I really like this coffee and staff which worked here, tasty coffee and nice atmosphere. 4 stars because every time after order they are asking about tips( it always optional ) I know it, but sometimes it’s not necessary ( when you bought it via drive through) . Just put the big sign 🪧 TIPS APPRECIATED . that’s it. Who want leave a tips they will do that without, ( do you wanna leave a tip today it’s always optional - sometimes I see how they not feel comfortable Saying this.

I got some breakfast tacos and they tasted really bad, the tortillas was like a ball of glue, eggs tasted terrible, like they were made a few days ago. I feel sick from this food 🤮

I’ve tried the winter moon iced latte and the half moon iced latte. The winter moon was definitely sweet but delicious, rich, tasty coffee. The half moon with 3 pumps is a good balance for me.

Good coffee! They were pretty busy but service was quick. Very impressive how quickly the orders were made. I got a cappuccino. Made perfectly!

The coffee is good. The full version of the latte is too sweet. Go for the 1/2 Summer moon / Winter moon. The baristas are presumptuous and will literally ask you if you want to tip them.

Mocha Moon is so good. Great location. The drive thru is fast and easy, but enter from off Little Elm, at the back of building.

Great coffee from this place. We are visiting family from out of town so weve gone to a different coffee shop every morning. Very quick order. The summer moon was a little too sweet for me next time I will go for the half or the quarter. I still checked the whole thing, yes I was jacked up!! So its covid time. This place had a line two block down. It was lightening speed. The customers werent the greatest of folks, a lot of unneeded rudeness from drivers but the workers were all amazing and face pace! Plus that iced coffee is amazing!!!! Keep up the amazing work!

I went in with 2 of my friends today, they got coffee I got a smoothie. All 3 of our stomachs have been hurting today since we drank these, the runs have been happening ALL DAY, and now our stomachs are gurgling. Everything tasted pretty good but just the sugar amounts I think is what went crazy in our bodies...

Love the coffee, but no decaf at night! Seriously? Please have a decaf drip at night. For those of us needing an easy date night, there are very few coffee places open in the evening. Starbucks has decaf... But no dine in. Help!

Went today April 5th, 2021. I usually get winter moon with 4 shots, but I wanted something sweet so I decided to get 3 shots only. But after drinking half of it I start it to feel sick in my stomach and end up having the runs. That has never happen in summer moon. But extremely disappointed, they usually make good coffee

I absolutely love their winter Moon coffee drink. So good that I rarely stray from ordering anything else off their menu. But I have had a few other drinks and they are all very good. I really enjoy coming here to do a little extra work or study.

Staff are friendly enough, nothing exceptional. The coffee is pretty good. Seating is decent. 8/10. Its nice to have a Summer Moon close to home.

Awesome spot, with amazing espresso, but the Wintermoon (iced latte) is wayyy too sweet. Got it with lavender to go, and it was diabetes in a cup. Hoping it was a one off mistake, and will be back to try it while working from the great lounging area!

Oh my....I have been a die-hard daily customer at the “famous coffee place with the green goddess” if you know where I mean.Until today...my first visit to Summer Moon had me at their “half moon vanilla winter latte”!!! I mean, I wanted another one as soon as I finished the first one. I literally can’t stop thinking about it and I plan to go back tomorrow and take my laptop to work from there. The ambience and the fun merchandise they have also gives a positive vibe. I cannot wait to try the breakfast tacos next!!! Love this place!

This place is always booming. Prepare to sit in drive through for 10-15 mins before getting your fix. Trust me tho, its well worth the wait. You can also order ahead and pick up curbside if you dont care for waiting in drive through.

My first time going to Summer Moon and I wanted hot chocolate during icepocolypse and I was not disappointed. SO good! Do they mix it with crack because I already want another…The people were very nice at the drive through also.

Im disappointed I lived 3 miles away for 18 months before learning of this place... and on Christmas eve eve 2020 I got an early present...So damn good. Im an espresso nerd and that has to be considered for the best cup within 30 miles!To the folks mad at them for not accepting cash, get over it. You know why... or should! !

Their signature moon milk in a Summermoon (hot) or Wintermoon (cold) latte is always to die for at any of their locations - Summermoon has been a fave local Austin coffee shop for years. The special ingredient, their moon milk, is a secret recipe consisting of something like 7 types of milk. Its pretty sweet, so they automatically offer half and quarter moon options on their menu if its too sweet for you. Now, they also offer a homemade pop-tart pastry that is incredible - trust me, this is not your ordinary boxed pop-tart (posting a pic of it to Google as well).This location has a fully covered drive-thru which us perfect for days like this where it is pouring HARD and non-stop. They have lots of indoor seating and some outdoor seating, nice coffee shop ambiance. Very friendly staff with great service. Today I asked the name of the song that was on and the staff woman told me the name right then and even wrote it on the bag she gave me my pastry in.

Very friendly. Some items on the menu they dont sell anymore...confusing. The place was packed so I didnt stay. Outdoor seating is right next to thier drive thru menu, so I smelled exhaust...ick.

At 7 PM on a Friday night they had NO, absolutely no, decaf coffee!!EDIT after reply:I dont want an americano. We wanted decaf coffee NOT decaf espresso. I even asked about purchasing pour over and the cashier said that wasnt available.

I love this location. Not only does it have a drive-thru, but the staff have always been laid-back and helpful everytime Ive visited. Plus, nothing beats any one of their Summer or Winter Moon drinks with four shots (always a welcome surge of caffeine for me).

Casual staff. I ordered two drinks and a sandwich. I was given three drinks in a carrier. When I pointed out one drink wasnt mine, the employee removed all the drinks and took back the carrier. Weird.

They offered a couple times to make me a different drink because I ordered something that I thought was different. I was fine, but really appreciated. Great customer service.

The coffee and the atmosphere here is fantastic. I originally started going to the Anderson and Burnet location but then found one close to home too. Its tucked away but well worth it. I love the Mocha Moon Latte!

I try to visit SM about once a week and they normally prepare my drink really well. Its those times when they dont and then I am not too pleased.Upon payment they ask if you would like to tip, which I dont have a problem with tipping (AFTER MY ORDER IS CORRECT).Had I not been watching them make my drink, it would have been incorrect, I would have left - being none the wiser - with the wrong drink and I had already tipped them.Pay attention when they are making your drink - especially during busy times.

We got there 30 minutes before closing time. They let us stay (4 people) hangout while they closed up other parts of the shop. We appreciated the generosity but didnt want to take advantage. The shop is really cute and cozy. The barista was super helpful in answering all of my questions as well. I will go back again and highly recommend it if you want to splurge a little. ☕

The coffee is ok taste like dry milk, evaporated milk, heavy cream and half and half with lot sweetness is little high price here.plus they always make you feel guilty asking for TIPS, I don’t feel COMFORTABLE at all when they ask the question, Starbucks is good coffee Dunkin’ Donuts too, they never ask for tips.

I am so happy there is finally good coffee close to my house! I was on a bike ride and it was a happy surprise to find. Got a cold brew, all the girls working at the time were super sweet. Location looks great! Will definitely frequent here.

We tried the ice coffee, iced hot chocolate, cappuccino and half moon and they were all average. The concept and atmosphere are interesting. We liked it in general and we prefer it over Starbucks

The location is convenient with plenty of parking and a drive through. Lots of great coffees and teas. The Moon Chai is delicious. There is not enough seating, largely because theres mostly tables for 4 taken up by a single person.

11/18/2019 I first hear about this place. Been living a block away for over a year and never knew it. Got the Summer Moon and I will never get coffee anywhere else if I can help it. Was truly amazing. And the light smokiness of the coffee really makes it!!!

Love coming here to study. Plenty of tables and outlets. I like the bench seats however if the person sitting in the middle moves even a bit then it hits the two side benches causing a loud noise, you to move, and can induce migraines. Maybe theres a way to stabilize the benches? Otherwise, Id give it 5 stars.

Celiac/ gluten free people beware! Went through the drive thru, and I asked if their coconut milk and their syrups were gluten free. To keep things short, the lady who was taking my order was extremely unhelpful and unknowledgeable about what gluten is, (thinks its just wheat), which I dont expect the whole world to be informed about all the food allergies, but it was her attitude that was an issue and was clearly annoyed by my questioning. Instead of asking someone to find out about the gluten, she just ended up saying I dont know and was short with us. Extremely unprofessional and I lost all confidence in ever going to this location ever again.

Cute coffee shop with a fantastic vibe. Easy going, relaxed, not pretentious or over-commercialized. Plenty of seating including outside tables. Clean, well-kempt, and friendly.

I go here a lot and they mess up the order at least 50% of the time. They gave me coffee when I ordered matcha last Sunday, and today they gave me dairy milk instead of oat that I know I ordered. This has happened at least five times in the last couple of months. Their drinks are also served so hot you can leave them in the car on a cold day for over an hour before they become drinkable (speaking from experience). Ill still go to Summermoon, but Ill go out of my way to the one on 620. Coffee and service is much better there.

While I am obsessed with Summermoons Quarter Moon and their hand-pies - classic drinks are not that good (cappuccino, latte). Im docking 2 stars for this location because this is the 3rd time they forget my food order or dont even start it. I would understand when they are busy but this has happened twice when they are slow.

We love this Summer Moon! Great coffee shop with a nice selection of coffee. The best thing about summer moon is the creamy milk they use with the coffee. There are different options, but the full moon is very, very sweet and more like a dessert type coffee. You can also order 3/4, half and quarter moon options depending on the sweetness you like in your coffee. Nice local coffee bar that knows their beans and how to heat and roast them. The Moon milk is what makes it so tasty. The staff is pretty nice, but could be a little more friendly. #moonmilk, #localcoffee

If you would like to try the breakfast tacos youll have to be there before 9:30am. Great fresh coffee and the tastiest empanadas, my favorite sun dried tomatoes and goat cheese.

Delicious coffee, unpretentious vibe, and seriously yummy local eats all conveniently located near Avery Ranch. This is my new favorite coffee house. Only con I can think of: seating is uncomfortable and scarce when it gets busy.
