Okay but small inventory. No one was at the front to help me, and when somebody was found to help me, she didn’t even know what a chaise lounge is. I even pronounced it three different ways for her, and she literally told me she doesn’t know what that is.With so many good furniture stores in the area, I will not be returning to this store.
Ethan Allen CentervilleI wouldnt buy furniture to furnish my dogs doghouse at your store location under ownership of Ryan Disher. We purchased a sofa and chair shy of $7,000.00 in January 2021 from Nola Payne. She placed the order and we never heard from her unless we called for updates/order status. No follow up to thank us for our purchase, or to check if we had any unresolved problems with the furniture, until AFTER I called to voice my disappointment. Months later we finally received the chair with a cushion that turns upwards on the ends appearing to be overstuffed, and a couch that has a hole in the leather fabric. I should have refused the delivery. It is now going on July (7 months) and Ive been given nothing but the run around while being thanked profusely for my patience from Patt Turner in Customer Service. They finally ordered a new chair cushion but it arrived larger than the cushion in the chair!? Furthermore, instead of taking the cushion to have it fixed they sent the delivery guy to try to swap out the cushion in my home!? The delivery guy is the only guy I have no issue with although he couldnt find the zipper on the covering to swap the cushions!? This is not a simple fix. I called Patt Turner yet AGAIN and they sent the same delivery guy out AGAIN to pick up the cushion and take it to an upholstery person to fix. I was promised next day return, but needless to say the person to fix it wasnt working and that promise was broken. When the cushion finally arrived it was no better than the original. I dont believe it was switched or even attempted to be fixed. NOW that is just the chair. The couch, with the hole, is still an unresolved issue. Patt Turner tells me on Thursday that Ryan Disher wasnt working Friday - go figure. One week later Ive heard NOTHING. So I make contact AGAIN and AGAIN am given the run around with excuses. When I ask who Patt Turner has contacted I am told she cant give me that information. Therefore, I am led to believe she isnt being truthful in having contacted anyone. I called corporate and was told Id receive a call no later than 48 hours from Ryan Disher, who is an independent owner (the downfall of all stores is independent ownership in my opinion) of the Centerville location. I called 2x today for Ryan Disher. Meanwhile Patt Turner tells me today that Ryan Disher tells ME to go contact the 800 number for customer service; however, she ignores my question as to if she was able to reach him today. Hows THAT for customer service #EthanAllen???? Is this about pass the buck while running off with my money or will Ethan Allen take accountability and make this right?? Please dont thank me for my patience anymore - after 7 months its run out.
Not sure why the reviews arent better so I thought I would share my experience. We walked in one day not realizing that its typical to set up an appointment time to meet with a designer. We were greeted by one who took time out of her lunch to go ahead and walk through with my husband and I. I made the comment that we just popped in as we needed a sofa, with the mindset of it probably being more like our parents furniture than for us, and was pleasantly surprised to see and hear from her how Ethan Allen is working to change that perception. The furniture you see is available in any type of fabric you could desire. However, that does not mean you have to spend an excessive amount of money to make a piece EXACTLY what you are looking for. We happened in on a 30% off sale. Which brought our sofa less than some mass produced sofas we had looked at with the added benefit of getting exactly the fabric and color we wanted. It does take some time to be custom made for you, but completely worth it.Fast forward 9 months of having a wonderfully comfortable, and attractive sofa. Our sofa has a tufted back and we noticed that the fabric was pulling away almost looking ripped from the buttons. Never having heavy use, we were surprised. Contacted the store and they sent out an upholsterer to inspect the couch. He reinforced the fabric where it was pulled and explained to us that due to the chenille fabric we selected it should have been reinforced differently to allow the pull you get from that fabric. I was happy with the repair, and said as much to the woman who was handling the issue. She explained that although it was fine for me, she was uncomfortable with the issue and it lasting the desired length of its functional life. They re-ordered our sofa at no cost to us, just to ensure that we were happy with our purchase. Now, we did not spend thousands of dollars on our sofa, it was a modestly priced item, but yet we were treated as we could have. Their product and craftsmanship of our sofa was what mattered to them. I cant imagine what hoops we would have had to jump through to prove it was a manufacturing issue to ANY other furniture store. Painless and made us customers for life. Point, take time to schedule :) an appointment, see what they have to offer and TRUST in the company. We do and will continue to do so in the future.
Great staff, they go out of their way to assist you. I drove from Cincinnati to this store because of their customer service. Will use this location for future purchases!
I just went in to try on sofas for my new house. The show room was full ready to welcome shoppers. Bethany was super helpful and walked us around the showroom to provide options and give details. As of late August the show room at Kenwood was a hot mess. The Centerville location was a significantly better experience. I look forward to ordering my new furniture in a couple if months at this location. I have a 14 year old sofa from Ethan Allen that is still in excellent condition so I trust the quality of their upholstered pieces.
Purchased a table for my moms kitchen. Bethany was great at helping us pick the perfect table & chairs. We had visited 3 other places & found this to be the best place for us!
Unprofessional and sloppy staff, they guy supposed to come to help for design cancel 3 times and mess my day schedule. one of my friend also told me they don’t keep their world.
I have purchased furniture from this Ethan Allen for many years and have always had an outstanding experience. Michelle Price is the designer I work with and she does an outstanding job. Also, this Ethan Allen has their own delivery people and they are outstanding.

More an elders store even though Im 46. lol Stores even has the odor of an elders closet.
