I went there to by an eternity band with my wife for our anniversary. On 5-10 I purchased the band and they said they would ship it to be resized and it should be back in 2 weeks. When I called 2 weeks later, I was then told that that ring could not be resized because it was an eternity band and it would have to be custom made. Why wasnt I told this at first? Now I wasted 2 weeks. They ordered the custom made ring and as of 8-20, I still have no ring and Im out of almost 2 grand. The best response I can get is that it has not arrived yet from their vendor.

I have visited the Cedar Hill location many in the past and no matter who serves me,they are always super friendly,courteous,and personable. Im always looking for something unusual,something that jumps out at me,and they never disappoint. It would seem impossible for them to improve upon their service,but I recently went there to find something for my wife for Christ-mas. I told them what I wanted and how much I desired to spend. Amazingly they found EXACTLY what I was looking for!! KUDOS!!!
Rings came in a month after I purchased them for a BIRTHDAY GIFT 3weeks before the birthday!!! No one ever answers the phone there.... I will not purchase there AGAIN!!!
They have horrible customer service! When I walk in, I wasnt greeted. When I try to get a lady to assist me, she was like “Im handling something right now, give me a moment.”. Then it was two other workers who werent doing anything, seen I needed assistance, and ignore me. I just walk out and told them “ Ill go to another Zales”, one smartly said “Okay”. It always the same women at this location, two older black women and the Hispanic woman. Yall too old to be having horrible customer service.

I went there to get my jewelry cleaned and inspected and the lady that “helped” me was rude and didn’t even seem like she wanted to be there and seemed like I was bothering her when I asked for help. She said she “cleaned” my jewelry but they looked dull and dirty. I am very disappointed with the customer service, they need training terribly! I live close by but I will NOT return to this store, I’d rather drive further out to go to one that has better customer service and does a better job at cleaning jewelry. Mediocre service to say the least! If I could give it 0 stars I would.

This visit was for a ring size adjustment. I was a bit disappointed that it was going to take over 3 weeks to get my ring adjusted. I went during a crowded time, however the staff was pleasant and accommodating.

This business location does not care about you as a customer. We walked in just before closing on our anniversary day hoping to surprise my wife with a new ring. I asked for a rose gold band and the lady just said “we probably don’t have any and we close at 6 o’clock, so we’re closed.” So rude! My excitement shot down! She was a liar!! They have plenty of these because I saw them myself. Save your money and go somewhere that cares about customers.

Customer service was poor on both occasions I went in. Manager was rude to customers waiting outside due to Covid restrictions. They are super slow. Quick transactions take over an hour. Just go ahead and drive to Arlington and save your time.
I would NOT suggest this location for any type of purchase or service, lady didn’t know what I wanted before she turned me down to assist with repair of a necklace, to tell me so you have a necklace at home you can use...No I don’t hence the reason I’m in the store now. EXTREMELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you would like to shop Zales do not visit this location especially during this COVID pandemic. Were not following social distancing measures and left my family and I outside in the 100 degree Texas heat for an extended period of time.

I picked up my ring from Zales and within 24 hours the amethyst fell out. I brought my ring of 20+ years passed down from my mom and intended for my daughter. I was quoted a very reasonable price to fix it. Once the ring was in their possession the price to fix it tripled and Zales employees kept pushing a line of credit to fix it. I finally convinced them I dont want a line of credit I just want my ring back.Today I learned a very valuable lesson. Read reviews before pratroning any business.
It would be a 5 if the Customer Service was better. My husband and I have been loyal customers since 2004 at this location.Today, there were new faces, that need to be properly trained. I took my ring in for its 6 month check up. The first Lady could not find it in the system, she asked the second Lady for help. The second Lady told me to bring my diamond bond back up there in order to help me. She didnt attempt to help the first Lady. It was purchased at that store, it should have been in the system.When I came back, the line was long... it was still the same 2 Ladies. A third Lady came in, a familiar face... she was able to find our account with info. She was very professional and apologized that I even had to drive home and back. She informed me of a recent system upgrade. All the first 2 Ladies had to do was search the system. Instead of having me drive all the way home due to the laziness and lack there of wanting to assist.Just because I wasnt making a purchase, doesnt mean the customer service provided to me originally should be less than. Ive made many of purchases due to the more seasoned workers customer service. But if this is what we will be getting from here on out, I will no longer make any new purchases from them.
My husband and I went into Zales today and Mrs. Lou assisted us. I told her what I was looking for, price range, etc and she got me exactly what I wanted. Not to mention even got my husband to leave the store with a new band. If you visit this location. Ask for Mrs. Lou. You will be not be disappointed!!!
This place has become awful. I took a heart pendant to get repaired a month ago and as of yet still have not got it returned. It has been one thing after another, week after week. First it was not sent off. Then they want to charge me twice as much as was agreed. Then they forgot to send it off again. No phone calls no nothing. Do not get jewelry repaired here.

Just left with my daughter. She was there to pick up her ring. The rep was rude, did not provide adequate customer service by rushing through her routine with us, left us standing at the counter, inspecting our merchandise, while she went to help others, as if we weren’t important. Won’t go back to that location. Wish I had gotten her name. I’d put her on blast.
Store hours for Tuesday are 10am-9pm. Its 10:18am and the store door is locked with lights off. I can see employees in the store. This is bad business. I was interested in buying a ring. This first experience completely changed my mind. Its obvious they are not professional. I left and I am on my way to Kay Jewelers.
I took my watch to have a battery repaired in December. It is now May. I still do not have my watch of 15 years back. The associates say they will call you back, they do not. They never seem to know anything that is going on with the 3rd party company repairing my watch. It is absolutely insane! I purchased a lifetime warranty on my battery; however, they can keep that! The next time I need to have my watch or battery repaired, it will not be with the ILL EQUIPPED COMPANY! GIVE ME A BREAK! !
My experience has been poor. Walked in the store no one greeted me. I waited to be helped and was ignored until I spoke up. In addition, I took a ring in for repair, the sales representative gave me inaccurate repair information. The estimate due date has changed twice. I am very disappointed with Zales.

Refused to return earrings that were warrantied. I provided all information on the warranty and lady had me wait 30 minutes, she checked out 3 other customers. Then finally came and pull the earrings for exchange and asked for my receipt. I didnt have receipt only the information needed for the warranty, since they were a gift mind you she asked about this in the beginning. My child had her earrings not even a month and all the stones are visibly gone. She saw and took note. But didnt return or exchange them. I wont buy from Zales again ever. Stones fell out of my other daughter earrings as well. Buyer BEWARE and oh yes the staff is rude, lack of customer service and attentiveness to customers.

Store advertise that they open at 10 am, I am standing outside the store at 10:20 while Im being told through the glass to wait 5 minutes while the employees talk behind the counter and didnt even bother to start turning on lights till I got out of my car, very rude employees who act like Im bothering them when its their job. I hate that this is the closets location to me to keep my ring warranty

I purchased a Vera Wang ring for my husband in December as an upgrade. I purchased it in Arlington and the sales lady told me I could bring the ring back for sizing and it would take 3-5 business days. Welp, when I brought it to the Cedar Hill outlet, they told me 4-6 weeks because its a special order since Vera Wang rings cannot be sized. I went ahead and let them take my husbands ring. 6 weeks later, I called and was told it would be 10-12 weeks. I immediately began calling corporate, the credit card company, and BBB because I felt this establishment had no idea where the ring was and when I would ever get it back. I was promised callbacks and never got answers. Finally, 14 weeks and 2 days later, I had to call again because of the lack of communication. They claimed they texted me to let me know the ring was ready back on May 23, which of course, I never got a text, call, or smoke signal. I finally got the ring back since they would not refund my money. The store manager said I received $500 in rewards but I truly dont care because I will NEVER spend another dime in Zales again. Buyer beware!
They took forever, I came here to get my ring cleaned out. ... it came back the same as if they just whipped it down. Inside the holes of my ring was still dirty .. I waited 1hour .... total waste of time. FYI they don’t greet you or anything, no one helps you unless you speak up!
Worse experience and product EVER!!! MY husband purchased my wedding ring from here. He spent a good amount of money and I am currently on my 3rd ring (same style) from here, the diamonds keep falling out. As of today there are 3 missing diamonds on the ring Im currently wearing. My hudband and I have only been married for 2 1/2 years and Ive had to go through all these rings because of the quality.With this third ring I came in NOVEMBER and was told they would ordered ANOTHER (4th ring) ring to replace this one. Unfortunately I never heard back from anyone. I called in December and the ring didnt arrive. I was told something happend when ordering it and they would call me when it was in. Here comes January, no call of course, so I went to the store. The manager said they were completing inventory and asked me to come back in a week or so to pick out another ring.HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. I have several rings and never have I had a diamond fall out. Its upsetting and disappointing that Zales sells jewelry so cheaply made. Word of advice go somewhere else to purchase your sentimental wedding ring!
The service is terrible! In particular Dolores is very unpleasant to deal with. She is so unhappy to be there and shows it. I could write a paragraph of my unpleasant visit yesterday 6/11/2018 but that won’t stop other customers from going. Hopefully other bad experienced customers rate their service and someone actually does something about employees like Dolores!

Went in on August 2nd to have a few things inspected and signed off on. Looked into buying another ring as well. While checking out for the new purchase the lady who originally started helping is out returned our items. Upon my husband putting his wedding band on it was cracked where they supposedly inspected the diamond. Sales associate starts claiming that theres no way it couldve happened in the cleaner blah blahblah supposedly ordered a replacement and should be in by the following Tuesday since it was coming from another store. Also discussed with manager the details and if it was cracked before being in the cleaner sales associate should have mentioned it prior to cleaning. Well they stated they would wave the additional cost for the new rings warranty fee. Called Wed and Yolanda was too in a rush to get me off the phone and could not tell me any information on the order itself. Finally she got my info for a call back with information. Calls back said my sales associate was Lucinda and that she did place order with no ETAjust that someone would call. Called again Friday and Carissa stated she could not find anything about the order as well as that the manager Moore would return the call Sat. No callback no communication. Called customer service and filed a complaint but still no resolution on the replacement. Worst place ever to do business. I would reccomend recording your entire transaction and getting all sales associate names who help you
Hate this place with a passion!! Review so long could not fit. First, time was about three years ago, I ordered my wifes wedding ring online and had it shipped to the store. Went to this Zales location as it is literally 10 mins away from my house (driving back roads) and had to provide my name for pick up at least 4 times. I just handed the lady my driver license to her and said since you keep asking for my name so here you go, it has the spelling and the billing address on there. She finally found my order after 20-30 mins of the run around and since it was already paid she just printed a receipt and sent me on my way. She did not offer anything after that and I mean nothing, no warranty, no other items to look at, hell not even a good day! Yesterday, I visited the NorthPark mall location which is about 30 miles away from where I live and about 10 from where I work and I purchased some diamond earrings for my wife for Christmas. After making the purchase (3-4 hrs. later) I decided I was not happy with them and wanted to go back and see what else I could get. So seeing how this Cedar Hill Zales is only 10 minutes away from my house and I was already off of work I went to this location. Only to be failed and frustrated to where I left pissed off. One lady came and asked me how she could, and I told her I JUST BOUGHT these earlier in the day and I am displeased with how they look, she stopped me there and said maybe they need to be cleaned and let us check the diamond clarity etc. So she handed them to the manager (I suppose) who was working with another client, there I waited about 20-30 minutes for her to wrap up. She calls me over and I repeat the story I told the lady earlier, and her response was this is weird, which was repeated about another four times. I immediately was able to determine this store nor was manager going to be able to help me, so I asked do I need to go back to the other location because I dont want things to be weird. She stated no and that they didnt even know they sold diamonds like this, I said I worked with Alonso from the location and he sold them to me. If you need to pull footage of me in the store, then lets do that. She said oh no, and walked away without telling me what the next steps are. So she picks of the phone and calls the other store (I assume) and I can clearly hear here stating to the other person on the phone I have a customer who claims he purchased these earrings from your store, but there is no name. I dont see how there is no name and these were purchased. She went on for a couple of more minutes and stated I will verify him with his debit card. She then takes another 3-4 mins to discuss production numbers with her peer, and I quote her we were down 4 today, 10 the day before, and 10 the day before that, I think this weekend we will be able to knock it out the park. I then began to tap on the glass to remind this manager I was there in the store (still), seeing how she said she was going to verify me by debit card, I already pulled my debit card out along with my license. She smirks and I then stated do I need to go to the other store and return these. She says no its just that it is strange and by this time I was done hearing the words weird and strange, I told her give me my stuff back and I will drive 30 miles north back to the other location. She went on a ramble on how she was going to help me, but that it was just a strange situation. I was done and I told the lady several things (did not cuss or raise my tone) how she was treating me like a thief and that I was not here to get my money back, but to swap out the earrings for another pair. As I am looking at this lady and telling her stuff, my memory serves me and guess what, this was the same lady from my first experience with this crappy zales. I reminded her that she has horrible reviews online and I can see why. I reminded her I am going back to the other location just to get a full refund, because this is horrible and I told her she has ruined both my purchase experience. So to sum all this

My husband bought me a 3 stone sapphire ring and purchased the insurance. I took the ring in 6 weeks ago to get it sized they had to send it back to the vendor to redo 4 TIMES and I still dont have my ring. I would not EVER purchase anything from them again. I came here with my future wife to purchase a wedding ring and a wedding band Saturday May the 1st. It would seem my fiancee as well as I failed to notice the for every $300 we spend we redeem a $100 promotion the store was having. The clerks didnt reminder us of this, and the next day when my fiancée came back to the Zales store to have her earrings cleaned from a previous purchase we then asked why we didnt receive the $100 for every $300 on our purchase from May the 1st. The total we spent was $1257.86. So I was estimate I should have $400 in store credit. The manager told my fiancée she would have $200 if she spent an additional $600 which would be as if we had spent nothing initially. I felt cheated. On top of all this our wedding is suppose to be May 20 of this year and the rings arent expected or estimated to be resized and returned to the store until may the 23rd. When I spoke the the clerk she said the rings should be resized in 14 days. It wasnt until my fiancée looked at the receipt for the promotion that I notice the expected date for the rings was after out wedding date.
I came to pick up my wife wedding ring and they lost it. They put my paper work in some one else bracelet. The are slow at there job. And they have bad custumer service.

HORRIBLE customer service! They supposedly open at 10:00 and didn’t unlock the doors until 10:30. They just let you stand there for hours waiting to be served, like you aren’t even there! They have no knowledge of the store nor their jewelry either.
This is the worst place I’ve ever done business with I hate I purchased from this place and now for some reason they are closed daily early, I still can’t understand why because they are inside but the doors are locked.
