I stopped in on Tuesday after 4 to grab a snack and decided to add a latte. Now I remember why I dont purchase drinks here. While the service was pleasant, the espresso was NOT! My latte was bitter, leaving no remnants of the flavors I enjoy. Thanks for the delicious treats tho.

One of my favorite coffee shops. Huge menu of drinks. Great view of the local lake. Encouraging Christian scripture posted outside the shop. Beautiful decor and solid sweets and breakfast sandwiches to munch on. What more do you need?

I cant say enough good things about Patty and Jeff Hazel the owners of Hazelnut Coffee Co. I needed to create wedding favors for my niece. Her specific request was that the tea come from Hazelnut Coffee Co. because this was were she met her now husband for the 1st time :) I live hundreds of miles a way so legistically I thought ok, this is going to be a challenge. It wasnt. When I reached out to Patty she was happy to help bring the idea of tea wedding favors to reality. Over a couple months we worked via text, email, and phone on what we needed including custom lables for the tea (tubes were ordered separately by me). While we also ordered coffee and biscotti (all natural) we didnt use them for the favors but I can tell you they were just as delicious as the tea. Thank you Hazelnut Coffee Co. for helping make my nieces wedding day extra special!

Great spot on the lake to take in the view. They have awesome coffee including french press and cold brew. They make a really good espresso in a small cup with a little half and half. The toasted bagel with cream cheese is really nice. There is seating indoors and outdoors. They offer drive-thru and plenty of parking.

Coffee is ok. . . in my 40 years of living I never thought I would find a coffee shop as weird as this one though. . . lady with brown hair and glasses took my order and was very pushy and acted like I was ordering slow, and the workers inside looked dead. . . My Americano was ok, tasted more like an Italiano. . . but I hope the tall girl that made my drink is doing ok. I will stick with my other coffee shop. Thanks anyways, Mr and Mrs Hazel.

Great atmosphere and prices. They are one of the few small coffee shops to offer Nitro Coffee, and it is excellent. The pastry and bake good offerings are well done, and fresh. A lot of care is put into their drinks and it definitely shows. Good selection, friendly staff, great for a quick drink, or a place to meet with friends.

Lovely cafe, nice atmosphere... my first experience made me want to make this a regular stop, as I visit my family in Celina weekly. It’s a long drive home and I need to make the most of my time, so I generally look for a nice place with WiFi to have lunch or coffee, where I can accomplish pressing work items. It’s wonderful to find a place like Hazelnut Coffee Company where I can relax and enjoy my time while I do so.Let’s face it, Cafes and WiFi have long been synonymous! Unfortunately, during my second visit the internet connection was lost and no solution was found while I was there. Things happen... and they are beyond our control 😊💕A week later I stopped in again. After I bought a latte and pastry, and set myself up for a little work, I discovered they still had no WiFi 😏 My mistake... apparently I should have inquired first, then taken my $ down the street.An hour wasted, with no concern by staff or management... I realized that this was why they still had no internet! Clearly it wasn’t a priority.Also, you can’t pass half and half off as heavy cream, so if you’re out just say so! (Or educate staff in the difference?)Still hope they can work things out...I think it’s the best cafe in town. I’ll try again when they get it together... I hope I will be able to update my review toward the positive.

Getting served coffee by the mayor of Celina is something so special about this small town! Mr. Hazel and his wife own this cozy cafe and create real relationships with their patrons. This is a great place to stop by if you are driving through Celina. It is also a great place for residents who are just getting used to the area. The interior is filled with curated vintage items without feeling cluttered. Hardwood throughout the building gives you the feeling of being near a warm hearth. The coffee itself is bold and strong! Flexible menu options let you personalize your drinks. And dont get me started on the bakery items....I love those even more than the coffee!!

I had originally rated this place higher, but upon returning several times afterwards, I have decided to edit my review. I recently visited and I ordered the sappy maple frappe, one of the seasonal fall drinks. The description of the drink says that it has espresso in it. When the drink was made, it was made with cold brew, not espresso. When I asked the girl who took my order about it, I was told that they make it with cold brew, not espresso...well then, dont write espresso on the drink description. It tasted like a big cup of sugared milk, not much taste at all.On another visit I ordered a different drink called Indian Summer, it too was made incorrectly and did not include the items listed on the drink card, no whipped cream or caramel on top (like the one I had had previously). Why the inconsistency?The first time I visited this place, I enjoyed it...but the three times since, no. I will not be going back....three strikes, and youre out.

Great coffee and great service. The owners really have put their heart into this business and in a town with very little to offer in the way of coffee, Hazelnut is an oasis in a coffee desert. Not only is the coffee great, the bake goods are all completely fresh and out of this world good. I regularly visit Celina, Ohio to see my family up here. And I must say I do really enjoy Hazelnut Coffee Company. The product is very good, and I was impressed. Living in Louisville, KY, we have a lot of very good quality coffee shops. I wish I could give this company a 5 star rating, but due to the wait, its not possible. It really depends on how long you are okay with waiting for coffee. I sat in the drive thru for 30+ minutes. It was a test of patience, and the product was worth the wait, but I feel as though they really need to work out a way to move traffic through efficiently, to ensure the best customer experience and reviews.

Amazing made from scratch baked goods, cinnamon rolls, muffins, scones, etc. I remember getting a premium pumpkin latte last year that was rich and decadent. Nice atmosphere on the inside too.

Love this place! I like the old-style french press coffee.. small size for one person. Very friendly service too.. I forgot my case today and they allowed me to come and pick it up after they closed. I plan on having my future meetings with my local clients here.

A trendy little coffee joint owned by Celina Mayor Jeff Hazel. Good coffee, nice staff, and a really neat atmosphere. A little small and a sort of odd placement, but that doesnt take away from it being a nice place to stop.

My fiancee and I have been here countless times and whenever we pass through town, we always have to stop here. Always great service and great coffee!

This was not intended as a negative review. I am a big fan of the pastries and the staff has always been friendly.My experiences here were never unpleasant the only thing that keeps this from being a 4 star in my opinion is the consistency of the drinks. Ive gotten a total of 4 brown sugar cortadas, the first was delicious, the second was okay but missing something. Unfortunately the third was undrinkable. It was very bitter and I did not have time to turn around and exchange it due to having to get to work. I decided to give it another chance about a week later and the 4th was better than the third but still had a very different taste.

Anything you get here will satisfy you beyond what you thought coffee could. The baked goods they offer are large portions that melt in your mouth. The baristas are courteous as well as educated in how to actually make a good cup of coffee and or flavored drink.

I come to Celina from Georgia a few times per year. I ALWAYS stop at Hazelnut Coffee Company. Excellent coffee, great atmosphere and great employees.

A must try in Celina. Best tasting Lattes around with plenty of other options to keep you coming back. The service is always excellent and it is easy to see the pride each worker takes in their craft. We will be regulars and feel great about supporting such a quality local business.
