North Shore Fence just installed our fence today.This company is wonderful! Two installers came and took down the old stockade fencing and took the old fencing away. They had a great system in place and you knew that they knew what they were doing. The installation was pretty quick and the gentlemen cleaned up after themselves. The PVC fence is really a great quality fence and we were told the product was made on Long Island. I would highly recommend this company . Thank you.

For the second time in several years, the Town of Brookhaven s snowplow truck completely demolished our custom made vinyl mailbox and post this last winter. After I got the parts and a turned vinyl post from the manufacturer in Pennsylvania that is no longer made, Joe the owner sent his son to fabricate and install it, Steve is a phenomenal craftsman. He is super conscientious with measurements, assembly, installation and cleanup. He carried everything for me. It looks phenomenal. I wish he did other things as I would use him in the blink of an eye. Most importantly, he is a gentleman who takes after his dad. Jeff Klein

I Purchased a fence for $10,000. we set a date 6 weeks later. On the scheduled day they showed up with the wrong fence, then they went back to get the right fence never came back that day. I had to call to see what the issue was and why why they never returned. Was told my color fence never came in and that they only had the color they showed up with. Was basically told take it or leave it. Unreal, I gave them 2k deposit and took 2 days off from work to be home for the installation. They don’t communicate that they are installing a different fence and expect me to settle... I would never do business or recommend them to anyone!

Every part of this process was fantastic. The owner came out, gave an estimate and a clear indication of what will be done and when it will be done. The price wasnt cheap but it was fair for the materials he was using. They gave us a date which they maintained. The work was completed over an afternoon and the next morning. The guys doing the fence demolition and then rebuild were really nice and clean. They did a wonderful and professional job all around. I can now safely let my dog in the backyard with no concerns and the fencing looks wonderful! I dont have enough good things to say about the way this company handles their business!

We love our fence! They did a great job putting up our vinyl fence recently (9/16), however they left a bit of a mess. Still picking up plastic shards and have plastic dust where they were cutting the pieces that i have no idea how to get out of the grass. I also found a saw blade after they left when I took my 2 toddler aged children outside to play (why i only rated 3 stars, sharp objects in a yard that clearly had a playset= nope). I still absolutely recommend them, just maybe have a tarp handy to lend them!

I have used this company twice this 2020 calendar year. Don is a great salesman from Suffolk Fence. I guess they are affiliated with North Shore Fence. The two workers, Herbert ( I keep forgetting his name) and Pedro are phenomenal fence installers. They did a fantastic job. The fence is beautiful. I highly recommend this company.

Great price and good job....

Within 3 months a gate post broke. The owner said the damage wasn’t covered under warranty and suggested our landscaper did the damage. (I don’t have a landscaper). The post was so badly broken the gate swung all the way to the wrong side and couldn’t be opened. They sent a private contractor to assess the damage and give an estimate. I had to pay to have the post replaced and the gate fixed.

Very rude. I was standing their for a while no one even acknowledged me. Then at the end i just had to give the lady my number so she could call me with an estimate and she starts answering the phones and leaving me standing there some more. Spending 99% of my time in there just standing there. The other 1% of the time was horrible customer service, basically treating me like they dont want me there, probbly because i was going to install it myself. I had to just walk out. No respect for your time at all and they talk to you like youre stupid.

Not the friendliest staff you ever want to deal with and over priced...there are better options

Great service! North Shore Fence put my fence up several years ago. When I recently had an issue where my two big dogs crashed into the fence and popped out some slats that I was unable to pop back into place, I called them and they sent someone THAT DAY to fix it for me. I’m very appreciative of their immediate assistance.

I chose to work with North Shore because the man who helped me seemed like a reasonable family man and I wanted to support a family owned business. They did a good job installing except the doors & fence were pitched to high. Within two days he came to see the situation and agreed it needed to be fixed. Well, it has been a month and a half and I haven’t got a call back and they haven’t fixed it.For the price we paid I would think they would have given better service.They get the job done, don’t expect good customer service.

We are very pleased with our new fence. The job was done so well, so beautifully by 2 men who worked tirelessly. The job was done when it was quoted it would be, and the workers even made sure our dogs would be safe overnight (if they had to go out) as it took a bit over 1 day to complete. Our original fence from 2001 was put in by North Shore, so we are return customers. We will be again.

Came in to grab some parts for my pvc fence that were damaged, they matched up the rail as best they could, and I was on my way with the new parts.

They tell you gates posts are aluminum inside and filled partially with concrete. Not the case at all. We needed to dig out near by the gate they installed and post fell to the ground!!!! No aluminum insert and no concrete!! Customer service is a joke!!!! I have pictures for any who need to see!!!

Just a quick note to let you know how happy we are with the job your company did with the fence. It came out gorgeous.The work was done efficiently and my property was left in immaculate condition. As I explained to you before the job our experiences with some other area contractors were less then enjoyable. I have used this company twice and I have had no problem with the service they have done. They do quality work and quick. However, the owner RUINED the reputation of his company by coming over my house, beating on my door, and screaming “Why won’t you open the door? Are you scared?” Here is a little backstory, we got work from them Friday and was told to call to finish the payment on Monday. My husband thought I paid it and I thought he did. Simple misunderstanding. No one from the company ever called to tell us it wasn’t paid. Instead they send this animal to my house a week later and scare my kids. He obviously assumed that we were quick to not pay and rip him off. Wrong sir! When my husband checked the camera and saw it was them, he quickly paid. When I saw it was them on my camera I quickly called and asked what this was all about?! You don’t act like that. Stop thinking the worst of people. We were sure to use this company again, but that is the end of that. Such a shame an owner can act like that and expect to retain customers.

An awesome place very busy but worth the wait!

I was recommended by someone in church owner attends. They completed work and did a decent job but one of the solar post caps always felt a little loose. The job cost me close to three thousand dollars and a little over a year later that same solar post cap went flying after a windstorm. I went to north shore fence to explain what happened and owner happened to be at place. I never met her before. What an attitude! She seemed so annoyed by my problem and told me its not the companys problem. She told me I signed off on job and thats it. She said they dont carry those post caps anymore and thats it. She did nothing. I spent all that money to just be dismissed. It took a kind associate to step in and told the alleged Christian owner that he would take care of it. He did his best to help me but I will never go back there. Unless you a big company you are not getting time of day. Dont go there because the minute you sign your fence could collapse from bad workmanship and they are not responsible.

We just to thank you for the excellent job on the installation of our fence. The service your company has given us was beyond our expectations. You were there when we needed any questions answered or advice. I would recommend North Shore Fence Company to anyone who wishes a company they can trust and rely on for a professional job!!!!

Nice enough sales person. Quality of work is awful, PVC fence sags, nothing lines up. Gates are weak, flop around. I called to ask for things to be adjusted soon after install; they told me to drive to them and they’d show me how to fix it, instead of them coming to me to make it right. I’ve since needed additional fencing and everyone I called pointed out all how what they did was wrong. Just had a new PVC railing put in, work is 10x better and it was much cheaper too.

They did my fence for me . Compare to other places, they price were more affordable.

Very Bad company. The material they sell is very poor quality . The wood is rotted from being stored to long. We had previously bought fence from them several years ago and it was good quality. We recently bought some white PVC fence and it was very poorly made, but we accepted it as a cheap fence. When We recently bought some new wood 6x8 cedar fencing to replace some older rotted panels bought many years ago, We were very dissatisfied with the rotten wood slats in the fence that was delivered. We called the company and spoke to the woman who answered the phone she said We could bring in the slats which were bad. When We did the owner said this is the way the fence comes. They put the fence together themselves, at the store. He would not replace the obviously new, but rotted slats. The wood he now uses is old and damaged. The many knots in the fence are soft and falling out. The wood is bad water soaked cheap lumber he claims is # 1 quality. It is much cheaper than the original fence we bought from him several years ago. I am astonished a business man does not see the value of repeat customers. This is a deceptive company selling expensive cedar fencing that is of poor quality. Go else where and get what you pay for, not poor quality rotted fencing that has been stored to long in wet bundles.

EXCELLENT company! Called in 5 companies for estimates. Ron was very professional and knowledgable. He answered all my questions and concerns. The two men who did the installation (Eddie and W.S) were masters at their craft and worked quickly and neatly. They were friendly and respectful and Eddie has worked for North Shore for 20 yrs - says a Iot! I had 313 of fencing and two gates installed. One run is 180 long and when you stand in front of it, you see one perfect line! There is not one panel even an inch off. The quality is number 1 lumber. The job took 1 1/2 days. They knew I had a dog so they were careful only to take down the old fencing that they would be able to replace that day so the dog would be fenced in. They had to rip out 80 of chain link on top of old wood fencing. Everything was taken away and you cant even tell they had to rip out metal posts and concrete. My yard looks amazing and I highly recommend this company!
