Top Surface came out to cut my countertops to fit a knock box and a pitcher rinser. Not only did they reply to my emails very fast every time, but they also came out within a couple of days to do the work, and did it oh so well! I didnt have the tools to remove some of my equipment so they took care of that for me, covered up stuff around the countertops so that it doesnt get all dusty, and they were very courteous and professional. I now know who to trust for all my future countertops needs! Thank you guys for being amazing at what you do.

I contracted for black granite counter tops and after 2 weeks after install the color started to show white spots. When I complained the stone yard blamed top surface and top surface blamed the stone yard. Kevan told me to sue when I asked for my money back. Then I learned they filed for bankruptcy. I had to have the defective granite removed and replaced. I was never compensated by top surface or the stone yard.

I had to write a review after reading all the negative reviews some people put online. I am a home builder and flip homes as well. In the last 15 years I have used Top Surface for all my counter and tile work. Let me just say right here right now, the people writing negatives are full of crap. Being a builder you learn that problems arise and its your experience that gets you through to the next phase. I cannot begin to thank Kevin for his years of hard work with me and his knowledge of construction in general....He is the guru when it comes to design, slab placement, seaming and structural integrity. Eg.There is a reason we use 2X6s instead of 2X4s in areas that need strength, this goes the same for thousands pounds of stone counters. He has explained to me many times that seaming needs to be designed for safety and strength and not just aesthetics.I am sure any MONKEY can put a seam where you would like it, but you know you would be the first to file a lawsuit when it was YOUR seam design that failed and killed a child playing in a cabinet all because you know more than an expert with lifetime of experience. But, you know more than everyone I am sure.... Thank you Top Surface for the years of great service.

Great people to work with lots of experience

We contracted with Top Surface to do our kitchen counters about 5+ years ago at the recommendation of several neighbors. I dont remember there being any issues at the time (other than the standard coordination of contractors) and Ive been very pleased with the counters so when we decided to tackle the bathrooms - we didnt even look somewhere else. We went straight over and ordered them with Top Surface without a second thought.All started well - we found what we wanted - and scheduled to have the work done. Of course - as is customary - we paid up front.When it came time for installation - we scheduled a Friday but due to all of the rain that weve had recently - they called and needed to reschedule. Understanding - we chose the following Friday giving them time to make up their backlog.Long story short - out installation date was rescheduled twice and on the day of the install they were 4 hours late.When they finally arrived at our home I was displeased commented on them being late. The owner responded by telling me he could leave with the counters if there was going to be an issue and that they could schedule another time and a different installer to come back. What?Bottom line was that I needed my counters and he knew it. I said there would be no further issue and he could get started in either of the bathrooms.The counters look great. Really – that was never a concern. It’s why we contracted them in the first place. But based on that interaction - we will never do business with them again. Terrible customer service and appreciation.

Able to get the job done quick and found the nicest slab of granite for my kitchen!

Great service and great prices. Have used them for over 5 years and wouldnt go with anyone else. I have tried other companies who offer a little better pricing to compete, but it has always ended up a nightmare!

I contracted Top Surface to install kitchen countertops. Everything was ok before i gave them the initial deposit. They have fudged their contract wordings and they interpret that they can put granite seams where ever they want as per contract. also, they claim initial deposit is non-refundable even if they mess up complete job. They focus more on getting customer signatures on every paper than making sure they understand what need to be done in the job. On top of that they are arrogant without any sense of customer orientation.First of all, they agreed to install before 21st dec. Despite my reminders, they showed up on 22nd with unfinished pieces only to take those back to the shop. Then they came again on 28th and broke the news that they have cut totally opposite to how they agreed before. Initial plan was to make seam to the right of sink but without informing us, they decided to change location of seams them self and put seam in middle of the countertop. seam at wrong place mess up the whole esthetics of the granite job. They left uninstalled pieces of granite at my house and left.Later i contacted them and they started arguing that they themself decide locations of the seams and they dont even need to discuss such things with customers.I guess they mainly deal with remnants where these things are ok. it was my mistake to give them full kitchen job.later they refused to fix the job and asked me to find another installer .They started threatening me using their bankruptcy lawyer. So I got them to a small claims court. It was amazing how lame their answers were - under oath - it was so obvious that judge asked them to return all the deposit they had collected from me plus the court fees.Also, they have updated their contract saying they can decide any seam themselves without customers choice. So, if you sign that contract and they screw up your job, they can still threaten you in court that you have signed the contract.My recommendation is to avoid them at all costs.

Good place to buy granite remnants, good service, great price and on time professional installation, the piece of granite about 7x3 ft was about half of what I was getting quote from other places, will go back again.
