I came in here and was skeptical and didnt know what to expect.greeted by a friendly smile and very helpful. Very enjoyable to be around. They gave me the hearing test and explained it to me . The Dr. Explained the test and got me some great hearing aids go try try today. Amazing results! So far Im very Happy and impressed!

I took my mother to the Cedar Rapids office and was very pleased with the experience. My wife had recently received some hearing aides from an online company and was very disappointed in them. So I suggested she visit Concepts. What a difference! She loves her new hearing aides and the service provided by Melissa. I had an appointment scheduled on my phone on Friday. evidently it was not not scheduled so we reviewed when the next scheduled time was. the person saw me any way and was very cordule and addressed my concerns, I left the office very satisfied. That evening I tried watching television and one of my hearing aids went out and was not functioning. I called Sandy and she said she would see me evening though she. had a full schedule;e on Monday. the problem was corrected and I left satisfied again.

This is my second set of hearing aids that I have purchased from Concept by Iowa Hearing. Melissa is very professional and is always pleasant to talk to. I just had the most wonderful experience as I was having issues with my Resound hearing aid that wasn’t working nor was it purchased or set-up by Concepts by Iowa Hearing Aid Center. However, they treated me like an old friend and fixed my issue within minutes and sent me on my way with some wax guards. When I asked Andrea the receptionist and Melissa the Audiologist what I owed them, they responded “nothing.” Wow, I was just amazed and so very blessed. They have my highest recommendation.

After researching hearing aid centers and speaking to family friends, I scheduled an appointment for the Cedar Rapids location for my mother with Melissa Meggers (who was highly recommended by our friends and long-time patients). We were met by Melissa who was kind, warm and welcoming. She immediately set my mother at ease, who had been very apprehensive. After a thorough test and explanation of my mothers hearing, her recommendation was exactly what my mother needed. My mother is finally hearing things she didnt realize she was missing, just like Melissa explained to her she would and to not be overwhelmed. What a comforting experience! I came in worried because my wife is always yelling at me and saying I do not ever listen to her...turns out I have a moderate loss out of my left ear. Years of no or poor hearing protection while shooting and setting off fireworks took its toll. What a relief, I knew I wasn’t ignoring her! Now, I have proof! And a plan, thanks to Melissa! Once my benefits change in January I will be coming back in to see her! I strongly recommend her, she was so receptive to my concerns and made me feel completely at ease throughout the whole process. What a wonderful experience. I was in denial about what I was missing in conversation and my children were always telling me I needed to have my hearing tested. If I am being honest, I was very anxious about the whole idea. From the minute I entered the office, I was greeted with warmth. I felt so comfortable. My hearing test showed moderate hearing loss and after the consultation, I felt so educated and encouraged to get on the road to better health. I have had my hearing aids for almost two months now and I am doing great! I never knew I was missing out on so much. I went to several places before purchasing my hearing aids. Concept by Iowa has a much better warranty and buy-back program than the other on I checked out. Also the staff and service is fantastic.

I have hearing aids for about a year now and its been a pleasure working with Melissa in the Cedar Rapids office. I dropped in unscheduled last week to ask a question, and Melissa had a few spare minutes to see me. She is so helpful, my hearing aids are not very noticeable and really help me stop asking others to repeat themselves. Dont avoid a free hearing test that may just change the rest of your life. They did not answer their phones. The expectation that one has to go online to fill out their questionare to get a call back is absurd. What was my 80 year old mother to do? They talk a good story on WMT AM 600 radio. We are left disappointed.

Cant say enough good things about the Cedar Rapids Concept by Iowa Hearing Aid Center! Melissa and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. After I got my new hearing aids I had a few questions, and At my follow-up appointment a couple weeks later all of them were addressed. I was very pleased! Ive never had hearing aids before, and Melissa took her time explaining everything about them, and really, wouldnt let me leave until she was satisfied I was confident in their use. I highly recommend them (and have) to anyone suffering a hearing loss. My only regret is waiting so long!

If you have a hearing problem and need the greatest place to go to be tested and fitted for hearing aids, this is the place to go!! I refer anyone that I come in contact with to go to Concept by Iowa Hearing Aid Centers. There may be other places that have cheaper hearing aids but they dont have the customer service and follow up like this place. Dont waste your time at other hearing aid centers, go to Concept by Iowa Hearing Aid Centers!

I had a appointment to be fitted with a 2nd hearing aid......After waiting for approximately 15 minutes, I went back for the fitting, instantly I was greated by a woman who obviously had been having a bad day. She had a very apparent attitude and scowl about her person.....After about 5 minutes of her attitude and extremely un-professional demeanor, I got up, told her I was tired of it, and left......I would not go back to that place of business if I was deaf, and they were giving away hearing devices.....
