Very clean and well stocked grocery store/ everything everything else. Good tasting pre-prepared food, wide verity of wines and walk in beer cooler.

Steve the Cheese Guy takes such good care of me every time I drop by to pick up my charcuterie needs 😁 Today, he gave me an impromptu tasting including an array of soft cheeses, pepper jelly, and crackers! Ladies night will be more fabulous than ever. I highly encourage you to stop by the next time you are preparing for a gathering or special occasion, makes life easy!

I usually have a 5 star experience at College Square Hy-Vee. Today my shopping experience was different. The reason? Annoying, frequent, LOUD announcements over the loudspeaker advertising ways to get 48 cans of beer. It was a bit much.

Nice and clean with first class meat counter, wine & spirits section and cheese shop. Always clean and employees are well trained and helpful. Only complaint is not super traffic flow in front of the store but not that bad

Honestly I cant say much about the Cedar Falls store. I went their for the Cookies BBQ wagon. We had to go inside by deli to pay as the registers were not working outside. As always the Cookies wagon is a plus. Love the 2 racks of ribs for 35 dollars. They were still warm 2 hours later at 6 to eat. Used some Cookies sweet hickory on top. Delicious!!!

Always clean and the prices are always competitive. Plus their bakery, deli, and restaurant are fantastic. Just an fyi, they cater events and do a great job.

This review is based on quality of employment. Full disclosure I am I former employee here. I left after giving 2 weeks noticeDont work here. As a non-managerial staff you will more often than not be looked down upon by your supervisors. Your schedule will change without giving you notice as early as 9 hours before the new scheduled shift with no recourse. You WILL be wrote up. No, you will not be made aware them. Other employees may be notified of them by managerial staff however.You will not be aided on your first day. My first day I showed up 15 minutes early but wasnt sure where to go or how to clock in. I approached the nearest manager, Lucas, who was at the time this stores Director. I was immediately scolded in front of God and everyone for not having a nametag and was told I would be wrote up for this.If youre unlucky enough to be placed in Wine and Spirits you will have the unpleasant experience of working with Matt van Ee. Matt will use flowery language of an unknown to most dialect of English to give you tasks that you have to decipher without youre own Rossetta Stone. If he decides he does not like you, he will lie to HR about your performance going as far saying managers who youve never worked with have nasty things to say a out you. HR is a useless cancer in any business, and of course they arent there for your best interest. They will side against in the most inappropriate fashions.In short, do not work here. Its a negative environment and should be avoided for employment at all costs.

They seem to have all the groceries Ill ever need. They have a good selection of beer and spirits, and tons of great food in their kitchens. Hy Chi is some of the best Chinese Food in the area. They have everything you need.

Excellent grocery store, except for the fact that if you use the self checkout, the clerks harass you by standing over your shoulder. This is the second time in two days this happened to me, and I will NOT tolerate being treated like a thief. If they wish to watch me, that is their right, but they do not have a right to stand directly behind my shoulder and press the payment buttons on the pin pad.

My wife and I moved to Iowa in summer 2017. At that time we were delighted with the Hy-vee closest our apartment (still closest to us even after purchasing a home). It was so nice, clean and the employees were friendly and looked nice in their collared shirts. There was always an employee that was helpful anytime we looked confused. Yes, we did not even have to go find an employee to ask where something was, they came to us. Within two years, (maybe one, I am not sure exactly when the fast decline began) the same store is now last on my list of grocery stores to go to. The cashiers slide our items away from them so fast that they may as well toss them, always bruising fruits. They no longer wear nice looking uniforms. Finding a helpful employee is nearly impossible. I have no idea how the store (On University Ave. in Cedar Falls) went downhill so rapidly.

Went in at closing and they waited while we grabbed a couple things. Very nice and friendly staff.

I did a grocery pick-up and there was an error with the order with missing sweet potatoes. I completed the survey and got a call the next day; they bagged some sweet potatoes and did a delivery free of charge! Thank you Hy-Vee for making sure the order was completed and rectifying that mistake!If I could give 6 stars I would!

Hy-vee use to be a midwest staple. Currently focused on maximizing their pockets and less on customers.

We loved it. Because of the pandemic we have not been going out for breakfast. I checked to see if they were still serving breakfast so we went and enjoyed the three egg omelet. I had the best chilled fresh fruit on the side. Everything was very clean and not crowded. Highly recommend College Square Hy-Vee!

Need helium for my balloons I had purchased and Dollar Tree was very rude about helping, so I called Hy-Vee in Cedar Falls and they said the were out if helium and I asked how long it would take to change and she said come in 20 mins and I did and the ladies in the floral shop took care of me.

Great food. Reminds me of awesome grills from back east. Highly recomend gyros in all forms, and go for some gizzards. Fries are also excellent

I usually go to Hy-Vee for their specials. Especially when they have Powerade Zero on sale. I try to buy it in flats because its easier to get home. The staff is always very helpful getting it loaded into the cart, if I need help. Very friendly staff!

Hy vee pharmacy is one of the worst customer service to refill medications through calling doctors for refill. They never call doctors & if they do, it can take a week or more to do so. Very bad communication & carelessness to customer

This HyVee has very friendly staff, is clean and has a great selection of everyday and premium groceries. They also have an excellent beer and wine selection!

Poor selection of whisk(e)y and scotch.Still cant get over the fact that the Ailes are split in half with a random walkway in the center of the store. You think youre all through the selection, and remember there is an entire second section of separated Ailes in the back of the store. Not a fast in and out here. Also every gift card purchase requires a manager authentication..slow.

I like their deli, Chinese and the pizzas now in the brick oven are favorites especially when I dont want to cook. Excellent soup and salad bar for dining in. Isles are identified well. Fair competitive prices.

The man from meals was very helpful with our curb side order. Went out of his way to make sure what I was saying would give us the amount of food to satisfy us.

I normally like Hy-Vee for the most part, but yesterday made me want to shop elsewhere. A lady left her dog in her car to shop, with all the windows rolled up and facing the sun. I told the customer service desk and they looked at me like I was inconveniencing to make sure a dog stay alive. I said I had the car information and the girl said ...okay, Ill write them down, I dont know why, but Ill write them down. I didnt know it was above anybodys pay grade to not care whether a dog lives or not.As far as actual food orders, they almost consistently give me the past its prime produce(bruised/limp etc) soo besides for their fuelsaver days, Ill shop elsewhere.
