Bought a PS4 took it home and it didnt work. Had it less then 24 hours. Told nothing could be done. Bought jewelry from here but I wont be returning.

Horrid lay a way policy, if some reason the lay away doesn’t work out, you will get NOTHING. They claim 33% of total lay away will be kept for restocking. I made the mistake of trying to get a Luger through y’all. I paid at Least $1000 in and I had some unexpected expenses come up. Instead of asking my money back I had the common sense mentality I’ll get a decent rifle instead with credit. I found a decent one. When I found one I was told extra money would be needed. I paid $1000 into this and can only use $200 in store credit! After a week I debated and decided to cut all ties with this business. Those cheapskates wouldn’t even give me $200 back, only store credit. So long story short, they have the Luger, sold me nothing, and they earned $1000. Loan shark like policy. Don’t waste any money here. Texas pawn and jewelry as well as best pawn are a billion times better than this!Edit, I got $416 in store credit not $200.

Great pawn shop. All employees here are very nice especially shop manager Debra. Always greetyou when you walk through the door. Great selection. Like the pricing on the tabs showing the decrease of pricing in the future if the product stays on the shelf. Outstanding service.

I have been going to this pawn shop on and off for years now because of the location. My boyfriend and I like to get the cheap DVDs there and usually get some sort of hunting equipment. However, I have begun to notice that the employees are extremely racist towards me, kurt and tbh just rude when I go in there. They never want to work with me and usually a good majority of them run to the back instead of helping me. So I will wait for someone to assist me for at least 15 min which would be understandable if they had a customer other than me in the store at that time. If you are a minority do not go here they will not treat you fairly and make rude remarks about your ethnicity.

Definitely my favorite pawnshop. Very friendly people working here. Management not at all aloof as I find in some of the pawn shops on south congress. Negotiation on used stuff is plenty fair if youre being realistic and remembering they have a business to run. I probably buy tools or sporting goods every month or two as I dont live close. Still worth the drive.

I love this place. The staff is friendly and I like that they remember you when you walk in the door. dont let exterior fool you they have good products and prices. I have used them many times over the past five years. I had a ring I took to them and got 700 for it and when I took it to the one by walmart and they offered me 250. and they were rude and didnt seem like they had the time for me. Im always greeted with a smile a welcoming feeling. if you need to pawn or looking to buy come here. the lay away is awesome too

Ive been coming here for over 2 years. The people are always friendly and nice. Go above and beyond my expectations. Management is great as well and will help in any way they can. Definitely recommend.

Hands down one of the worse pawn shops I’ve ever been to. Staff was cold, calous, and directly rudr. They are unwilling to work with you and make terrible offers. They directly lied to me about the value of my item while not even looking me in the eyes. It almost seems like they want you to leave.I’m not sure if all 3 women behind the counter were suicidal, but the glossy glazed over, dead look in their eyes showed some serious deep seeded emotional issues. Management should pay for therapy and customer service training.I’ve gone here 5 times because of the convenient location, and all 5 times I’ve left feeling stupid with less than I wanted. I would give 0 stars if I could. Again, worst pawn shop I’ve been to

They are very nice here. they DO NOT have good deals on DVDs however. everyone else has realized they are only worth a buck... not so much at cash america. otherwise, all good.

This is a Must Know! I didnt review on google or yelp til now but I know ppl really go here so I figured I would put it here. I walk in to this Cash America and see a Kristin working. I show her my old ipad and she then treats me like I stole it. Asking me the name on it and silly questions. I told her it was my mom and told me she would have to come sell it. I had never been tokd nothing so stupid in my life. First off who would steal a 1st gen ipad worth maybe 75 bucks?? And if I was dumb enough to steal it why would I go somewhere where they would need my ID?Regardless the way she looked at me because I was black was enough to tell she was stereotyping me FOR NO REASON! Looking at me crazy as if I would steal old electronics smh! It was just wrong on so many levels. I advised her I had already done business in there several times so she didnt have to profile me. She looked at me crazy again and denied it. Long story short profiling has to stop. Most ppl dont care for pawn shops so this may not get heard but I will be calling corporate for this nonsense!

Dont judge a book by it`s cover, this place may not look like much from the outside, but I can assure you that once inside it wont take long before you realize that this aint no booth at the flea market pedaling things that nobody wants. You see name brand items in a condition worthy of owning. Nice neat and organized inventory that makes finding what your looking for a breeze. Im not sure why anyone would have anything negative about the staff, I have always been treated with the utmost respect and courtesy even by jr staff members, if they cant answer your question the store manager can. This lady knows her stuff and will always do everything in her ability to make sure that when you walk out the door that door that you know that you will be coming back for sure. Whether it be trying to get you as much as she can if you need a loan or selling you a quality item at a fair price, this lady knows how to run a pawn shop a class act in my opinion. I am a avid pawn shopper and deal with many pawn brokers in the austin area and I can say this whole heartedly, very few of them made me feel like wanting to ever come back, but they do exist and The Cedar Park Cash America has always been one of them in my opinion as long as Debra has been the store manager there. I am confident that your experience will reflect the kind that I have always had all the times I have done business there for over 10 years now.

This pawn shop has been here since i was just a small boy.. I have been there about ten times in my 40 years on this earth, and if you are looking to puchase used goods. This place hates you.. They are rude, susppicious and frankly a bit crusty..I will not return, and would urge you to avoid them as well.. I have been to the other pawn shop over by walmart, and that guy likes customers, and money, and is generally a cool dude.. The people as cash america are not. Cash america should go away. they are not doing anything usefull for this community.ugly building, dirty shop, rude behavior, poor quality goods,and theyre getting rich all the while.. show these people that reputation is crucial to financial success in a small community.

Closes at 5:00 and when I got there at 5:05 the woman would only talk to me through the door, saying theyre closed so she wasnt allowed to open the door. I had cash on hand for a bike I already knew I wanted. I walked back to the car only for her to open the door and get in the truck with her husband who inevitably cut me off in traffic.

These people offered me 20 bucks for a tv, an xbox 360, and a bunch of games. Very cheap; i would avoid this location.

Shop there if you want, but I wont. The employees are ridiculously rude. I cancelled a $1000 lawaway (over something that I really did want) because I just dont want to ever have to deal with those jerks again. Ill find it somewhere else.
