I absolutely love this location! Always clean, fast and friendly service, and knowledgeable staff! The only complaint I would have is that its not as large as some other locations, so the selection very occasionally is lacking. Not enough to lower the star rating mind you.

Excellent store, the store was great, the store was clean, the store was organized, the bathroom was cleaned and the customer service was excellent. Also, they was able to tell me where items was at when I asked.

Produce could be a bit better. Good selection overall. Most of the cashiers are always friendly. The bag of frozen raw shell on shrimp i got did have some freezer burn on it.

Stack and Vantill is well stocked with lots of every bodies favorites.

This place is HUGE. Its got so much itll take you 1-2 hrs to hit every aisle. They have some stuff Walmart doesnt have.

Helpful. I shop on my own in a wheelchair and staff and the front desk clerk Lisa all of them are extremely helpful. If you need anything just ask. They will do their best to help. Suit store is clean they do their best to disinfect and sanitized all day everyday.

First time at this store. Huge and has everything. Great place to shop. I live one mile from the Franciscan store and it is convenient. The Cedar Lake store is far grander.

Live in Lowell but shop at the Cedar Lake Strack and Van Til. Love the selection and the store is very spacious and clean. The employees are very friendly.

The lady in the deli Michelle is the most wonderful person. She was hustling and busting her butt super hard and was so professional and polite. She was incredibly sweet and made the experience of coming to that deli a wonderful time. Almost felt like I was being served at a 5 star restaurant. You guys have one heck of a worker in her. Very impressed with her speed and charisma. 10/10 will be back to to ceader lake instead of Lowells deli. Hopefully you guys read this and make sure she was appreciated for her kindness happiness and hard work!

Its close, but the one in St. John is my favorite. This stracks is way too small.

The toilets were clogged, their was toilet paper every were on da floor, then there was white stuff on the walls, and their was a tooth on in the sink and their was human nails in the sink and cockroaches crawling everywhere, and their were even mice too

This store is OK if you need something quick. They never really have a large selection of anything, meat and chicken selections are mediocre. They are overpriced. Like I said, OK in a pinch.

The weekend is always a good time to go because theres plenty of help and youre in-and-out of there in a Jiffy.

I was a regular shopper at this location. Switched to crown point location. I understand the carry out service is needed and wanted by many people. But it has became strangely aggressive, like i dont have an option. I had to play tug of war with my water to keep it in my cart with an employee. Simply due to the fact I wanted to take the groceries out myself. There will be a point in life where I need or want help with my groceries but now I am able bodied and prefer to take out my own groceries. Just a very uncomfratable experience trying to keep my water in my cart. Enough so I go to the crown point location now.

The little girl at the deli is Awesome! Angie always greets me with a big smile and asks me how my day was. Shes one of the reasons I frequent Stracks and Van Til. We went there without mask asked the front desk if its all right they didnt respond. And then halfway through our store the manager and assistant manager approached us with mask trying trying to force and bully us to putting on a mask not follow there own Policies of social distancing.

I go to the store quite often and I run into a lot of very nice people right down to the baggers but there are some daggers that are not very friendly they dont wanna talk to you and they wanna make it seem like theyre doing you a favor so you owe them but otherwise everybody else is fabulous I hope this helps

This store is very nice and clean. The employees are helpful and nice. If they are out of something on the shelf they will check in the back if there anymore instead of saying no were just out like some stores do.

Basic stuff. Service could be better and some vital household needs not well covered. Fish set up, quality and what is available, not too high standard.

I have enjoyed shopping at Strack & Van Til more than any other of the stores. The shelves are always neatly stocked and the meats and produce are fresh. The staff are always willing to help with smile. Keep up the good work!

Absolutely love this grocery store they have everything! And some of my favorite things from there are there pre cooked Cod, tilapia, and they have an awesome awesome choice of vegetables completely totally fresh like they came out of your garden

It seemed like a reasonable enough supermarket, but why do you have to use the LEFT side doors? Everywhere else, people tend to go to the right.(thats intended to be humor, its a nice supermarket)

Convenient Location. Sale prices are when to buy items in this store. Large clean modern store. Items not on sale are high.

Great local grocery store, with a wide variety of products to choose from. The wings, salad, and soup bar are great for a quick lunch or dinner option. In all of my visits the staff has been courteous and helpful.

This location is a dud. They always have one thing, but not the other (the kinda place that has PB and no J). Doesnt carry the same items other stores do, I really enjoy having to shop multiple Stracks locations to get everything I was looking for. Well worth the extra ten minute drive to the St John location to get everything in one swoop.

One of the best Strack & Vin Til is the one in Cedar Lake. They have excellent staff and excellent prices. The deli is one of the best I have seen out of the Stracks I have been to. The best quality of fried chicken. The Utility clerks are friendly and very helpful with carry outs. The cahsiers are also very nice and respectful. They have a wonderful team all around. They all bring that store to the best it can be.

Today, crowded, but the most beautiful orchestra playing Christmas music. It was so nice.

I shop there all of the time. Today the celery was $3.59. Very high priced so I didnt buy it. Stracks is generally a great place to shop. Much cheaper than Jewel, but, if you have the time to shop around go to Aldis. But Ive found Stracks to be cheaper than Aldis at times. Its a hit or miss situation. I prefer a 1 stop shop bc I work. I dont have time to run all over the place to find the best deal all if the time

I just left there, I placed an order for a Chicago bulls cake for my sons 17th. Birthday.. Im really bad about remembering names but 2 ladies waited on me and one was oriental... I honestly dont think they could of helped me any better.... they went above and beyond to try accommodate me... They were very helpful, and you dont see that kind of service anymore... I did get my cake ordered and Im excited to pick it up on Saturday, I was a little surprised to find out that they didnt do the actual baking there.. there baked goods are delivered from Valparaiso...As long as my cake is nice and moist, thats all I care about, but back to helpful ladies in the bakery department, great job girls!

Over priced on most items

Store built a couple of years ago. Very clean store. Friendly employees. You can find what you want easily and youre in and out in no time. Usually always cashiers at all the registers during peak, busy times.

Strack and Van Tils in Cedar Lake, In...one of the newly advertised salads from the deli....so hot neither me or my son could eat it....it was short on the shrimp...weve been getting the same salad at the East Chicage store and it had 14-18 pieces of shrimp with either rice or cauliflower and broccoli...it was great....we travel all the way there to get this same salad.!!!!
