. Service was probably a 2.9 I had to keep asking for stuff that had been ordered that should have been on the ticket. They took Tater tots to my son who ordered fries. They brought fries out but like I said when we walked in there was only two other booths being used.

Burgers are huge, but not really flavored. Fun items on them, but burger itself needs some seasoning. Twisted chips are very good. Wraps were a little dry, and slightly bland. Not bad food, just not very flavorful. Price is about what you would pay at Applebees,etc
We had an everything wrap and shrimp tacos. Both very good, good service, fun place. Tots, onion rings, and mushroom avocado apps were also great. Great dipping sauces.
The overall experience was OK. The meat on the burger was great quality. Not the same as you would find at any other place in the metro. I ordered the egg burger. The bread was simply thin sandwich bread, which quickly turned to mush. I had to eat this burger with a fork and knife. I did see other burgers fly by us with more sturdy and hearty buns, but not mine. The fries were over-cooked, terrible quality and cold. None of the five of us, including our small children ate the fries. I would suggest a different side. My wife had the Monte Cristo- It was very good. The server was flustered. We ran out of drinks half way through the meal, he wasn’t around for refills. Prices were on par and the atmosphere was comfortable.

Service was great! But I ordered the chili cheese fries and it tasted definitely not like chili. The meat in there had the texture of dog food. Feel sick from it. The chicken tendere were good. But please review the chili
Family friendly by day and college bar by night. Great sports bar! Nice food menu and I recommend the Quesadilla burger. Nice beer selection compared to the other college bars in Cedar Falls. Friendly and considerate staff from what I have experienced and on one occasion during a busy hour my table was given a beer pitcher of beer because of the wait.

The new menu is amazing. I got the breakfast burger for lunch and was blown away. It was so good one of the guys I was with for lunch went back that night for dinner as well. If you haven’t been to pump haus in a while, go try the new menu, you won’t be sorry.
Wish I could give less than a star. I’ve never ever EVER felt so sick immediately after eating something, but pump haus somehow managed to give me literally the worst bowel movement of my life as soon as I ate their soggy gross chicken strips. I would describe it but that would be way too gross. All I can say is you couldn’t pay me to eat there again.
We will definitely be back! Happy hour drinks and appetizers are a fabulous.
Great bar for food and drinks. Darts and pool table are a plus for those who like to play some games.
Waitress upstairs (Ainsland) sp was the best waitress Ive ever had. Awesome! She carried beers from downstairs 3 times and had an awesome personality.

Drinks are good. Well priced. Have never been too excited about their food. Their burgers are more of a fine puree, meat loaf. Not my style.
I had a Buffalo chicken wrap and it was DELICIOUS. Pump haus usually pumps out really good food. Gets messy during the bar hours though.

Best burgers in town. As a bonus they serve tater-tots. I guess it is the kid in me that likes this option so much. Beer selection is limited. Prices are reasonable and the place is noisy but fun and comfortable.
Food was great but service was not. I know the servers were new but they did not know the menu and messed up both orders. They were sweet girls though, its not their fault they were not trained properly.
Do yourself a favor and try the totchos. Good Lord they are good, but bring a friend to share. Portions are big and tasty, atmosphere is perfect for a pub

Great place for a beer on game day! Just remind them how many you had, those dollar beers can add up and my waiter accidentally charged me for more than I had. We joked about it saying Im not a lush! Great people!
Nice people. If you go early in the day there wont be as many people as they usually get super packed. The menu prices can be slightly expensive but trust me it is worth it!

Husband was charged 25¢ for barbeque sauce that can only be described as a combination of A-1 and ketchup. The drink special was $3.50 double wells. I ordered a double vodka cranberry, they charged me 25¢ for the cranberry juice. The food is good and the servings are decent. They just nickel and dime you.
Not bad, food came out quickly. Waitress was nice and attentive. Wraps were kind of cold, like all the non cooked ingedients took over the cooked chicken..jack and coke was a little watery...
We had a decent experience, just a few minor annoyances. We walked right in and found a table, waiter got us drinks quickly and overall very good service. We got two different beers and we both agreed they were flat. Not sure if that was a coincidence? We thought the food was very very good, specifically the beer fries and burgers. However, we were shocked to get the bill. For two beers and burgers with fries it was $35 because they nickeled and dime you on condiments, side upgrades. Definitely should have looked closer at that.
They were slow to bring the food. I ordered my kids food first so when it was done they could eat first. The server brought my food first then theirs. I am not a server but as a parent you always would rather wait than eat before your kids. Mind you this was the second time this happened. Do not eat there if you want consistent 10-12 min service, which is the industry average. Service was Terrible, other tables that ordered after us received their food before us. I was specific with server bring kids food first, she did not listen. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!
Ok for a bar. A few food items were good. One of the wraps was inedible. Waitress was clearly in wrong line of work. Tater tots were great. We had to wipe the table down before sitting - kind of a big indicator for me.

I always end my weekend nights at 2 places & lately its been at Pump. If Im partying Ill make sure to stop by & get myself at least one drink here, because everyone stops by. The crowd is often filled with those who like EDM, so you get a unique mixture of people.
Good food but the parking downtown sucks and makes it impossible to go here more often.

A+ service dog experience. As they should, staff completely ignored that the service dog and one in training were with us.Waitress checked on us often. Bacon Chicken Ranch Wrap was delicious.

Food is good enough. But Im curious why they add an extra charge to put it in a box to go. Its a $10 hamburger and fries....why they need to charge extra for a plastic Styrofoam sandwich box and 2 packets of ketchup is beyond me.

Menu changed. Loved this place before, but now they no longer offer their regular fries, only beer battered. No choice. Took the Monte Cristo off of menu. Had to ask if they could still make it. They could and did. Who knows how long gone before that goes away too. Highly disappointed. Prob last time well come here.
