I tried Einsteins bagels for the first time and you couldnt get me to go back. The coffee was undrinkable and the bagel was chewy. They literally had one job? The only saving grace was the kindness of the employees.
Food is wonderful BUT the staff are just the most unfriendly people ever….I come here pretty much every morning and I don’t know if they’re just not morning people or what but it really bums me out.Bagels are good though. That’s one of the only reason why I still come. That and they’re the only place open at 5am.
Eistein bagels they dont dissapoint you, especially their spicy Jalapeños bagel, if you like spicy dont even think just get the Jalapeño bagel one with Jalapeño cream cheese, its the best!!!
Im here from NJ, visiting family. Its been very difficult to find a decent bagel. Im very happy I found Einstein Bros. Their bagels are great, the bagel sandwiches are great. Service was very quick and everyone behind the counter was extremely nice. Great food and customer service, thanks!
First time in an Einsteins Bagels. Didnt eat this time, but my daughter was happy we came and shes pretty picky about her bagels (she really only likes their cream cheese).
They got my order wrong, completely missed an item. Failed to mention that when I went in to pick it up(they saw me picking it up from the shelf and i spoke to them about my coffee) Later when I called after seeing the missing, the lady I spoke to was very rude. She said she cannot control the app and can’t give me a refund online and asked me to come down to get a refund. Very rude customer service.
Ordered online for 1st time. Baker dozen sliced with shmears (website says plain & vegetable). Got baker dozen not sliced, 2 plain smears. No free coffee. Luckily I picked up inside. Caught the shmear but didn’t check the box about being sliced. Asked for the free coffee. SO DRIVE IN SOUNDS NICE, BUT MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR ORDER.
Update: I returned to give this place a second chance. I ordered 6 bagels, cut in half with a tub of schmear. I got to the window and the female employee with red hair asked me if I ordered muffins or bagels. I said bagels (as I said at the drive through speaker). She said she has to change the order since I ordered muffins and then she just walked away. I know what I ordered. I just don’t know how to order things from incompetent employees. She left the window to cut the correct bagels. Another employee proceeded to hand me a bottle of water and I said I didn’t order a water. She realized she was wrong and looked up my order and she repeated my correct order. She then charged my credit card $17 dollars and then gave me my bag of food. I asked for the receipt knowing that the total charge was too much. After a few seconds she turned to me and said she thinks she overcharged me and needed to give me a refund. She was nice about it but I had had it with this place. I got my refund and went on my way home. When I opened the bag, I noticed they gave me the wrong flavor of bagels. This place really just needs to retrain everybody or get better organizational skills.Drive-thru employee lacked any kind of humor and/or friendliness. She was on the cusp of being outright rude. Food was good but what makes it worth it to return to a business is having good people help you as well as good food. Starbucks is just as busy but always friendly (I went to Starbucks just before getting my bagels at Einstein). From reading the comments left before mine, customer service at this drive-thru has always been a problem that has never been addressed, I guess.
Best bagels around but the level of service you receive depends on who is working at the time. If the service was more consistent would be 5 stars.
Ordered bakers dozen but got only 8. Online app has chocolate chip as few but store manager says they don’t carry but they didn’t replace with any other and gave only 8 instead. Store manager completely irresponsible and says come to the store and pickup the remaining no refund. Never go to this store.
Aggressive window girl. Long wait times. And all for this skimpy bagel and smear. Is this really 3 dollars worth of smear?
This is one of the worst Einstein I ever visited. Service is too slow and very unprofessional
Staff is so rude. Burnt my bagel and they had an attitude when I asked for a new one.
Really good bagels, but the portions are way too small for the price. Youre better off going to Panera bread or making your own bagel sandwiches, unfortunately.
The Einstein experience has become one of the incredible shrinking bagel. I get it - raise costs or shrink product, but I feel like theyre doing both. Used to love the breakfast sandwiches here, but Ill go elsewhere now.
Very bad experience this morning. Placed our order over the phone and showed up about 15 minutes later. Was told our order was still not ready. Asked about it a couple more times and was told the same. After about 15 more minutes of waiting, another girl finally came over and said its right here to the bag that was sitting in the shelf since I walked in.
It was ok. In a visit in May 2021 and the dining room was completely still closed. The coffee was hot.
The food is always delicious, but they were quite busy at 11AM and they seemed thoroughly overwhelmed by it. Service was much slower than usual even though they had a full crew.
Highly recommend the Jalapeño Cheddar bagel with the Jalapeño cheese spread. (Not the green chilli one)Avoid the lattes, they’re just milk and sugar added to dripping coffees.
This is honestly one of the best bagels Ive had in a long time. And it wasnt greasy!!! Yay
I love caribou coffee because i moved out of Minnesota recently. Its so disappointing that yall are separating from them because I no longer have the option of buying my coffee here. So irritating.
Gotta love DRIVE-THRU bagels! And free wifi.I came in a Sunday afternoon, expecting it to be more crowded, and was pleasantly surprised. Counter staff were cheerful and efficient (and delivered my order to my table), which offset my disappointment of the outage of everything bagels.Lots of seating at this location. Clean restrooms, which are wheelchair accessible. Four outdoor tables.
There are two girls specifically that work the drive thru in the mornings. Each of them hate their jobs and it really shows. Also 50/50 chance of getting orders right at this location.
Drive through person was in a hurry to make us wait anyway. Then got short with me when I asked for raw sugar. What coffee shop doesnt have raw sugar?
Great bagels and breakfast foods. Excellent service.
Staff helpful and food was great
I love Einsteins. This location has good service and clean place. Definitely try the chorizo sandwich. I usually prefer authentic chorizo but the chorizo Patty in this begal sandwich is top notch. Definitely try it for breakfast. The cold brew is a perfect tasty pick up.
Great bagels, but unpleasant services consistently for the past 8 years.
This is the only Einstein Bagels close to us. Every time we come we know the service is poor we have just had to tolerate it. The employees always get the order wrong, and if you tell them that you had asked for something that was not in the order or was switched, they look at you and say something like that is not what you said and just stare awkwardly. They do not even offer to resolve it, change it, or anything. Today we drove into the drive through and there was no response. We waited a few minutes and thought maybe the drive through might be broken. We pull up to the window and the woman standing there looks right at me and walks away. This is 15 minutes before closing, so I figure they may be short staffed. We wait a few more minutes and I beep the horn. Both employees standing further inside look at me, and go back to what they were doing. Another couple minutes go by and my wife decides she will just go inside. She comes out with bagels and I ask if they said why they ignored us and she said no. She said they were rude and thought it best to avoid conflict.Guess this is just the norm at this location.
Excellent customer service from westley an Brianna! Brianna made suggestions that were amazing! Westley was so pleasant . Definitely worth the trip from fort hood.
This location was upset that I wanted to order 50 min before they close. They told me that I couldnt order certain items because theyre cleaning up. Im probably not coming here again. A bunch of lazy employees if you ask me. Poor customer service.
This is an excellent breakfast alternative. I really enjoy the variety of spreads they offer with the assortment of Bagels. I would have given it 5 stars but it takes a while to queue through the line, not sure if this can be remedied... a popular place is hard to navigate in the first place. I highly recommend it. Take some home with you for the next day too!
Caribou Coffee has finally arrived to Cedar Park! If youve never tried their coffee, youll be amazed at how good even their drip coffee tastes.Their coffee doesnt have a lot of the artificial flavors/sweeteners that others do. Ive seen them take actual chocolate chips and melt them down for a handcrafted beverage instead of using chocolate syrup from a bottle. The great thing about their pairing with Einstein Bros is that you can grab a great-tasting bagel along with your coffee! Plenty of spots to sit and charge your phone or laptop.Friendly and fast service! Bagel came out quick and their drip coffee was HOT and great-tasting, almost like I got a handcrafted beverage.Pro trip: Make sure to sign up for the Einstein Bros app and the Caribou app. I was able to use either app for separate purchases. Also: note that they dont carry all of the Caribou drinks you might have ordered ... check with the people, though! One said she could pretty much replicate a Turtle Mocha.
Great place to grab some breakfast and get some work done. The bagels are always fresh, they have good coffee and they keep the place clean. Most staff is always nice and friendly, and make sure you feel welcome.I definitely recommend this Einstein Bros. Bagels!
Employee was rude and not helpful after I walked in to pick up a mobile order. She informed me that they were out of the chicken to make the sandwich and asked me to select another item. While attempting to look at menu at other side of room she rudely and loudly asked me what I wanted. At that point I requested to cancel my order and a different employee told me I had to call their 1-800 number.I have visited this location many times prior to COVID precautions and have experienced or seen the employees/managers act annoyed and rush customers while ordering.
Great bagels. Not good customer service experience for my first trip there though unfortunately. 😥 Staff was collectively aloof and not very attentive. Currently only offering drive thru and curbside/online only
Great farmhouse breakfast sandwich!
Went here on Sunday morning with my husband and ordered two bacon avocado and tomatos one with sausages. When we get to the front of drive Thur, there was only one order of the sandwich; when letting the lady know she missed one of our sandwiches, she told us “I didn’t hear it and if you want it then go to the end of the line and order it, I have a long line behind you”Not my problem, you should listen and that definitely not how you address the situation.Extremely rude middle aged women.
Great breakfast sandwiches and they serve Caribou Coffee! The only gripe I have about this location is that our sandwiches get mixed up sometimes with toppings... other than that its delicious!
Tell customers youre out of the bagels when they order instead of Well deal with them when they get to the window. If I have to change my whole order at the last second while Im paying it makes me a lot less understanding when you still get the order wrong. Waited 30 minutes in the drive through, got home with a bagel sandwich I cant eat.
I love their bagels but the service at the Whitestone location is terrible. The employees are not friendly or welcoming at all. ☹ Update: As we sat and enjoyed our bagels there were two employees that really went above and beyond to try and change the negative atmosphere- a young girl (college age) working behind the counter & a man that was working in the table area.
I really enjoy their breakfast bagel sandwiches and Chai lattes, but the last few times Ive been to this location Im there for at least 30 minutes waiting to order and then get my order. Not sure what the issue is, the place is not that crowded, but hope it gets fixed soon. Wont be going back for awhile.
It’s simple...do not eat here! But if you have to, be sure to dine in. Every time I bring food home they ALWAYS get it wrong. ALWAYS!! When I’m home and realize another mistake has been made the manager has zero recourse for making you whole. So he says?!?They have zero quality control. And they will ask you to come back for the missing bagel or the incorrect order...like it’s worth my time to do so. This is my final visit to this store. Terrible customer service.
Its o.k.
Good bagels with pretty large variety. They sell out of some of the popular ones so the earlier the better. Their coffees and teas as usually on point. Sometimes they get it wrong, but are quick to correct. Parking can be a little hard during busy times but the drive thru is easy. Decent room to sit in and eat as well.
Why can u people never toast the bagel??? Why? Its like u have to beg them this place is so terrible
I like the bagels here. I havent been In a while so i was expecting my cranberry bagel but they dont make those anymore i was told. But overall still good.
My favorite combos are sesame with strawberry...asagio with veggie and blueberry with strawberry... Delicious and Fresh
This particular Einstein Bros. is fantastic. I very particular about my coffee; the bagels not so much. I ordered a strong latte with no foam. I got what I ordered. It was delicious 😋. Also, the bagel was perfectly toasted. The server was very attentive and gracious.
I love Einstein Bros Bagels, yummy selection. The ONLY thing though... which saddened me because it’s so hard to actually get the REAL deal all the time was the iced Caribou coffee was a little off that day or something, in both coffees I got.I was sad but every time I’ve gotten hot coffee from here it’s been pretty much what I expect. :)
David, the manager is great! Always kind and smiling when treating the customer. Ill definitely come back to this location! Thanks, David!
Tastes great but man service is so slow! They need to have two people working the window or something.Update: I have been going here almost every day for two weeks now and always order the same thing...All Nighter NO bacon. I have received it 3 times now WITH bacon so I cant eat it. Today its like they put extra bacon and today there isnt any sauce. With the inconsistency, I wont be going back.
The Cedar park Einstein bagel used to be good once upon a time but not anymore. They dont toast the burger evenly. Either they would give you under done like cold one or they will over done and burn it. They dont spread the cheese evenly too. Half done here and there. Because of that I stopped going there often. I think I went last week after so many months that too drive through. I havent ordered for myself because of few times experience. The store needs full make over. Its not inviting anymore. But they do have lot of choices for vegetarians.
I love their bagels, but their service is a bit slow unfortunately. I am not sure if it is due to the nature of how long it takes to make a bagel/coffee, but Im used to Starbucks and these guys always take significantly longer. I do love two of their window employees -- always extremely friendly and remember me when I come by.
Kinda crazy how a bagel place can run out of PLAIN bagles in the middle of the afternoon (11 am)I mean..... I think a bagel shop should always provide enough plain food for customers who cannot eat these fancy other options which is literally my situationBetter management of internal stock might fix the problem but thats just an opinion
Great bagels, and great strong coffee. I ate in the dining area, everything was nice and clean. Order came out quickly. Love that they are open early! Staff was very friendly as well.
Wait forever in a drive through line then get the wrong bagels
We go here almost every weekend for a family get-together. Staff is always friendly and willing to take care if any issues, even during high-volume times. Quality product and menu with a good variety. Frequent changes in specialty items. We love it.
I love the bagels but when I order the bakers dozen and select a bagel with garlic and bagels with Cinnamon sugar please put the garlic bagel in a separate bag in the box because the way you pack that dozen you make the cinnamon bagel taste like garlic and the garlic bagel taste like cinnamon, but next time I will request all flavors to be packaged in separate bags
Great freshly made bagels, lighter than one ought to expect! I love their southwestern eggs with the jalapeño cheese spread. All the spreads are yummy, you can also buy them by the tub. This location is large, clean and airy, a great place for a quick filling breakfast.
The bagels are soft, warm and so tasty. But i would recommend using spread on side instead spread. Sometimes the staffers can be miser in topping the bagel with spreadLatest updateThese days the bagels has lost the charm. They started running out of bagels very often
Einstein Bros bagels has been our go to for their delicious farmhouse sandwich and fresh brewed coffee. The have over a dozen specialty bagels along with the classics that gives you anything but a mundane morning bagel experience. Service is quick and kind. Our order has never been wrong and we continue to find new things to try a year and a half later.
Hadnt been in awhile. New options sounded and were delicious but they were out of the cheesy hash brown bagel. I wasnt there until Noon but with them still having 4 hours left, they could have prepared better. Otherwise, enjoyed going back.
Got an avocado toast bagel, it was burned in places, wound up scraping avocado off and eating that. Threw the bagel away. For the price I could have bought a couple of avocados and put it on toast at home. The yogurt cherry pastry was ok, didnt seem that fresh but edible.
This location has been going downhill. David, the manager is rude and today was the final straw. Their computers were down and he sent a young employee to stand outside and tell people they can only do large orders. He said he was the only one that can do the orders and they only had one computer. Very poor management and sending his employee out to take the heat from customers, just sad. Then as I was leaving I could hear him tell his employee he told me off. Which he didn’t, at all. He just stood there and smiled. Doubt I’ll ever go back to this location.
The food is n par with any other Einstein. If you like Einstein, youre fine in that regard. The customer service sucks. My family ordered bagels. The entire order was wrong. But they were very busy, because of Mothers Day. They corrected the order, but werent very friendly about it. I assumed they were just rushed.I went back and ordered bagels today. I got to the window and realized, they werent toasting my bagels. But no one came to the car until the order was done. I asked if they were toasted, because I didnt see them get toasted. The cashier tells me no and that she didnt hear me say toasted. I replied, They should be toasted. And she continues to argue with me before finally toasting the bagels. This is the only bagel place near my house, but after two less than satisfactory experiences I probably wont be back. Kolaches it is.
My pickup order was burnt and upon contacting customer service they didnt respond. My favorite place for bagels but doesnt look like they care anymore about customer service.
Had been to this place today and the service was great (it was better than the last time I went there). Good bagels and spreads. love these bagels.
The last few times I’ve been in here before and after COVID the service has been HORRIBLE! the employees are so rude. It makes me not want to spend my money here.
Out of pretzel bagels as usual. Havent been in awhile, sorry no more pumpernickel bagels.☹
I love this bagel shop. The bagels are amazing with lots to chose from. They even have treats for the puppies.
Ive been coming to Einstein Bagels for years- Im not a morning person. I NEED my coffee to function. After a redeye flight last night and my bank locking my account due to international charges, the friendly staff at this Einsteins were more than gracious. I didnt receive any of the usual blunt or cold behavior that can be expected of most quickly-paced restaurants this early in the day. My food and coffee were ready in under 2 minutes. My devotion to this place has just been reaffirmed!
Good and adventurous variety, quick service, and an almost indispensable breakfast option.Their expansion on the bagel really makes this place special. From breakfast sandwich to the classic schmear, you have many options to choose from for many lifestyles. A good place to start the day and get you to lunch without feeling those hunger pains. Oh, and good coffee as the cherry on top.Room for improvement: Train and hold service staff accountable for customer service. People dont need a drone voice to get their mornings going, they need GENUINE, uplifting attitudes to help get rid of the morning lag. Oh, and dont script happiness either, lead, connect, and inspire your staff (Try incentives with fun business outings).
Sydney was excellent. She went the extra mile to provide customer service despite a pandemic.
Always a long wait in the mornings, but today we had an extra long wait of 30 minutes. Seems that they passed over our order several times. They were nice and apologetic over it... But when I went to eat my bagel there were at least 2 long black hairs in it. My stomach wont allow me to go back again :/
Ten minute wait to order in the drive thru (only one car in front of me), another ten minute wait for the food. They were out of half of their bagel types. At the window, the gal was whining about being too busy. I wanted to explain that they dont have a customer problem, they have an execution problem. But that would not been understood by the employee, her manager and perhaps corporate. It is a shame. Their food quality is quite good. Their leadership needs to visit a Subway sandwhich shop. Identical problem, totally different solution.
(**ADDED UPDATE AT THE END) They have great food and we have been coming to this location regularly for 6 months since we moved up to this part of town (probably 20+ times in all) and if I could say one statement to sum it up: they dont have their crap together. Or I should say, management doesnt have their crap together. Its 100% management.Generally, the employees are nice and accommodating. Ill get a grumpy one from time to time. Which is normal, but they are disorganized and always look like theyre a minute away from complete destruction. Im here now, and every minute or two there is a mini-meeting around the ordering monitor to clear up some problem. Employees seem to be missing as orders are backing up. The wait times are generally very long for a bagel with an egg in it...Nobody seems to be clear on their responsibilities and there is usually one person who is running around keeping the place from burning down. Today, there is a girl who had tattoos and large ear piercings who is doing a great job of caring for customers. (Missed her name) Shes busting her butt running around trying to keep people happy. Im not sure who the manager is here but they need more people like her.Anyway, we will continue to come here but I have certainly decreased my visits because I get tired of dealing with the circus.UPDATE:Here I am a week later from writing his review. I went through the drive through and bought 6 bagels; 2 chocolate chip, 3 blueberry, 1 everything. I failed to check before driving off and ended up with 3 plains instead of blueberry. I get that that is a pretty normal mistake to make, so normally I would chuck it up to a simple mistake. But on top of the other bad experiences here I will not be coming back until things improve. This is ridiculous. Im out.
I enjoyed the Lox
Its pretty good ive never gone there but ive had bagels from there and theyre pretty good10/10 would eat again
My wife had a bad experience at this Einstein restaurant. There was a patron with an Autism Assistance dog. Unfortunately, the dog was not properly trained to be in a public place. It jumped on my wife, and barked. I totally agree with allowing properly trained seeing eye dogs, autism assistance dogs, etc, into places where animals are not normally allowed. However, Im totally opposed to people bringing a dog that cannot behave properly into a restaurant or any other public place where others have paid for the right to be there, or cannot easily be elsewhere (like public transportation). I attempted to explain my concern to the manager, but he had other more important things to do like take orders and make bagels (so he said). In addition to this incident, the ladies bathroom was disgustingly unclean. We wont be back, and certainly would NOT recommend this restaurant.
Good bagels but this is the second time I was given a busted coffee cup, as I set in my cup holder for when I get home then I go to take my coffee and it’s half empty? I look again and it’s leaked all over my car through the cup holder. Staff is rude and laughed at me when I asked for “small mocha coffee” said “hahaha you know you don’t need to say coffee right “ very condescending
Slowest place to stop. Understaffed and poor service in terms customer acknowledgement.
I cant believe this location is still open, I just tried to get a pizza bagel with no meat on it and 3 bagels later they didnt give me what I wanted. To make it worse the girl who made my food wrong the first two times walked through the restaurant in front of me crying, making me feel like a huge inconvenience basically for being vegetarian. I hope this place closes.
Good, but the beagle was so burnt and charred, that hardly any white part of the bread was visible. I’ve called repeatedly for about 15 minutes straight and no one answers the phone.... literally. I guess, next step is to just go and take a video while a buddy calls so that we can help them solve the problem. :/
I love this place! E=mmmmm see delicious! I gained 63 lbs in a month eating here. And it was totally worth it.
Not that impressed. I love NY style bagels. These just dont make the grade.
Decent bagel joint. Very busy location. They seem to run out of some things in the morning. Love the Nova Lox.
I personally love Einsteins in Lubbock and coming here was just as good as my other location. Broad choices of food and fast good service.
Ive become a fan of having breakfast here with the girlfriend. The coffee is pretty decent and almost always fresh. The farmhouse bagel sandwich is filling and delicious. The service itself has had a couple of hit and mis moments, but nothing you cant overlook. The biggest complaint I have is the speed of the drive trough service. Make sure you have time to spare.
Be prepared to wait 20 minutes in the drive thru on any weekend morning. The wait time is ridiculous and it isnt any better if you go inside.
The food is good, and I have had good experience with two employees. However, I have found many of the workers at the window at this location are very rude. They often get the order incorrect or seem bothered to provide simple service. For example, I get coffee with cream and sugar and often the cup is a dripping mess or they have filled the cup with a flavored coffee.Updated: I have noticed a positive change in the attitude of workers, as well as their accuracy.
Great bagels
