I have been searching for the perfect gown for quite some time. I drove from San Antonio after my mom spoke with Melissa about my gown preferences. Melissa was super - took her time with us and helped me find exactly what I was looking for!! She even set up a manikin so that I could take a picture of the dress. She also helped my mom find a great dress. I highly recommend Bella Brides and am so glad I made the drive. Totally worth it!!

This is one of the most beautiful bridal shops Ive ever worked with and the owner is a class act! My son is getting married in December and like we all do, I got busy and waited until the last minute so after calling eight bridal shops in four states looking for a particular gown I reached Bella Brides and Melissa not only found the gown I was looking for, she also told me I could stop calling everywhere looking for it because the other seven shops could have been kind enough to let me know the gown I wanted had been discontinued. Instead of ending our conversation there Melissa then patiently went out of her way to find me similar gowns that were available and sent me pictures of them which she didnt have to do! She then followed-up with me and arranged a virtual appointment and will be shipping my beautiful gown to me when it arrives! The best part is I never even had to leave my home! This is the kind of service you dont find anymore and I will definitely order all of my gowns for myself, my daughters and granddaughters from Bella Brides moving forward! I read some of these unkind reviews from people without appointments demanding to be seen on the spot and I can see how most people are not accustomed to shopping this way as personalized shopping is not for everyone, but if you are a discerning consumer like I am and appreciate a personalized shopping experience, then Bella Brides is definitely the way to go as you will receive an absolutely amazing one-on-one personalized shopping experience with the kindest staff at Bella Brides, so make an appointment and dont be offended by the wait, I promise it wont be long and it will be completely worth it!

I drove from Godley to Cedar Hill (1.5 hrs), to an appointment for Bella Brides. I did not receive a confirmation email until 10 minutes before my appointment time telling me that small children are not allowed. I had my 4 month old daughter with me (who is exclusively breast fed, and cannot be away from me for longer than 2 hours.) It was hot outside, and the woman working there stood at the door to tell us that although they are by appointment only, and we would be the only people there, she was going to turn us away. Customer service was poor. They are not flexible or personable. Would not recommend.

The experience I had at this boutique is really the best thing my mom and I could have experienced together! The attention that they gave to me as a client was beyond amazing, Melissa and Channel understood exactly what my vision was and because of this I was able to leave the store with the dress of my dreams!! Melissa was incredibly kind, resourceful and helpful. She saved my day!! I found Bella Brides via my gown designers website. I needed a very specific - thread and applique design - sleeve accessory that would attach to my gown. On the designers website, I found an item number I thought might work and clicked find a store. Bella Brides in Cedar Hill was one of only two in over a 200 miles radius that showed up! I live outside of Austin and knew it would be near impossible to get 3 hours north during the week. On a wing and a prayer, I sent an email to her. She called me within an hour - on a day the store isnt open! We discussed style and my vision. I gave her my gown style number and she verified the item number I was looking for would work with my gown. She was the angel I needed! She reassured me of my options and was so thorough in explaining everything to me. The process was so simple. I only wished I lived closer to go give her a hug! If she was THIS amazing on a phone call, I can only imagine the level of customer service in-store would be incredible - next to none! Thank you so much, Melissa!! Im visiting from out of state and didnt have an appointment but the Consultant offered to help me. I already have my gown but needed a veil and accessories. The Consultant was very helpful and I was able to buy what I needed and take it with me! Thank you Bella Brides, it was a great experience!

The consultants know the products, know how to fit brides, and know how to handle all the emotion involved with wedding dress shopping. The consultants are trained to know body types and what might work best for a bride. Bella Brides has various sizes of samples which allows more full-figured brides to have a better experience while dress shopping. The consultants are also experienced in ordering the proper size dress and knowledgeable about the alteration process. Rarely is a bride able to fit into a wedding dress without some alterations.So happy to have such an amazing shop to refer brides to. This is an AMAZING boutique! The best part is how much they care. Melissa went way above and beyond to take care of us and help us get what we needed by the deadline!. We will definitely be going back!!!!

I went in with my best friend so she could try on dresses for the first time since she got engaged. Booking the appointment was hard and annoying. Then once we got there, we were informed she could only try on three dresses (as a bride you can’t try on only three dresses). She had tried on one she was really excited about so I went to take a picture of it just in case she wanted to look at it later, and the lady screamed at me. The owner was who helped us and she was super rude. My bride was just really disappointed after leaving there due to the rude hostile response we got from the owner. My bride also talked about wanting to lose weight for her wedding that is a year away and the owner told her that wasn’t possible. She weight shamed my bride. There are many other boutiques and the bride stated she won’t be bad. This place is EXTREMELY unprofessional.

My daughter found the perfect prom gown at her shop. We love the owner, she was fantastic to work with. Will patronize her business again.

The dress consultant was rude to all of my family including me !!!

I made an appointment to go in to find my maid of honor dress here not knowing exactly what to expect. I had been calling around to other places to make appointments and to my surprise they were by far the kindest and most responsive to me when I called them and told them I would like to make an appointment with them as soon as they had availability! When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted kindly by the store owner Melissa and was amazed with how incredibly helpful and patient she was with me. I loved how she took the time to listen to what I was looking for and how helpful she was in helping me figure out what would look best on me! I wanted honest feedback on how the dresses looked on me and she was so helpful with feedback and helped me chooses the perfect gown! She really knows what she’s talking about and really makes you feel at home while your there. I had the best experience at Bella Bridal and was so grateful that I chose to go there to get my dress. I would recommend going here to anyone and will definitely be coming back to get my wedding dress when that special day comes! Calling Bella Bridal was the best decision I ever made to find the perfect dress!

Bella Brides is THE BEST. I bought a bridesmaids dress from a different store that was stolen while I was trying to ship it to a bridesmaid (a month and half before the big day). Needless to say, ordering a new dress just wasnt an option. My fiance and I contacted any and all stores we thought might have the dress with no luck... until Bella Brides! Melissa was able to track down the exact dress in the right size and mail it to us (in Ohio).I can honestly say that I have never had any store go that far above and beyond to help me out! Melissa saved us from some family drama and we can thank her for the lovely wedding photos well have with all of our bridemaids matching. Could not recommend this store enough!!

This place is amazing. Melissa is heaven sent. She’s one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met! At first, I was not thrilled about going dress shopping with my girlfriend, like most guys. However, my girlfriend convinced me and I’m glad she did. I had such a great time from the time I got there until we left. She genuinely cares about you getting your perfect dress. She gives you her honest opinion. She’ll find the best dress for you no matter how long it takes. So if you have no one to go with don’t worry, she’ll take care of you. I absolutely loved this place, my first time ever bridal dress shopping. My consultant Samantha was wonderful and so helpful asked me everything about my wedding and what I was looking for. I remember first walking into Bella Bride with NO APPOINTMENT very frustrated and overwhelmed that I had not found my perfect dress ! Melissa spoke to me as soon as I walked through the door! I told her I was getting married and was looking for a wedding dress however I was on a budget and I didn’t have thousands and thousands of dollars to spend. Melissa asked me what my budget was and I was so embarrassed to tell her because I felt it was to low. Melissa sense my hesitation and long story short she made me feel so comfortable by the end of our conversation I knew that I would buy my dress from her! So after sharing my budget with her she said she could help find a perfect dress she then set me up for a appointment. I remember the day I came to my appointment we looked at dresses and not only did I find a dress! The dress I found was under my budget! We ordered the dress. While taking information from me Melissa and I got to talking about different stuff and before you know I had been there talking to her for hours!Anyway long story short Melissa is so kind and very passionate about what she does! My experience was absolutely amazing! My appointment was at 12 and everything started on time and Melissa was very helpful to my needs. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE POTENTIAL SALE LOST SMALL SELECTION, TOTAL WAIST OF TIME. I just recently got engaged and have started my journey to find a dress. I am totally lost on this whole process this is my first wedding. I walked into Bella Brides this pastSunday and was greeted by a woman who seemed to be very nice. It was a little over a hour before the store was to close. No one else was in the store. She asked me my wedding date and what my budget was, I told her September next year and my budget was 2000-2500. Im not looking to spend a fortune on a one time wear dress. I told her the dress I was looking for and my size. she showed me a dress. But quickly told me she could not let me try it on because they were about to close and they usually work by appointments. The dress she showed me was almost 1000 dollars under my budget. This could have been the dress of my dream. But her lack of professionalism and laziness cost her a possible cash sale. I understand the whole appointment thing but come on it was one dress and you had no other customers in the store. The conversation just got even more discouraging when she mentioned she didnt think anything in the store would fit me. Im not a huge person I wear a size 14 in regular clothes. I left feeling like she didnt want to help me because I was a BLACK WOMAN. Hell she wouldnt even take the dress out the bag for me to get a good look at it. She had the audacity to say I could call back and make a appointment but she didnt think I could fit into that size 12 dress. It may not have zipped up in the back but Im sure I could have got into it. I would never go back to that store or buy anything from them.

I knew it was going to be an amazing experience when I showed my consultant a picture of my dream dress and she immediately brought it out for me to try on!!! Bella Brides has an amazing selection of dresses that most stores dont carry and the consultants make the entire experience fun and stress free so driving from Frisco was definitely worth it! I only wish I had found them sooner as my dress was there all along! Thank you Bella Brides, you made my dreams come true!!!

If I could give this business more than 5 starts I would. I walked in (without an appointment) and melissa took me right in helped me as much as I could possibly ask for. My husband was with me as well as my 3 year old and she was very open to him sitting nicely being with my husband to supervise him to not turn the place upside down being hes a 3 year old boy. The next day I came in to purchase the gown I had my handful and it was very stressful day for me so beside helping me with the dress and such hospitality before walking out she gave me hug and told me I was doing the best I could and a great job. Coming from another mom/woman was exactly what I needed. Melissa is an amazing business owner as well as person!

Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I did a walk-in while shopping at the mall to just get an idea of dresses that I wanted for my wedding (if I found the dress that would’ve been even better). The receptionist was very rude and pompous. She explained that they are by appointment only (which I understand) but the store was completely empty and she said she couldn’t even help me if she wanted to because she just had shoulder surgery and there weren’t any consultants in the store today. Why even be open if you can’t help customers? She also wouldn’t even let me just look at their selection to see if scheduling an appointment would’ve been worth my time. She offered to schedule something for me but I immediately changed my mind about shopping here when I continued to get a nasty vibe from her. I should’ve looked at other reviews beforehand because the low rated ones are completely true and now believe my casual dress and race also played a role in the attitude of the employee. I guarantee if I walked in wearing all designer I wouldn’t have been denied service. I thought this would’ve been a great boutique to find my dress because they had a lot of modern looks in the window but will not be returning because of the disrespect. This is only a loss for them because even though I didn’t have a wedding date (which she was also snarky about) but I didn’t have a budget either and was willing to spend whatever to get my dream dress. They lost a great sale and I will be spreading the word with this review and by mouth to avoid Bella Bridal. This place should highly consider firing the employee I encountered or have her take the stick out of her a**.Also, the generic “apology”/reply isn’t necessary from the company because I already see how they treat their customers and their first impression was a sad and pathetic one. As someone who’s worked several years in retail and customer service this is a one way ticket to a failed business. Good luck at succeeding when you treat the people who provide you a paycheck and employment like trash. ☺️

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I should of read the reviews before I can to Bella Brides. I am the mother of the bride. I purchased a dress from Bella Brides. I wear a size 10 and I told the owner Melissa that based on my measurements I may be a 14 even though I wear a 10. There was not a size 14 so a 12 was ordered. I was very concerned ordering a 12 and I told Melissa, I dont know if this dress is going to fit. She said oh sure it will fit, it will probably give about 1 inch. I picked up the dress prob 2-3 weeks after it arrived. I was very busy hosting a bridal shower for my daughter. I picked up the dress and Melissa asked if I wanted to try it on I said no. I got home and immediately tried it on. The dress did not zip up. I called Melissa the next morning and I told her I was concerned ordering the 12 and sure enough it did not fit. I made the mistake of believing Melissa that the dress would fit because I mean you do trust the person that is giving you advise, you actually seek that person to purchase a dress for such a special occasion. I paid over $500 for this dress and I cannot return it because Melissa said I went over the time and that I took months to pickup the dress. I picked it up in 2-3 WEEKS. I DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS PLACE so I will have it altered my self and after is all done I will pay over $600 for this dress. I am very unhappy with this place and I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

Outstanding customer service, beautiful boutique and if I could give them ten stars I would! I read these over the top and beyond rude reviews and then took the time to call the store and ask about them prior to MAKING AN APPOINTMENT and found the same to be true of Bella Brides as ALL BRIDAL BOUTIQUES...YOU MUST SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT AND DRESSING SPACE WITH A CONSULTANT AND NOT JUST SHOW UP! I say this because the owner, Melissa, was very transparent about this issue and it actually happened to me during my groups appointment where a very rude group barged in and demanded to be waited on right in the middle of my appointment. The ladies at Bella Brides are beyond kind, professional and never made me feel anything less than their peer and I can say this as an AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN so all this nonsense about race is petty and narrow minded and has no place in this world. My experience far exceeded my expectations and besides the rude group that had to be asked repeatedly to stop interrupting my appointment, we had the best time and found exactly what we were looking for and then some because by the time we left, Melissa and her team had also assisted my Mom and future Mother-in-Law in selecting their beautiful gowns as well! The customer service here is terrible! READ the reviews! Now I have a 3k dress and have to sell it. Circle Park said the dress didnt come in any other color, I should of listened to them! Melissa promised something she couldnt deliver, then lied and denied recent conversation. Its about her opinion and sales, not the Bride. I repeat do not take a chance on her word! No refund or accountability offered for her mistake!

Drove all the way here just for the shop to NOT be open. No note on the door. Nothing! Stayed in my car for over 30 minutes just to see if someone would show up. It was 5:45pm on a Wednesday and not open. Im leaving and its now 6:18pm. Definitely a waste of time.

Horrible experience!!! I am very disappointed with the customer service. The payment was requested before delivery of the dress. When I went to pick up the dress, the dress was smaller than the size I ordered. The owner stated that I gained weight. When I ordered one week before I went to pick it up. I requested her to make alterations for the dress, she said that she will not do them that I can do them on my own.Owner ordered the incorrect size and she did not want to make any alterations.DID NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! My friend spent hours talking with the owner (Melissa) about the color of her dress and was very clear about what she wanted....1. Melissa insisted the dress came in the color my friend wanted.2. Dress came in 8 weeks before the wedding and the color was wrong!!3. Melissa had the nerve to ask for more money to fix HER mistake and refuses to give my friend a refund.4. Melissa told my friend shed never be happy.ARE YOU SERIOUS????!!Dont believe the fake responses to all the negative reviews. This shop should be out of business. We will be contacting the designer and the better business bureau to report her misleading and fraudulent business tactics.

As soon as my bridesmaids and I walked in,this woman rudely looked at us and judged our appearance. She immediately told us that the dresses where samples but yet we were still not allowed to touch them with a hostile attitude. She was so rude and made remarks that made us feel uncomfortable like if we couldn’t afford to pay for anything. I would never recommend this disgusting place again. The worst customer service I have ever experienced, and it makes me sad to think that it was based on race. Save yourself a trip and look for something else. No one deserves to be treated like this.

Sign says they close at 6 however they are open only by appointment. That should be on there web site owner or lady was very negative and very rude .. they also need to not be in a mall and post a no Kids allowed sign.They have no selection so you would be wasting your time if you go in there.

Fabulous experience and I highly recommend Bella Brides!!! The Bella Brides team is the best and they are super sweet to work with! I heard so many great things about them but then read reviews and was confused because it just didnt add up so I decided to schedule an appointment and make my own mind up and Im sooo glad that I did because I quickly discovered that the people on here that have unfairly disparaged Bella Brides ARE NOT EVEN THEIR CLIENTS!?! How wrong is that??? When I scheduled my appointment I inquired about these reviews and the owner, Melissa, was very transparent and explained that these are random people that A) have never been in her store and are confused by them and Bella Bridesmaids; B) have come in during someone elses appointment expecting to be allowed to interrupt scheduled appointments in progress; C) or sadly, who they have never met who simply are mean spirited. Whatever the reasons I strongly advise you to form your own opinion and you will not be disappointed as I found the gown of my dreams! This team of ladies are super patient and they literally scoured the palace to be sure that I will be walking down the aisle in the most amazing dress ever!!! We were lucky to be the last appointment of the day and they were so kind to extend my appointment and were also able to find my Mom her dress which made her feel so special and that really made my day! As a bride to be I came in the store excited and a little overwhelmed by being to other stores and not really knowing what to look for in my wedding dress. Melissa catered to me all the gowns I wanted to try without hesitation. She help me narrow to what I was looking for in gown and I FOUND MY DRESS! Never felt so special and relieved all in one day until I walked into to Bella Brides. I recommend Bella Brides because not only did I find my wedding gown but my bridesmaids and flowergirls dresses as well. Melissa has been nothing but professional, transperant and attentive with working with my girls and their dresses. I will marry next summer and cannot wait to see my dress :)

I went in the store and the owner of the store was the most rude person i have ever meet! We asked question and she was not listening, she gave us attitude, not even treating us like customers! I would NOT recommend this place at all. MOST rude experience I ever had!

So today it was raining but we went to find a dress for my friend. My son had a cresant roll and the owner said no eating in here please. Ok no problem we put it away right then. My friend picked out 2 dresses because we were told only 2 at a time. Ok. The owner then complained that there was food on the floor. And did we need a napkin. Ummm food was in my purse. My sons hands are clean because he didnt even get 2 bites in. She then complained about the floor 3 more times. My poor friend was so put off she tried on 1 dress and was like am done. Dont want to spend my money here. I get it no food or eating but you dont have to keep acting like we are eating BBQ and wiping our hands on the dresses. It was crumbs on the floor. Should have worried about the water on the floor more. And trying to make the bride feel comfortable.Update- after reading the reply from bella brides, I would never recommend this bridal store. We did not eat in this store. When we walked in my son was eating and I was totally ok with the no food or eating policy. I am not ok with how rude and uncomfortable we were made to feel. As for the comment about having the funds to buy. We were ready to walk out with a dress but no one wants to spend good money on terrible, rude and plain disregard of customer service. There seems to be a pattern with how people are treated at this store.Thank you for repeatedly showing the true rude character that you pride yourself with. Customer service is not a strong suit. Once told of your policy all food was put away. There was no problem with your no food policy. The problem is with how you treat people. You will continue to get terrible review if you dont change how you talk to and treat people.

Cant beileve someone so rude including the owner could be so rude and still be in business, long story short they would not even let us step through the door before YELLING you guys cant come in here. No children, but i beilive she thought i was not dressed perfect that day. And we were just scum that couldnt afford anything in that pretty small and cramped place. I thought walk ins were welcome and she firmly told me that they werent. I showed her the Hillside Village mall flyer advertised saying walk ins were indeed welcome. I geuss we just were not their type. So we went to distinct elegance and bought a gorgeous 8,000 dollar dress that i fell in love with. Also notice there are only terrible reviews for this bella brides. Should be a red flag. Please do your research.
