Awesome store. Their prices on lumber, trim, etc. are way better than big box stores. Ive bought lumber here a few times, but finally looked around the store today and they have pretty much everything you would need.

This place is amazing! Easily the best lumber yard in Denver. I’ve had lots of great experiences here, but today was the best: I had them deliver some beautiful redwood for a planter/bench I’m building, and I missed the driver’s call, so I wasn’t able to meet him at the house. He left me a courteous message that he’d leave the wood in my driveway, which he did very neatly, but he forgot to leave the nails and screws I had ordered. I called the store, just to let them know, and to have them give me a credit, but Mark insisted on bringing them to my house on his way home from work, on his own time! Who does that? I beg you to pass on the big box stores who have lost all memory of good customer service and support this locally owned gem. The wood they deliver is always straight, top quality, and professionally handled. Thanks to Mark and Adams Lumber!

Ive been going to Adams for 20 years now and I have to give them some love. Personalized service and very knowledgeable no matter who helps you out. Theyve actually got up and went over to where the time I was looking for. Cant get that anywhere else.

Well, should have listened to a few of the other reviews. I special ordered $2,000 worth of rough cedar from Adam’s for framework of a pergola project. I specifically told them that I wanted very clean 6X6 posts as I was going to just throw a clear coat on them. These posts were over $200 each. Waited a week and the lumber was delivered to the house. The next day I had the post holes dug and the cement on the way only to discover that after unwrapping them, two were heavily damaged. I had already paid for the cement and had no option other than to use them. I sent Adam’s pictures of the damage and they agreed they were damaged and not acceptable to their standards. However, all the owner Mark offered was to “try to give me a discount on a future purchase!” This should have been caught prior to sending them out for delivery and are the focal point of my pergola… I rarely take the time to give reviews, but I clearly gave Adam’s a chance to make this right and they did not do so. Buyer beware.

Tara gas been great to work with as I have been working on my DIY deck project. She has helped me every step of the way. They are well stocked with the items I need to do the job right. Excellent support with knowledgeable staff. Worth the drive. You wont be disappointed.

The customer service that I received was the worst that I have ever experienced in my life. The person who I was working with abruptly hung up the phone with me prior to completing my order because he had another customer. I left a couple messages and he failed to return my calls. Finally, after several days when I reached out to him, he gave me the excuse of being busy and put me on the spot by demanding what I wanted. I asked for the manager and he says he is the owner of the business. The name of the owner is Mark and Mark was rude & didn’t care a bit about taking care of his customers.

I usually deal with Tara, but everyone from the two brothers/owners to the loading crew are friendly and their prices are fair as well. Just go and see for yourself...youll be glad you did!

Adams is my go to lumber company for quality lumber and advice. Im a DIYer and they never treat me like a second class citizen because of that. My only frustration is that they dont always carry what I need which requires me to go elsewhere and receive lower quality service. Went here after a nearby compiteor was too busy to help me special order an old piece of baseboard trim. Walked in and Tara helped me right away. She was so good that she found this old piece of janky trim via cell phone picture in like 1.25 minutes! Ill have to come back and check out their lumber selection sometime! You would think it would be hard to run a business like this poorly, but the Adams brothers are notorious for broken promises and lies. this is the best lumber company in Denver to stay away from unless you dont care about your money or good customer service for honesty

Meh...This place cant even figure out a bill of materials for a deck. Never heard of a lumber yard that you couldnt just give dimensions to and get your materials list back. Guess Ill take my order for a 1000 sq ft deck elsewhere
