Love this place! 💜 My husband and I ordered this platter to share and it was so fun trying everything. The pakoras with cilantro mint and tamarind sauces were amazing! The chef is truly talented and her husband patiently answered our questions regarding the menu. Our server was great, the decor is fun and relaxing. We cant wait to go back and take our friends and family with us!

The food was delicious and they had my favorite indian dessert Ive been looking for. The only thing was they didnt have the cool booths available when we came in and there was a 45 min wait, but we didnt mind that too much!

Everything about this place is wonderful!The food was quick and super flavorful! Got the traditional chicken curry which comes medium spicy - well described and big portions! Husband got the chilli chicken which seemed to be a mix of an Indian/Asian dish in a hot red sauce. Try that one if you like fiery Asian food and arent sure what to get! I really appreciated the simple but beautiful presentation of the food. Surprisingly my least favorite part was the garlic naan, the garlic didnt stand out and usually Id scarf down naan.They have completely redone the place from how it was as a taco place and its beautiful inside. Would be a nice place to take a date for a moderately priced meal. The curtained booths add a little privacy to chat. Staff was helpful and very nice too! Well definitely be back!

An amazing and much needed Indian restaurant at Blairs Ferry road, Cedar rapids, Iowa. I tried a few dishes and everything was so delicious. I suggest everybody to try it out if ur passing near by.

We were blown away by this restaurant! Decor was so exquisite, food was beyond delicious and the service was full of love! They have an array of unique dishes and each one of them that we tried was busting with flavor! Must try curry noodles - never had anything like it quite before! Nan were crisp, chili chicken, butter chicken were on point! Can’t wait to go again!!

For the amount that we paid, food was bland, incredibly distasteful.The paav Bhaji did not taste like a paav Bhaji, especially given the fact that its a recipe from my hometown, so I know how it tastes.My friend had to recook it to make the test near to a paav Bhaji.The paneer pulao was bland too, and the vada paav had too much besan in it.If you are branding your restaurant as street food, you need to step up your game and hire chefs who know the taste of street food.Other people have have recommended some curries like saag are edible and tasty, maybe they are but given my first experience,I dont think I am going back.

This restaurant is a serious GEM. The food was so flavourful & decadent. I was so conflicted with what items I liked better. I mean it when I say EVERYTING on that menu is absolutely divine! The ambiance will transport you to a place thats warm and fuzzy. The staff was very courteous and polite. The food will keep you wanting more. Keep up the fantastic job Sneh! You will see me again.

Had the lamb curry, butter chicken, chili chicken and the poutine (just because we had to try it!) for carry-out. Just like the Melting Bite, their previous place at NewBo, the food was great and the service was excellent! Delhicacy really does fantastic fusion dishes while keeping rich and flavorful curries. Next time, were getting dessert.

Amazing food, probably my favorite Indian restaurant in town! I spoke with the owner of Bops who recommended it to me who said that everything is home made from scratch and let me tell you, you can tell. The wait time is longer than a lot of places but I hear it is because the owner is currently the only one cooking the food at the moment however it is defiantly worth the wait. You have to give this place a try, we got the Malai Kofta and it was divine!

Great flavors with the chicken kebab and Tikka Masala curry. Mildest heat level was still pretty tangy so heads up. Portions little small for price point.

Beautiful Atmosphere but wont able to say the same for food. I ordered pav bhaji and sorry to say it was not a pav bhaji or anything edible. curries are good and I would suggest saag paneer but disappointed with Indian street food.

We liked our meals and got to try unique menu items. Will definitely try more.

This is the best Indian Cuisine I have ever had. Everything we ordered was sooo delicious.I highly recommend the Gulab Jamoon with ice cream for dessert!

Dont usually complain actually hate to especially when a new restaurant. Bad enough I was told would take 45 minutes to cook food when the had 3 tables sat in the whole place. Then took another 25 minutes past the time they said would be done. Got my food home and it was missing the rice. Be one thing if they were packed wasnt even 10 people in the whole place and over a hour to get 3 items. Called twice to see were my rice was no one answered another place that has potential but will probably fail cause if poor management.

Last night I got some food to go. The staff didnt seem very happy except the man behind the bar. The 2 ladies I interacted with were helpful but didnt smile once or even acknowledge anything I said past ordering food. Wait times were fine. I ordered butter chicken curry and a chickapea curry. They were good but the spiciness level was way more than mild. I would say it was more in the hot range skipping medium. My wife and I are not super spicy people so we were dissapointed when our food was almost inedible. Also the Naan was burnt. We will go to other indian restaurants next time.

Nice Indian restaurant. We ordered Paav bhaji and Dahi Puri Chat from this place. Paav bhaji was tasty but bit salty and Dahi Puri Chaat could be improved. Overall, it’s good but little overpriced considering the food quantity.

Love the many vegetarian options here. The Paneer street tacos were so colorful and delicious looking. They tasted even better, amazing work. Great option for anyone looking for something new. I cant wait to try more items from this menu.

Great curry sampler/meal. Took a little time to make but was a delicious lunch. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag Paneer and Garlic Naan. Everything was perfectly cooked and flavorful.

Delish menu with lots of flavor! Super vegetarian options. All cooked made to order. They have tamed the spice down (much to my disappointment), but it’s still awesome. Transports you to a big city when you take your first bite!

THE BEST EVER Butter Paneer, Naan, Eggplant Pakora- everything is flawless!

Took the family there and ordered a wide variety of dishes including wraps, tacos and entrees. The only thing kind of good was the Naan. The Pakora was extremely greasy. The Butter chicken was watery. The Saag Chicken did not have much flavor. The wraps were cold. And the tacos had more salad than meat. There are much better Indian restaurants in Cedar Rapids.

Get the poutine fries with paneer. Theyre phenomanal!

Absolutely incredible. Enjoyed lunch here with my fiancé and his mom. We tried several curries (Tikka, Malai), the Gobi Manchuria and Kathi roll. Recommend EVERYTHING! Cozy, delicious, perfectly spiced. Will be back :-)

The curry was amazing! Ive been searching for somewhere I could find some rib-sticking curry.My Wednesday every week has become a ritual of going to the market and trying a curry.Perfection is doing something well, and doing it again and again.Butter curry should have a light curry flavor married with tomato, but also be buttery and creamy. They aced it. Ive had it twice and the quality hasnt slipped, not even a little.Their plating makes me forget I actually just got this from a food stall.I love going back, but my only critique is seeing them get their own brick and mortar some day. I would proudly go to a melting bite resturant even more than pulling up to the market.

Melting Bite is a great locally owned business down in Newbo. Have to try their great variety of foods. A must see if you are down town. The owners are super nice. If you like supporting local business head to Melting Bite and enjoy!!

Came to NewBo after seeing their menu on Facebook. It was delicious!! The food was slow coming out but it was amazing. I will definitely return again and again to try their expanding menu in their new spot in the market.

Love this place! It is our go to for after church lunch! The Butter Chicken and Tikki Masala are our favorites as well as some of the appetizers!

Ive had the currito last time I was there. Its one of the greatest things Ive ever eaten! They can seriously cook in their kitchen.

Delicious food, with clearly marked vegan and gluten-free options. I tried a “can be made vegan “ item and had a communication mishap. They handled it as well as possible; I’ll just stick to the marked items next time.

Normally I dont leave any Reviews but cant keep quiet here. Ordered saag chicken curry with Naan which is 16$. When i received the order, there are 3 or 4 very small pieces of chicken in it. Any Indian restaurant around the world serves better portion of chicken I would say.Not sure if its by mistake or thats their Regular portion. Its more Pricey than Paradise in the town and serves lesser portionsFinally disappointed.

I was skeptical at first about trying something new. I have never had Indian food before. When I got to the counter Sneh was the first to greet me with a huge smile and warm welcome. She asked what I would like and I explained to her that I have never tried Indian food before and was nervous on what to try. She asked a lot of questions on what type of food I currently eat and the gave recommendations based off that on what I would probably enjoy the most. She recommended Bhalla Papdi Chaat -- and let me tell you. It was AMAZING!! Then I tried a Mousse Bombs... Need I say anything more.I highly recommend getting down to the NewBo City Market and checking out the Melting Bite.

Eating at the Melting Bite was a treat! I had not ever had Indian cuisine before and now Im a big fan.
