The employee and the other customer were both very helpful! I went in for 1 item and came out with 2 items in a matter of minutes. The store is neatly arranged and well stocked. It was a very pleasant shopping experience!

Wonderful non-profit, Marian, books and religious items that is sort of out of sight until u wanna find them, along with the great, professional staff.If youre any Faith, especially Catholic, theyll have something you like, even if is just a warm greeting when u walk inside.Highly recommended.

Not just books!!! All kinds of special religious items for your home or to gift someone at a special time in their lives. I get gifts to give away at my mens group meetings - not sure what to get ? - they offer gift certificates too.

Very nice service. I do wish they would offer holy water. I have been to some lovely Catholic stores where they have jugs or pitchers of holy water. They let you fill up your own small bottle to take home or buy one from them and fill it.

Ive been to the bookstore several times, and highly recommend it.When searching for the rare encyclicals, which werent in stock, they placed the orders, and I was called within the same week to pick up my books. Have always found the staff helpful, knowledgeable and patient; I bought my Crown Rosary and Franciscan Tau cross there. Today when I stopped by, I was delighted to find a beautiful variety of creches - including one that has Mary and Joseph sculpted with outstretched arms, which can hold the white-swaddled Infant, or, if youd prefer, place Him in the manger.Respectfully displayed Catholic items, in a peaceful atmosphere, accompanied by soft music. My one regret is that Ive taken so long to write this review.

Very nice store with friendly staff. Although they tend to focus a little more with the older generation than myself, they were still helpful. There are a lot of religious merchandise in here, some unique and some typical. Quiet store with a lot to offer.

Friendly service wide selection just a great place for Christian gifts

This review is for the Centerville, OH location of St Marks bookshop. They carry several gift items, Rosaries and Sacramental gifts.The store contains a mixture of Protestant books and Conciliar (post-Vatican II doctrine) books. This can be very very confusing - check if the book has an imprimatur (only Catholic books have an imprimatur) or ask the store owner if the book is Catholic or not. Also, compared to traditional Catholic teachings, Conciliar books are written ambiguously and do not deepen ones faith, and generally sound Protestant.However, we did find a few Catholic books (pre-Vatican II doctrine) such as the City of God by St. Augustine, Glories of Mary by St. Alphonsus Liguori. We found some books by the old TAN publishers such as, A practical commentary on Holy Scripture by Fr Knecht.For future buyers of TAN books, a small note of caution: After TAN books was acquired by Saint Benedict Press in 2008, many of the Catholic books by TAN publishers have been revised and edited to conform to Conciliar theology.The store also carries the Tridentine Latin Missal, if you are looking for one, such as the 1962 Roman missal by Baronius press or the condensed 1962 Roman Catholic Sunday Missal booklet.Ample parking is available in the parking lot in front of the store. Checkout was easy and straightforward. Visit this store if you want to purchase gift items and sacramentals.+ In JMJ +
