I have had problems (a lot of them) with my feet for decades. I mentioned my recent issues to a dear friend who recommended Iowa Running Company. She told me how much they helped her, her mom and mom-in-law (she got them gift cards to go there, and they were hooked). So, I went to see them on 10/7, and Jim and Lynette did NOT disappoint. They were incredibly knowledgeable, funny and patient with all my questions - which were many. I cannot say enough about this wonderful business, and Im so thankful they are right here in Cedar Rapids! My shoes feel amazing, and my feet are, as well. Im excited to continue my weight loss journey, especially now that I can actually walk for more than a few minutes without pain! Thank you Jim and Lynette! I will definitely be back!

He Talked me into my first marathon and I got hooked. Two years later I qualified for Boston. Great products, great service and super inclusive!

As long as this place is open they will have my business. I called right before close to make sure they had my the brand/size in stock but it went to the recording, but then they called me back and answered all my questions! Wonderful servicen They make sure the shoes fit and work for what you want. If you even have the smallest complaint about the shoe they are off to find a different one for you. It wasnt about getting people in and out they wanted you to be comfortable and get what works for you.

Clifton from Iowa Running provided the most exceptional customer service I have honestly ever experienced. I bought my husband some shoes and they accidentally got shipped to the wrong address. Clifton tracked the shoes down and had them overnighted to my house and kept me in the loop during the whole process. He offered to give me a $20 credit card refund because of the delay in delivery, but the refund never appeared on my credit card statement. I wasn’t worried about it because of the effort involved in tracking down the shoes and getting them to me. Well, I’m assuming after doing his accounting books/balances he realized the refund didn’t get processed so he mailed me a check and wrote me a letter explaining what happened. Absolutely incredible and just so impressed with the customer service of this store.

I had a very positive experience with this store. Both of the men were very professional and provided excellent recommendations and reviews of the various shoes. I was also very impressed with their customer service. While I did not purchase something the day I went in, I will definitely be back in the future!

I did not have a good experience here at all. It is okay that they dont carry what I need. Understandable. But when I tell someone what I have tried in the past and it did not work to be told well you need to be open to it as if they didnt believe me is just not cool. Why should I be open to it if it doesnt work? My feet are shaped much differently; even WeRun agreed. I had to tell the attendant over and over what I needed as well. Not a good experience.

Our favorite running store! We haven’t bought shoes yet but they helped me find the right pants for my boyfriend and ordered the size sports bra I needed and held it behind the counter for me after it arrived. I’ve also picked up a couple headbands that are great and we’re very reasonably priced.

I went in to buy some new work shoes, and Michael was extremely helpful and patient! He sized me up and asked me what I needed and he got me set up right away. They watch you walk/run and assess what would work for you based on that. You could probably find the same product for cheaper, but for this level of customer service, Id pay more any day!

Customer service is great - friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Prices are reasonable and they have a good selection of shoes, and other running gear, particularly gels and other energy products. The location also seems to work out really well for me and my schedule.

This shop has a great process in place for selecting the best running shoe. Be prepared to run! I test drove several shoes on their treadmill, as they analyzed my running form to select the best shoe for me. For the first time in my life, I bought a pair of running shoes knowing they were going to work well for me out on the road.

Wow! Super Service!! And the best socks EVER! I called 15 minutes before close...day before a race...they had awesome gear ready to go when I got there and even stayed late to help me get ahead of my gear deficiency! I stocked up thst day and got a preview of their winter gear that had just come in. I plan to winterize my run here soon! Thank you!

Just bought a pair of shoes and had a great experience. I explained how I worked out and some difficulties that I have with my feet. They honed in on my concerns and produced 3 possibilities. We then worked through them and I made my choice. But here’s the thing, they than redid my laces. Guarantee that 99.9% of other operations don’t do that after the sale is done. Hats off to Clifton our salesperson.
